I will also like to add that nomadicstar you are doing a great job and keep it up!!!
I am an African American manga cartoon artist and love drawing my African characters performing these arts. This is a beautiful and it is time to kill the stereotype the world has brought upon us. Please keep posting. I rely on people like you.

If you don't mind me asking; how did you come across this Beautiful Science? Where did you study with your teacher? And are you excepting new students and if so is there a certain limit to thee amount of students?

So wait. What exactly IS Knocking and Kicking if you you don't mind my asking? Is it a stand alone method of fighting on its own or is it capoeira taken to its logical combat extreme?

It’s its own thing it was developed during slavery amongst enslaved Africans Americans. I’m pretty sure Kicking and Knocking and Capoeira have the same ancestor but, no, one did not develop from the other.

@@Ronaldo-rt7hl Ah, thanks for clarifying for me, fam. So it really IS a stand alone method that's it's own thing, yeah?

@@oceanberserker you can do further research it’s documented but yes it’s a stand alone practice but it’s going to be similarities just like all the diasporan cultures you can find similarities but similarities shouldn’t be mistaken as the same. It’s definitely erroneous to say it derived from Capoeira tho since they are both daughter practices of another African martial arts.

@@Ronaldo-rt7hl I figured as much. Credible sources aren't exactly easy to find though.
