The true meaning behind this movie is actually pretty scary. It’s not about brain power. It’s about the consciousness power over reality (simply by altering perceiving it)
If that had explicitly been the premise instead of them leaning on having Morgan Freeman recite a debunked myth as scientific fact then perhaps reception of this movie would have been better. Seen as less silly. Lean into the fantasy of some reality altering drug being made (her levitating immediately upon it getting into her system suggests the substance itself is capable of warping reality, and by absorbing it she ends up being able to consciously warp reality) that unlocks a new way of perceiving reality, and thus allowing someone to learn how to weave it, instead of the more incredulous fantasy that anyone could do this stuff with their brain power at any percentage and you have yourself a much more solid science fantasy thriller.
The people saying we use 100% are actually delusional and self centered 😂😂 we use a maximum of 35% as research has shown over again throughout these past years with the technology we have today. And ofc you won’t be able to move things with your mind and shi but if we did use 100% we would be actually able to control our own full body. This only happened to me once. I was on another planet though. Everyone held large jewels in their hands that helped them understand the point of view of everyone they meet. Ive seen this movie like 100% x. LOVE IT. Luc Vesson is genius. The end scene is alot like The Fifth Element. When the hero is at her highest power. Well.. all of that is wrong, we use most of our brain activity when doing activities that require it, such as homework, work, and other exercises. I mean, I guess somehow someway the mind could be connected to some neural network to get such powers that bend our perception and make things appear that aren’t there, but we are pretty far from that point. About a 100 years or so, give or take that amount till we get the technology to get that far.
Ren.C12 Sub to pewdiepie Good point, but I was thinking more about the instant knockout effect Conqueror’s Haki has on weaker-willed opponents 😄 Also, I just realized that Lucy was the fake name Luffy used in Dressrosa, so it fits even better!
Fun Fact: There actually people that use 100% of their brain at once. Those people are individuals who are in the process of having a generalised seizure.
What people failed to realize is that this movie actually takes place within the Matrix universe. Lucy started seeing everything the way it really was after being exposed to too many red pills.

i don't care about the 100% brain part i just wish my eyes changed every time i blinked
It's about getting access to the evolutionary information to all priviose species.... There are a lot of genes which are inactive and can be activated
0:51 Lucy BANNED for WallHack
😂😂😂
para quem ainda não assistiu esse filme eu recomendo muito é muito bom
This only happened to me once. I was on another planet though. Everyone held large jewels in their hands that helped them understand the point of view of everyone they meet. There in turn was no jealousy, arguing or hatred. Leaders would sit in a circle with a jewel levitating above their outstretched palm. Immediate peace and understanding was reached without one spoken word
How did you get there?

This is what a Movie trailer should look like instead of the usual giving away the whole plot kind of thing they seem to always do.
Ive seen this movie like 100% x. LOVE IT. Luc Vesson is genius. The end scene is alot like The Fifth Element. When the hero is at her highest power. Milla Jovovich was as genius in 5th as Scarlett is here. Both such amazing movies. If pressed this is my fave. I dont care if its not “true”. It still makes you think. Morgan Freeman is amazing as well, as always. If I was into Halloween maybe I would dress as Lucy. Honestly I think very few people would get the reference but those who would get it are my Homies
I remember being 7 years old seeing this at the cinema because my dad and I had no idea it was gonna be this crazy. Moral? Always check the rating 😂
Well, there was no cussing, nudity or gore in this scene...
I rember i was on a airplane at 6 years old when I saw the movie with the scene with her time traveling and years later found out it was this movie lol. But i remember when i was 6 Scarelett looked more like Nicole Kidman
Is it just me? Am I the only one who loves this movie?
Same don't care how inaccurate it is it was fun to watch
People keep calling this movie bullshit. Almost every movie out there is bullshit lol
@@gloupconnor8803 facts 😂
This movie is total shit, you gotta be hella surface level to like this dumb shit
It's awesome... Its like a superhero movie to me.. The power of 100% brain
So... increased brain activity gives you omnipotence and lets you change your hair color and length at will?
I suppose the thought process here was that it would allow her to create the cells and dna necessary to change her physical appearance
Well.. all of that is wrong, we use most of our brain activity when doing activities that require it, such as homework, work, and other exercises. I mean, I guess somehow someway the mind could be connected to some neural network to get such powers that bend our perception and make things appear that aren’t there, but we are pretty far from that point. About a 100 years or so, give or take that amount till we get the technology to get that far.
@@williamlowry92 Humans can't do that with any amount of smarts

1:41 Didn't expect Lucy to have Conqueror's Haki...
@Luke Bruce It makes more sense as Observation Haki. 4:38 is more of a Conqueror’s Haki.
Ren.C12 Sub to pewdiepie Good point, but I was thinking more about the instant knockout effect Conqueror’s Haki has on weaker-willed opponents 😄
Also, I just realized that Lucy was the fake name Luffy used in Dressrosa, so it fits even better!

weed dont make you hallucinate no the difference to tripping out and high
Fuck kind of weed you been smoking?

Fun Fact: There actually people that use 100% of their brain at once. Those people are individuals who are in the process of having a generalised seizure.
What people failed to realize is that this movie actually takes place within the Matrix universe. Lucy started seeing everything the way it really was after being exposed to too many red pills.
They were blue tho
The pills in the matrix were only symbolic.
This film made people think we aren't already using 100% of our brain. I will forever hold that against it.
Especially, those who vote the Democrats in office. 😂
We don’t. If we did how come we can’t control our dreams? Yet we have them……
@@Imbetterthanpaulallen You have a severe lack of understanding of what our brains do. 100% doesn't mean we're fucking god like, it means each part of the brain has a function.
@@Imbetterthanpaulallenah yes, your ability to use your brain is directly proportional to the ability to control your brain's puppet show when you sleep. Only lucid dreamers surely must be using 100% of their brain
@Imbetterthanpaulallen its a myth buddy. We use most of our brain at all times. Anything more than that doesn't cause you to become a superhero, it makes you have a seizure.
A lot of people in the comment section are trying to look smart by pointing out the myth about our brain using 10% or our brains. It's a sci fi movie. It's called suspension of disbelief.
No, movies are about people and people can be amazing at times. If you suspend your belief or disbelief, you will always be a mediocre person.
Pelcogo tbh there is a part of our brain the we use 10% of soooo ;)
Pelcogo there’s suspension of disbelief and then there’s making no sense in any way at all. The sounds in space from Star Wars films is suspension of belief not whatever the hell is happening in this joke of a film
The reason there are people explaining the myth is because there are people who actually still believe in it.
You are acting the same.
If your in 5D you know you can relate to this whole movie. Like if your connected
I hadn't seen this movie since 2014 and didn't remember scarlett played the role of Lucy XD.

If she disintegrated the magazine of the pistol, (or whatever she did) the pistol would still have a round in the chamber, since she didn't destroy the cartridges.
All rounds fell through the steel of the pistol - simple gravity.
