Thank you for doing this video. It covered so many aspects of trail life. I spend time in the woods everyday and fully understand how healing it can be. It restores my body, mind and soul.
This was such a lovely idea! Thank you for serving up this unexpected but sweet dessert! Thank you to all your friends for being so game to be interviewed. Fabulous!
Very cool! Makes me happy for those who finish. I only hiked a half before my injury sent me home, but I had some great times and wonderful memories. Thanks! Tinker, half-way, AT '23
Hi I followed your hike the whole way through! Thanks for sharing your tramily with us! Such a very cool idea! Merry Christmas to each one of you and wishing you all a very Happy and Hiking New Year!! 🥾🏕️🧗🏼♂️🎅🎄🇺🇸❤️
Loved the story about the bagpipes. probably past Boiling Springs, PA maybe? Just the serendipity that you can't expect or plan and yet an infinite moment. Kinda fascinated/pleased Magpie liked Pearisburg of all places, I get down there a couple times a year (that is, Virginia Tech) and day-hike sections of the AT on occasion, but, it's kind of out there, no?
I see you're hiding videos from us when you were still on the trail 😂 no but seriously thanks for the video and to share this information with us. I'm sure you all will stay in touch.
Did you mention how you and the tramily ended up falling in together as a group? All seem to be in a generally same age group, were you seeking out similar age groups or was that just a coincidence?
Tech, Sparky, Magpie, and Cyclo found each other in week 1. I met them as an early tramily then but was not hiking with them yet. At mile 500, they caught up to me and we had similar mileage planned for the next week. Our plans coincided and we continued together the rest of trail. We picked up Moose around mile 700 in a similar way.
THIS video is everything. Amazing documentary storytelling. As an aspiring thru-hiker this video is like candy..

@@appalachianadventurista thank you! Is there an episode that covered how they all came by their trail names?
