People should make ai videos of drones flying too high. Close to aircraft, and see if the FAA falls for it.
Great video! I'm so torn as it is so good, but also scary in how it will, or already is being used and we won't even know. There are so many apps already that use this to some extent (they can change your clothes in a photo, change backgrounds, etc.), even Amazon is using this daily. An interesting time... 😲
Thanks! It is coming, actually it is already here already to some extent. Generative fill in every editing program is standard now, even in Luminar for photos it is available for cheap...

I really think that AI will be relevant in our lives as days go by. I choose to support real humans and cinematographers and will continue using my drones and cameras to do the things i love.

I remember 25 years ago visiting either MGM or Universal Studios at Orlando Disney. They had a bit where they took a couple of people from the audience and insert them in real time into a I Love Lucy episode. It wasn't synthesized per se but merged video in a very convincing fashion.
Quite frankly I have been very leery of so-called video evidence for quite a long time now. But now that AI can do it for anybody makes it even worse. They can make anybody look like they did or said anything they want. It's going to be an interesting election. Hopefully survivable.

Very good, but you overlooked the intellectual property (copyrights) issue.
Indeed this is true. Law abiding countries who care about such things will fall behind almost immediately...
Satellite images will be used to make a lot of real estate images as they are able extrapolate the scene and make it look like the drone is flying at a certain elevation as told by the agent telling the AI how to make it. AI is going to change a lot of things. In ten years we may not be able to tell what's real and what isn't. Heck, maybe in just 1 year. A lot of Hollywood TV and Movie jobs will go away for sure.
That's a great thought of using satellites as part of the input for AI. I can also see a full length movie being created, even using a known actor as a character, then pay them a royalty for using their likeness...
@@AlienDrones Yes, using the likeness of someone people already know will make the transition from real actors to AI actors easier for the masses to swallow. One thing that will change is actors will no longer have to age out of action parts like 007. The AI actor will never age unless the creator wants them to. Smaller UA-cam creators will be able to subscribe to a site just like they do with copywrite music and sound effects now. These new sites will be able create short clips of drone shots or a million other shots not currently available to the masses.
I never thought I'd be able to make a 360 video but through the magic of technology and a 360 camera anyone can buy, anyone can do it. As the camera and technology gets better, we will be able to combine standard flat video with 360 video cleanly. I expect to see that this year.
As you said, AI changes are happening. People can either be appalled, happy, disgusted, whatever, but it's coming regardless. I personally don't mind it at all but the possibility of it being misused is very concerning. My hope is some kind of guard rails get put in place by the techies to prevent misuse or be able to identify all AI footage at a glance with some kind of built-in watermark that can't be removed by evil doers. People need to know if it's real or if it's "Memorex" (if you remember that commercial).

There is NOTHING here, that wasnt known fifty years ago, and correctly told to the reader as to EXACTLY what paths would be taken with all of this, and its FULL Layout of how it would impact the world. So.. *shrug* This is what you get.
Thank bro after this great review I went and purchased it. It’s nothing like what it shows in the demos it’s actually total garbage. Even upon prompting it to make a 1 min video the best I got was a few seconds.
Where did you purchase it? My understanding is this version is not released to the public but is only in very closely limited internal testing, so not certain what you bought or tested. Their web site shows "...Sora is not yet available to the public. "
I'm sorry, but I don't see it with real estate. It's going to miss or misrepresent critical details of a structure. The only good way to get the images to feed it would be a drone, its adding an extra unnecessary step.
But imagine if you now only need 4-10 really good pics that show the entire property the I can see how ai will improve the time. But unless it's able to "see" it then it literally can't make it exactly right because it's just guessing even if that guess is really amazing.
Indeed, probably not completely right away, BUT just for discussion, what if a realtor (or better yet their intern) puts a cell phone on the end of a pole (better yet a 360 camera) and walks around the house, a matter of 60 seconds. Then walks through the house recording, maybe another 2 minutes. Then this is fed into a model which outputs a cinematic orbit, flying up to and through the front door, around the kitchen and through all the bedrooms, then finishes up with a cinematic dronie move. Should be accurate and include details the same as or better than a drone video. Will it increase the need for drone pilot to get the equipment, travel to site, set up, figure out the story desired, take all the different angles of pics/footage, tear down, travel home, edit all the footage then submit it to the customer along with the bill... or decrease it?
I don't see a value in these clips. They are like hallucinations.
