I just bought one a week ago. For the money? They're pretty good. But somewhat glitchy. This tv will develope a lip synching issue. Go to power in settings and start disabling the fast start up and power saver. Seemed to fix the issue. And a restart once a day will definitely help that issue also.
I didn't go with Onn tv cause of Roku have sign up which is annoying my current is a 32" 720p Vizio smart tv 🤗Has great picture quality I use my Xbox series S in HDMI override I'm able do 1080p in 120fps has good surround sound on headphones 🎧

I bought one of these at Walmart for $88 to replace a 32 inch flat screen Sanyo I bought at Walmart 18 years ago for $797! The truth is, it is a pretty mediocre TV, but the price is incredible. So it really is the "perfect budget TV" and while you can find better TVs, you can never find one at this price. Especially since it includes Roku, which costs around $30 itself! I don't know how they can sell them at this price. I even saw a 65" ONN TV selling for $298 at Walmart. If you just need a TV that works pretty well, and you don't want to spend a lot of money on it, then this is a no brainer for you. But you can get a much better TV... for two or three times more.
@@gregzeigler3850 Yes it does. And it has Roku built right into it, so you won't need to buy a streaming device for another $30. I cut the cord over ten years ago and have never regretted it. You will end up wondering why you didn't do it sooner.

I have a smaller one for my bedroom and was using a 30 year old console TV in my living room until it gave up the ghost. You have answered many questions I had and explained everything so clearly. My Sister just bought me the 32" for my bedroom last week. So far, I absolutely LOOOVE it. The picture iZ great, itZ super easy to use, and the size iZ perfect for my room. The only complaint I have iZ that the sound iZ very low, even turned up to 90ish. I'm gonna have to get a sound bar for it. Other than that, I'm extremely happy with the TV 😆😆😆👍👍👍📺📺📺

I have one. Technology wise I am behind the times, and was using a small older non smart flat screen and a big screen tablet to do everything prior to this. So take that in to account. It works. The interface is like the separate roku I was plugging in to my tv, so easy transition there. The sound quality is decent. The picture quality is also decent. Just 720 though and It has trouble with extremely dark scenes. It can have a blocky pixelated kind of look if that part of the movie is completely dark. Overall I like it though. It does what I need it to do. I think it only cost 108 or 118 when I picked it up. So it delivers for the limited amount I spent on it. I use it regularly, and I'd buy it again. It might not suit someone else more demanding of their tv though.

Hi David, Awesome review. I really liked how you thoroughly showed the different views of the TV. A quick question. I don't have great internet at home, it's 3G cell service. I *can* use the internet (like to set up the TV) but I wouldn't choose to download or stream shows. What I would want to do is display Prime Videos downloaded on new Iphone (using a different, much faster connection). Also does the internet need to be on all the time for the TV to function? And one final question which is more a suggestion for the future, how much energy does it use (watts)? I think this would be helpful if you review other TV's in the future. Well done! PJ
Curious what city you live in ? We just moved to Canton Mi and no broad band ISP is available we settled for TMobile 100gb lte to stream so far it's not bad and also use an antenna for over the air tv channels.

I got a smaller model, and I'm so frustrated because I have to use a fire tv stick because the tv doesn't find the internet...not sure why because I'm on my computer without any problem. I lost the control and can't find the volume bottom for the life of me...not only that, but I try to register my device, enter my email, reset my password, but when I was done it kept telling me that they didn't recognize the email or password when I just register????? I'm just want to watch some tv in my room, but no control and no volume, I downloaded the app, but it's giving me a message that the can't find the device...nothing is working...I just need to find the volume, nowhere to be found
I just bought the 40 inch, it has been on for an hour and the sound has gone out twice and when it came back after turning it on and off several times, it was popping with a loud snapping sound. They are a cheap price, but NOT worth the frustration. I'm sending mine back and putting my money towards a nice 4k LG . SAVE YOURSELF THE FRUSTRATION..DON'T BUY ANY OF THESE ONN TV''S. ☹😡
@@DigitalDavid It is a known issue with the sound on this onn tv. If I would have done my Google research on this tv it would have warned me that multiple customers are having the same problem. Your right they are cheap, but Walmart could still have done a better job.

It's a good tv and you can't beat the price BUT as for me I need better internals processor software etc because I think this brand struggles with screen mirror or streaming and lags, otherwise it's the best tv to just watch movies news etc.

I hope that anyone with this product or another that's like this (low resolution tv/monitor) that you can easily build a PC with an old HP/DELL office PC like a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF (sells for around $80-$90 on Amazon) and with something like a GT 1030 graphics card ($80-$130) a Bluetooth card and an Xbox controller and you got a full pledge entertainment system great for movies/video games/music anything.

What I would want to do is display Prime Videos downloaded on new Iphone (using a different, much faster connection). Also does the internet need to be on all the time for the TV to function? And one final question which is more a suggestion for the future, how much energy does it use (watts)? I think this would be helpful if you review other TV's in the future. Well done! PJ
Curious what city you live in ? We just moved to Canton Mi and no broad band ISP is available we settled for TMobile 100gb lte to stream so far it's not bad and also use an antenna for over the air tv channels.

Roku Smart TV without any issues, as long as you have a way to connect your iPhone to the TV (such as using an HDMI cable or an adapter).
As for the internet, you do not need to have it on all the time for the TV to function, but you will need to connect to the internet in order to set up the TV initially and to access certain features such as streaming apps.
Regarding the energy usage of the onn. Roku Smart TV, I unfortunately do not have that information available to me as it was not included in the specifications provided by Walmart. I got a smaller model, and I'm so frustrated because I have to use a fire tv stick because the tv doesn't find the internet...not sure why because I'm on my computer without any problem. I lost the control and can't find the volume bottom for the life of me...not only that, but I try to register my device, enter my email, reset my password, but when I was done it kept telling me that they didn't recognize the email or password when I just register????? I'm just want to watch some tv in my room, but no control and no volume, I downloaded the app, but it's giving me a message that the can't find the device...nothing is working...I just need to find the volume, nowhere to be found

I just bought the 40 inch, it has been on for an hour and the sound has gone out twice and when it came back after turning it on and off several times, it was popping with a loud snapping sound.

@@DigitalDavid It is a known issue with the sound on this onn tv. If I would have done my Google research on this tv it would have warned me that multiple customers are having the same problem. Your right they are cheap, but Walmart could still have done a better job.

It's a good tv and you can't beat the price BUT as for me I need better internals processor software etc because I think this brand struggles with screen mirror or streaming and lags, otherwise it's the best tv to just watch movies news etc.

Mine has settings that aloud to change the audio settings... It comes at halfway audio and you can change it to higher or lower

I hope that anyone with this product or another that's like this (low resolution tv/monitor) that you can easily build a PC with an old HP/DELL office PC like a Dell Optiplex 3020 SFF (sells for around $80-$90 on Amazon) and with something like a GT 1030 graphics card ($80-$130) a Bluetooth card and an Xbox controller and you got a full pledge entertainment system great for movies/video games/music anything.
