We have had 3 ONN Roku TVs, one is a 58" that we got on Black Friday for 150 in 2019. Still works fantastic. We got a 65" for 220 on Black Friday in 2020, that one worked all the way until an accident 3 months ago where the screen shattered. We ordered a new 65 inch Onn right after, and it's surprising to seehow much their 65 has improved in only 3 years, more vivid display, quicker, smoother. I love the Onn brand, we have lots of their devices and they've all been more reliable to us than prior name brands we have owned. 🙏
I had issues snagging a 55 inch onn online on Black Friday. I was so angry all weekend until I found out Walmart had a cyber Monday online sale! Sure enough, I set my alarm on my phone, and snagged one right away once they replenished their stock for Cyber Monday! Arriving tomorrow!
I got an ONN 65 inch QLED last week. for 398 . man the colors on that thing is out of the world. puts the 65 inch curve Samsung to shame. and the Volume on this is very loud. I got a 4 year protection plan for 21$ . I would suggest the QLED because the colors are superb.
I have the 60 inch the sound is actually not that bad it gets pretty loud goes up to a 100 but it’s a loud hundred if I go to my neighbor’s house I can hear it all the way from over there and that’s without the sound bar
I had tried for days to get an online order since all my local walmarts are out of state, eventually i just went with a Hisense 70 inch still wish i got this one tho since the price is crazy and i had to spend almost $200 more for the Hisense
I had mine barely a year and it started buzzing and then started cutting off after only being on for a bit. I tried system update, making sure other devices in settings weren't checked, did a complete reset, put it in store mode, and made sure it wasn't dusty in rhe back. I'm at a loss!
I recently upgraded from an Onn Walmart brand Roku tv & upgraded to an Element Roku tv. I just felt that the Onn brand was a lower end quality product. I had it for about 3 years & it started to have problems & the screen was starting to wear out.
I read that Roku tvs play ads on the screen saver. Are they obtrusive/do they appear anywhere else? If I'm only using the tv with an HDMI connection, will i encounter ads?
The ads on the screensaver aren’t bad. If you’re in Netflix for example it will show Netflix shows like a PowerPoint. Otherwise it’s like a cityscape and it shows ads for shows on the billboards of the city. It’s pretty well done I think.
Thanks for the quick reply. That's not bad at all if it's just ads of other tv shows and in that format. I was worried about popups or banners during live broadcasts. My internet provider gives a free streaming box with their internet service so i was thinking i can avoid the whole Roku software and still have smart tv functionality.
3 days 19 hrs tv blinks out for a second while watching cablebox. Gaming and streaming work fine. Ive gone through every iteration and combination of settings, multiple times. Its very disconcerting. Im almost convinced its cable related but the only thing I've changed is the tv. Id hate to return it. it really was (is) a good deal.....but I'm to the point now where I'm anticipating the blink.....it definetly effects the enjoyment of whatever I'm watching. Im about 50% Cable 50% streaming.....So far I'm the only one who's noticed. Wife is gonna want to bring it back and get another one....I'm pretty sure theyre out of stock at this point.....anybody else experience a delay while watching cable? Ive done everything but a factory reset which I'm sure will accomplish nothing....its almost like when the picture switches scenes its buffering. But its connected via HDMI to the cable box. Maybe the ARC input is the problem....gonna switch it before I lose my marbles Thanks.
I bought one during Christmas and boy was it trash the HDR is to Dark and the screen started Flickering. I returned and Spent the extra $1600 on a Samsung QLED
Purchased this TV two days ago and hung it and discovered the screen had lines of color and cracks in the screen it came right on but could not see the start screen. It may have been how Walmart ship the unit. But it does seem to be very fragile compared to other units I have purchased. 😢
I enjoy the video even tho I don't have any Roku devices in my opinion Roku UI is very very boring for me. I have 2 Vizio smart TVs but I don't care for Vizio Smartcast UI so I have 2 Chromecast with Google TV devices. But great video and I hope you are loving your TV
Roku UI is a bit boring, themes help it a bit.. but it’s dead simple. It works well for the majority. Some UI’s are overly complicated to look more aesthetically pleasing. I think FireTV is also a bit boring but if it works well and gets the job done I’m not mad.
@@IansTech yeah a lot of people definitely enjoy the Firestick and Fire TV. Was actually going to get one until I found out that Google had a new and better version of the Chromecast. Which was Chromecast with Google TV and I absolutely love it.
I mean is commom sense, obviously walmart tv's aren't worth the money. My friend bought it and it after couple days the screen turned black and this has Happened to other people too. Next time spend more money on a good branded tv like samsung or LG then you'll see the difference in screen quality and sound.
@@shabazalikhan520 it’s so weird how almost any 4k tv you buy in the store all use the same LG panels. There might be some quality control issues with ALL of the entry level TVs, but Onn is a Walmart store brand, Walmart customer service is typically very consumer friendly, and finally Onn has a 2-year manufacturer’s warranty… something not many others can match.

Dude really did a walkthrough on the TV's features. Not a lot of people do that for an unboxing and setup video. Nice job!
You didn't mention the screen saver. I have mine set to aquatic. And it turns my TV into a huge fish tank. Very cool.
Just got My 70" for Only $250 Beacouse Box Had Water Damage.......Nothing wrong with it.....Works Perfect 👌......Absolutely love it

Really impressed by your walk through. I bought a 55in and almost decided I hated it.
Cranking out all the videos ! 🙌🏼🔥
Ian the colors are beautiful
Thank you for the video just bought one $455 75 inch 4k
how do u adjust the sharpness? ive tried...

Having an audio out jack on the remote was one of my favorite features with Roku. They shouldn't have removed it.
Is the box way bigger than the TV? Afraid now that my tv won't fit in my space 😔

I boy the same tv and I can't watch HDR content on any streaming channel. The tv will go to the home screen. Any ideas
Which specific ones have you tried? I use Apple TV for streaming and it does HDR.. I get the logo in the top right corner every time.

I would either return it or exchange for another. Have you tried that cable box on another TV?
Honestly just get a Samsung you’ll thank me later
Question : if I wanted to connect a vcr / DVD player to this what cord would I need? Thank you 💜
You’ll need the RCA cables or a coaxial cable. So red white and yellow cables or the cable that used to be used for say a cable box
Is the tv really 13" wide as it states in the store ad? My old 55" tv is only 4" wide, sitting on a 10" wide stand. Thanks.
I have one but I bought a swivel/wall mount a long time ago
Hi.. I lost my lil book go with tv. Can you tell me where the on and off button is located?
My favorite onn Roku tv
How bright does it get cant find that info anywhere
I have a 32" and a 23" ONN Roku tv. They are pretty good. Better than the Vizio I had.
Onn better than Vizio fr

Thanks for information men
Is this a QLED?
Hey Ian! 6months later -- how's it holding up?
I did not keep it. The one I had had a bad panel with imperfections otherwise I would have kept it.
@@IansTech Oh, that's unfortunate. You seemed content with it, despite considering it's shortcomings.
@@averycolnite3561 I think had it not had the panel issues it would have been fine. My last was a TCL Roku and I loved it for the time I had it.
Does it automatically go to 4K
That is really good!😊

shipping is not walmarts or the TVS problem.
Does anyone happen to know what size the stand screws are and where I can buy some?
Bluetooth doesn’t work connecting streambars
lol this has bluetooth?

Im thinking about getting tv but a roku onn 65 inch dose anyone if those are good TV's?

Wonder how good onn really is
I payed $350 for mine

The audio on mine sounds very tinny.
Yep, I use a sound bar so sound wasn't a huge concern for me
This tv was barely 4k. I didnt like it n returned it.
I mean it is 4k I don’t know what you mean by barely 4K. Picture looks pretty good considering the price.
It’s 2K TV
