I received my HL2 plus a few days ago. After watching On7off and you I’m up and running and have already had excellent audio reports! If it wasn’t for Kurt and yourself producing these videos I probably wouldn’t have biught1.Thanks Chris Gm4zji
Nice video Ian. I have now also bought the HL2, and have it up and running on, believe it or not, both of my Mac machines! Thetis runs on Windows 10/11 in a Virtual Machine using Parallels. Just heard you on 40M 11:50 Sunday 4th Feb. Keep up the great work Ian. John
Hello mate thanks for the video. Ive been using my Flex 3000 for over 15 years so powerSDR is very similar to Thetis so have a look at some videos on PowerSDR and you may pick up some tips. Hope you and Linda have a good year. Ps just waiting for my SQUARE SDR to arrive very similar to the Hemes Lite 2 73 Tony
Ian, what OS system are you using to run the software? I use Win 11 doing a search looks like Linux. Could you put links for Hermes Lite2 and Thetis Software? Happy New Year to you both. 73 Phil G0BVD
Hi Phil. Thetis runs on Windows. I run on Windows 10 on a Dell Optiplex 3040 with 16GB RAM and a 500 SSD. You will find the links on my blog, link below :)
@@bayamateurradiogroup Thanks for the reply Ian. Just been to your blog excellent write up and good information. Looks like it will also be an ideal QRP CW station 🙂73 Phil
@@PhilG0BVD You will have to deal with the latency. I am going to try using a keyer in to the radio with its own sidetone. Hopefully that should work well
