- I ran along with / @darkcurrent2083 on his noble journey to prove that Defenders are amazing. Sort of a companion video to his recent Defcon 5 Ostara controller test. No analysis or anything from me, just the usual stream of consciousness.. but it's interesting to see how the mission is experienced from another angle.

As I watch all I can think is "PHRASING!!" lol. Love the commentary. lol
It's crazy that your PoV of that mission was 180 from what I experienced, yet we both were saying the same things throughout the first 4 missions.
And I only threw the Ion Judgement up that ramp at the Malta after Iddie pulled a Leroy. Watch what she does and where she goes right as you're saying 'Danger Room' around 37:25. I had to pause and rewind that like 3x times in my reaction video to figure out if it was a purposeful troll train or just a major Blaster Brain Fart.
Because you were working your ass off to keep people alive, I was just blasting without a care in the world. Yeah the Danger Room was so different…lol I thought the judgment jumped down, but never saw Iddy run left in the first place until I saw your video. It def looked like they were trying to pull the lower group up… which might be fine on a different team 😂

Makes me wonder why some people get off on Empathy so hard.

Amp Up
Empower an ally with raw energy, causing all of their abilities to unleash chained bolts of electricity at nearby foes. These bolts drain a small amount of endurance and have a chance to knock up the target. Amp Up also moderately increases their attack rate and greatly boosts the secondary effects of their powers. Their power effects like heals, defense debuffs, endurance drains, disorients, holds, immobilizes and more, are all improved.
I love my Water Blast / Sonic Blaster, loads of fun and kicks butt.
On the kheldian that's called a changling build, and its basically the way you play a kheldian to the highest ability possible. Some people find it very fun, but yeah its very annoying to be standing next to one in combat.

I always called it triform, I try not to shift constantly on my warshade because it does look like you are having a fit or a personality crisis. But also, imo, if you are standing next to a warshade long enough for it to bother you, your warshade is not warshading enough and should be returned for a refund. The warshade should be in the middle of a group your tank hasn't even seen yet eating the bodies of the dead.
@@wednesdaywoeplays As a kheld main and one of the original players who first adopted the "changeling" playstyle back in late 2020/early 2021 including a guide I had posted on the forums then later removed, it can be very fun, but it does look quite jarring.
Unfortunately, Khelds have been powercrept out of relevance on HC for any niche they originally provided; see HC Tank buffs, damage AT benchmarks, etc.
Changeling is the only thing that has kept Khelds from total irrelevancy, and the exploit/bug that permits this playstyle has been allowed to stay until such a time as the HC team
decides to put Khelds under the knife and do a rework.
