When removing a pipe length, the motor is put in reverse, but what makes it preferentially release the top connection first, then the collar goes across and it releases the lower connection? Why, when the motor is put in reverse, doesn't the lower connection just release first (thus making the release on upper connection more difficult)? I see the 'swing over' bracket next to the motor, is that how you force the upper connection to undo, should the lower one release first?
