  • A quick vid looking at the new cmASIO feature in 2.10.3.5 of Thetis. cmASIO is implemented by Bryan W4WMT.
Something I forgot to mention. Another reason for this implementation is for users that do not have headsets or mics connected to the radio, and have up until now used vac, to give them a an experience that is similar to having mic/headset etc connected to the hardware.

@mw0lge I've got it working on my 7000dle Mk3 using Protocol 2, Windows 10. I'm glad I watched your video to set this up. Additionally, I needed to enable the MIC and adjust the gain as you mentioned. I never enabled the Mic on my previous mic/audio set up. 73 de N4VFR Darren

nice one Darren, glad you got it working. Yes MIC needs to be enabled if you are using cmASIO. Good stuff. 73

I will try this once I get my Protocol 2 working on my 7000dle Mk3. It's not communicating with my laptop. I may have to revert back to Protocol 1.

Update: I've got Protocol 2 updated on my 7000dle Mk3. Initially used the wrong rbf file.

Hi Richie, I remember when the network throttle feature was a manual update in Microsoft registry I think it was the seven F’s to add in, but then a checkbox was created in the network section of setup where it implemented that feature automatically any chance a similar function can be done the same way?

yes it can be, but at the moment it is designed to limit use by making it for those that are comfortable messing with the registry. There will come I time when it is moved to the UI no doubt.
