Life Update: Vlog 2

In my Last Vlog update, 2 months ago which is a lot longer than I would have liked, I revealed that Becca and I are expecting our first Baby boy in January 2022.
Since that video we have been on an extremely turbulent journey in which we discovered that unfortunately he will be born with some complications. I reveal all in this video, what his diagnosis is, what it means for his future and how we are doing everything we can to ensure we give him the best possible life we can.
It has definitely been an emotional and trying time for us. With both of us having to take some long term time off work, travel and purchase supplies for our living arrangements over the next few months it has definitely been strenuous on our financial situation.
In this video I thank a lot of people for the support they have offered us and the effort they have put in to ensure we are capable off providing our baby boy with the best care possible.
Special thanks to the fetal medicine team in the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast and the team here in Kings College fetal Medicine research academy for providing us with the best possible care. In addition I would like to thank the NHS patient travel team who have ensured we have had adequate accommodation for the duration of our stay in London, without this service there is no way we would have been able to afford the trip and care needed.
I thank my family, friends and my work colleagues for being supportive of us and I will never be able to convey in words how unbelievably grateful we are to have such an incredible support network around us.
