Just when I convinced myself that I was just gonna cut down my beat up metal bed floor when I do the shortbed conversion, you do this! Now I'm not so sure I can't just do this myself and stain the boards super dark.
I know this is an older post but I need to know if the outside boards are cut on both sides, too or just goes under the angle on the sides… thank you very much.
Sorry man, I don’t sell them. Had I known I could have Routered some for you today, I did three trucks. Just got my garage cleaned up of all the sawdust 20 minutes ago lol. Not doing another one for awhile I’m sure. Sorry bud
Nice job! At the first of the video it looks like the overall finished width of the groove is 9/16... but then at the end it looks like the 1/4 bit cuts the overall width to 5/8. Is the total finished width 5/8?
"She doesnt watch any of my videos, so I should be safe." I feel ya, man
Hahahaha
Awesome ! Thanks for the great info.
Glad it was helpful!
Very informative! I’ll give it a go this weekend!
Great video! Will definitely reference your video for my 64’ gmc!

You can totally do this
You make me feel like I could do this.
You can, one of the easiest things I’ve done to my truck. For real.
GMC Paul site shows the boards at 7-716" wide but a 1x8 is actually 7-1/4. does it still work out?
Sure did for me

Just goes under the angle, will need to be trimmed up but only need to use the router on one side
Thank you
Hi!!, Do you know if it is the same size for a 70´s c10 stepside?? mine is 75
I’m going to do this…..what are the 2 router bits #’s needed to do the job
1/4” and 9/16”
Do you have a video where you installed these in the truck bed?
Yep, on a fleet side
