I have this film on DVD. The best bit is when she goes back in time to the birth of the Solar System. There is also a scene where she walks down a corridor accompanied by a nice piece of music.

This who's on first like banter went on for a little while longer before it finally dawned on Scarlet that Meryl Streep loved her movie. She said later that it was almost incomprehensible for her to have a Mount Rushmore actress like Meryl Streep be so appreciative of her role in a relatively minor sci-fi film.

She is an awesome actress. I think too many people get distracted by her looks and ignore the acting skill that has netted her both a BAFTA and a Tony Award.
Johansson should have gotten an Oscar for this performance.

I'm trying to figure out why she shot him, unless it was in a sense of immediacy and she just wanted to knock him out. He didn't appear to have any guns on him or reach for anything or come at her in an aggressive manner.
