Thank you for sharing these wonderful food locations. As I am taking a cruise to Penang and do not have the luxury of time to savour much, this video gives me a quick & good choice to select. Wonder any nice durians in main Georgetown area that is nearer to the Swettenham pier ? Thks
Just found your channel, and I think your videos are a gem. Each vlog is described with pleasant commentary and deep knowledge, almost reminding me of Rick Steve’s videos! Keep up the good work; you deserve more subscribers! 🎉
Nice. Saw a couple of places that I would like to visit. Got to kiv for my next trip, as I just went to Penang early April 2024. Wish I had seen your vlog earlier.
@@tonycheahcaI think he means “Sambal Belachan” which is pounded/blended chilli with grilled shrimp paste and lime juice. Sometimes it’s added to stir fry or served separately according to customer’s preference.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'll have to try Auntie Gaik Lean's nonya eatery and Sarkies (coz the hotel ambience looked great but I'm not sure about the food). On a side note, hope you don't mind if I suggest you avoid filming strangers' faces in your video, and if you do, please cover their faces with an emoji. I'm sure most of us would not like our faces appearing in a stranger's video for the whole world to see.
Wow! This is mouthwatering indeed! Thanks for the recommendations!

@@kimlim6047 where do get this idea? Penang Ckt has no sambal belacan or lime. There is no such thing. Don't be a kepo to add in such nonsense.
best state to eat malaysian food.
Totally agreed. Actually, along with Malacca
The best Dim sum go to HK,Penang also not bad cost is reasonable.
Hey thanks! Totally agreed. I would add the Tim sum in Guangzhou as well.
wow, c'est incroyable de voir la Malaisie avoir des trucs français comme Croissant. Je ne suis jamais allé à Penang !

Thanks for watching the video and for the feedback.
Is all recipe made from halal ingredient?
Hey, am afraid not all the restaurants here are halal. Do check on the internet first before heading there.
Thanks for sharing.but why mention Singapore when you're in Malaysia??? Weird..😅
Thanks for watching the video. Hmm, which part? I must have mentioned Singapore just for comparison since we are from Singapore.
If I come here I would look for st. foods than fancy rest.
Yes, the street food in Penang is among the best in the region.
Tiger char koay teow is the worst among the best.. Or the best among the worst. Just try yesterday 😅😅
Indeed Penang has a lot of good food!
No need for Michelin star la,we in PG know what it's good,Michelin only good for putting up price.
I couldn’t agree more with regards to the Michelin ⭐️. The locals definitely know best!
Ya, right. Got better restaurants for Dim Sum, Nyonya food. We locals don't patronise Michelin star restaurant.
The best Dim Sum is @ Fu Er Dai
Next time i must go and try that. I love dim sum!
