I adore this movie. Im watching it right now. I have rewatched it over and over. Its one of Scarlet's best movies. I love her in her other movies but I think this is her best.

Despite being totally unbelievable I thought this was one of the best movies EVER!!!! seen it 6-7 times. Thing is we never really know how much of it could be possible..... do we???

The real magic was how, a few seconds after ripping a guy's abdomen open and pulling out a bag covered in blood, her hand, now also covered in fresh blood, doesn't leave any blood on the door when she opens it.
Or when she gets back in he car and there's no blood on the suitcase or her hands 😂
Great film with both Scarlett and Morgan. Liked the concept of the story even though its far fetched but well thought out and a good script. Great to watch.
imo, the final scene goes way over the top

I loved this film on several levels, and it gave me a new respect for Scarlet's beauty and acting ability. Her dead pan expressions throughout much of the film were unique and entertaining.

Despite its ridiculous premise, it is a fun movie
If you look at from the perspective of scientific accuracy, brilliance of storytelling, fight choreography, etc., then of course it will be a ridiculous movie. But I don’t think that’s how the writers truly intended it to be viewed. They don’t want you to try to look at it how you would a regular movie. They want you to look at it in terms of meaning. It is, whether you agree or not, an extremely philosophically involved movie, asking viewers to think about the ramifications of our past and future evolution, our place in the universe, the increasing development of computers, the potential existence of a higher power, what information even is, the scope of potential knowledge, etc.

I like the way she goes from scared girl to omniscient bad ass in this movie.
its funny how as soon as the drug hits her bloodstream (way before she's anywhere near 20% or whatever) gravity immediately gets suspended.

In the first scene, in the corridor, she realized that she was already beyond the stage where she needed to kill all the goons to get the briefcase. Or am I misinterpreting it?

The way she just casually walks out and leaves those guys floating on the ceiling. It’s like hey wait a minute before you go If you don’t mind, can we come down now? Since you’re leaving anyways.
It's a movie. CGI effects can make up anything. It's no big deal.

One of my favorite movies is Akira, there is a scene where he is in the hall and uses a force-burst to crush people into the walls. I was really hoping she would do that. I do like that she was in Ghost in the Shell. 🥰

I don't get why she wasted so much energy when a more precise energy burst could easily deal with all those enemies. Far less energy required. They're trying to portray an advanced being. I suppose it just depends on who is being upgraded.
