Honestly when you picked it up I was like wow that looks pretty bad, but its amazing what just a simple clean can do! already looks 10 times better, excited to see where this thing ends up!

Those seats definitely need to be water blasted with some cleaner then wet vacuumed. But I believe you can totally restore this! If Kalvin Malli can do it, you for sure can. Also be careful with cleaning the interior, that mold can give you really nasty lung diseases. Nightride wore respirators to be safe
It's usually only people with existing lung diseases or weak immune systems who are vulnerable to mould infection. For example I personally seem to be totally immune to it, no matter the concentration. Not saying don't wear basic PPE, but I reckon the risk is quite low especially since the cabin isn't a sealed container due to the lack of windshield.

Its an absolute experience restoring a car from this state. I spent a year restoring my ke-20, and I documented the purchase and some of the work done to it. I have been taking it to local autoshows, and the feeling is nothing less than phenomenal.

Hey Rex. I know you probably don't want to do this but please please replace the carpet there could be mold inside the carpet. Aswell you can get the tank welded just gotta take it out drain what's possibly left wash it out with water and let it air out for 3 days then you can weld it up
Pull that carpet and dash out and check the inner A pillars for rust.
Also don’t fuck with the sunroof too much, there aren’t any new replacements and the sunroof seal is integrated with the glass and bezel

Try a can of flex seal on the hole in the fuel tank . it has work for me on fuel tank got hole in it and oil pan cracks
Hopefully it works out for ya, picked up my 32 gts4 for 9k running no bad cosmetic issues but shit times have changed lol.
