Directional Boring for 7 2kV Underground Cable

The direct-bury underground cable bringing 7.2 kV of electricity from the pole along the street to the transformer near our house failed after 46 years. Given its age, Potomac Edison opted to abandon it rather than attempt a repair splice. DJJE Construction was contracted to install with a directional boring machine approximately 700 ft of conduit along and under the driveway and stream.
