Did you notice a gain in higher rpm power? I have stock turbos running 14psi and i love the power but it falls off past a certain point and would like turbos that carry the power all the way up.

Anyone laughing at the subaru really shouldn't. Having ridden in a WRX before, it will pull just as hard as that Stealth did. That being said, as a Stealth owner, this vid makes me all warm and fuzzy. :D cool car.

Thanks for the kind comment and good suggestion. The transformer is energized for only 15 minutes (the smallest increment of the rotary timer I'm using) of which the solenoid draws current for only a second (since the circuit is broken as soon as the door opens), so the transformer does not really have an opportunity to heat up, but I did zip-tie it to the cage up out of the way of the hay for convenience (and safety). This setup is used every day and still works flawlessly!

I see the transformer is laying on the hay, they can get real hot and cause a fire. Hopefully it was a temporary condition that has been corrected. Otherwise, nice work! Stay safe.

TD04L-13G turbos, 450cc injectors and a basic air signal controller is an extremely effective, tried-and-true, fire-and-forget upgrade for this platform. Folks will always suggest larger turbos but fail to mention that they exhibit more lag and can flow more air only if the engine can demand it, which requires far more significant modifications and tuning expertise. @itismike Thanks! It works well and I look forward to seeing what the quacks "think" of it in the morning. Two strips of aluminum channel would have been nearly $10, so $15 for 20" heavy duty ball bearing drawer slides was a no-brainer. There is no fuse, but the wires are now taped and secure (I wanted the circuit to be clearly visible for the video).

Nice! Love those heavy-duty slides! With the wires flinging around I sure hope there's a small fuse in that circuit.

@itismike This event was extremely accessible to fans. I literally could have handed tools to mechanics tearing down gearboxes after the IRL races. Hats off to Baltimore City for doing such a fantastic job pulling this off!
