It's good to see that one person is logistically capable of unboxing and putting this behemoth together. My Star Wars room is ready and waiting. Thank you, Hasbro for keeping the child in me alive with these amazing projects. I've backed them all!
Yes, and possibly going do phantom with s1,2 hera, and maybe since we only have s3 Sabine we get her and ap5, or s1,2 or 4 Sabine, part of s4 is same one but with vambraces, want late s4 Sabine, and s1 for show lol, need new tooling for droids, tvc C3PO is bad, can use same body for ap 5, maybe ap5 and assassin droid 2 pack
Thank you very much Chris and Hasbro for giving us a video showing us the unboxing of The Ghost. My kids and I are going to enjoy this ship and hope not to break it as you show it to be durable. This has been a thorough and detailed, also very helpful video of the unboxing of The Ghost. Continue with videos like this because we appreciate it a lot.
This is one of the most impressive toys I have ever seen. I cannot wait to get my hands on this. Thank you for the fantastic video Chris - this has just got me even more excited for this toy!
Awesome job hasbro! Way better than the razor crest; double boxed, figures are protected and separate, and no giant styrofoam pieces! Seriously, much improvement, thanks Hasbro team!
This was a wonderful, step-by-step guide in putting this magnificent ship together. Thank you for the video, made it super easy, barely an inconvenience!
_The Ghost_ was foolishly RUSHED in its ratio architecture- dimensioning design stage. > Look at THE FRONT CARGO HOLD & RAMP. It's an epic fail! WtF! All it needed was one more inch- so the figures could actually walk-in & out and stand inside the ships basement cargo hold. Why make the ship that nice and not have that ?? Thus, making _the Ghost_ overall a complete waste.
@floorboss I agree. And the lack of paint wash that's starting to define the modern era Vintage Collection vehicles is shambles, especially as this is premium
idk man. The Barge had FAR more going on. This thing reminds me of the Rebel Transport. HUGE but not all that great in play features. And the lack of wash detailing etc. It's almost like they were going FOR the vintage look from 40 years ago.
For all people that have questions about dismantle fully and put back in box. The anwser is yes!!!! Just push in the middle section for left and right and the three parts will snap off very easy. Its a real cool ship! Happy to have it
Hopefully they'll offer a Rebel Blockade Runner / Tantive IV someday. It was originally intended by Kenner for the Return of the Jedi line but it was never produced and only a prototype was made. It's way long overdue!
That would be huge. Probably MSRP $1000. Not too many would be shelling over that kind of bread for a toy. I would though. But where would I put it? I need a huge Star Wars collector's room.
Thank you Chris for these detailed video instructions. Very comprehensive information provided throughout. Nice that there are no stickers to apply! Love all the extra little sculpted details that I don't think were mentioned before. Also amazing weathering on the ship and the engines. Highly looking forward to this.
Awesome video! Love that there are designations written on the pieces for easier assembly. Excellent work, SW Team!!! Now if only the higher-ups would give TVC a bigger budget for all the characters we're missing...
The only thing that kept me from getting this was space. Glad this got funded. Consider yourself extremely lucky if you got one to play with and display 👏🏽
Thanks for walking us through this massive box, Chris! It's been ghostly silent around this HasLab. Was hoping for some updates since July 2023 and almost 600€. But after seeing the GHOST come together here, the hype is real!
All I can say is, awesome. Should've got this ten yrs ago when Rebels aired, but still glad this was made. Keep up the good work, Haslab. Next up, Asohka's T6 or Bad Batch's Marauder. Cad Bane still needs a ship.
Chris, brings memories of my unboxing the Palitoy Millennium Falcon, on Christmas day, i was 9 or 10 and loved that Christmas, now over 40 years later, I still have the Falcon and box, all the stickers and bits and pieces.
These are beautiful toys that take me back to my childhood. Toys like these hopefully will always be around. When I have the space, I'll definitely pick one up (albeit from eBay lol)
Are the side panels on the ghost removable after initial assembly in order to store them if you need to put it back in the box or put it in a smaller shelf? Thank you.
They specifically stated in an early update that the sides would be removable so the Ghost could sit on a shelf with standard depth. They also demonstrated this feature in that update.
Great video. Dant wait to get mine. Couple of observations though. 1. Would have been nice to have the picnic table, stool, and chair plug in like the chess table so they werent being flung around inside when im flying this thing around. 2. Does the phantom 2 just sit on top? I saw two pegs but ive been curious about what attaching mechanism this was going to have. Same with the turret. If im gonna be flying this all over my back yard, id like everything to be as secure as possible. Would have been nice to see the ship disassemble again as well.
I wish had been able to keep this backed. By the time it got down to the wire, I had to give it up. I have had to miss out of a few Star Wars and GI Joe projects but kept a hold of the Transformers RID project. The cardbacks are perfect.
I'm hanging mine from the ceiling 😮 have to go in the attic and drill holes through the ceiling underneath as each line that comes down ( and is clear fishing line for a sword fish weight) each line goes through 2 by 4's in the attic structure so there's no worries of this EVER FALLING FROM THE CEILING 😊😊😊
Awesome video thanks Chris & crew. Wish the picnic table and chairs were slotted like the dejarik table to keep them in place, but I get that they are meant to be customized wherever you want them. Nice work on packing the figures so they're pristine also. People like me are not opening mine but getting them graded. Can't wait.
I find it interesting that the Star Wars squadrons Ghost has an interior layout different that this. For example, there are four sleeping quarters and the living area is much smaller.
Unfortunately the side sections and the motors don't have reversable locks, so once you click them I guess it will need to dismount the central section in order to reach the interiors and unlock them. Other than that, the model looks amazing, can't wait to receive mine.
Ok @Hasbro, winter is rapidly approaching, and my Ghost is supposed to ship in the fall. I'm seeing people in Europe posting pics of theirs. It's almost Christmas. Where's mine? What is the ever loving hold up? Are you trying to make me not want to buy your products ever again? It's bad enough that for your preorder products, people always get them in stores BEFORE Hasbro customers, but this is a Haslab and not a cheap one either.
Dang that thing is huge…pretty cool. Too expensive for me but thankfully I am more than satisfied with my microgalaxy squadron version…and tbh I think it looks a bit better with the colors and not as bulky. But still this is really cool and huge! Hope people who got it enjoy!
@ me too. I saw a comment about how there are groups that don’t get factored in til later. It’s sounded like it will be ok. Let’s keep our fingers crossed still though David.
This looks amazing - I very nearly backed it, but I've been getting all of the GI Joe ones, so hard to justify the price for me - congrats to all of those that will be receiving it soon!
This looks so cool. I cant wait to have mine. Also i hope they make the marauder with the bad batch. I so badly need those figures, and it seems it will be the only way to get them
Is it possible to disassemble the Ghost again? Are the side wings easy to remove without breaking something? I just ask if i want to store the Ghost back into the box for reasons now unknown?
One minor disappointment is the table and stools dont have a clipping system, so if one were to fly it around they will move about. Also hoping we get a phanton 1 in the future as well as the rest of the S1 figures. Im debating whether or not to open the crew or not.
@Tarriq I bought 2 if each of the rebels crew thinking of doing the same thing I also bought 2 of the Sabine and chopper 2 packs... I normally open but they just look so nice as a complete cared set
Thank you Hasbro & everyone involved in this project. Most Impressive! It's been so long I almost 4got about it. I'm impressed by the packaging & everything as a whole. Looks great! My only wish is that there was some way the furniture could be tabbed into place in the ship so they wouldn't slide around when the ship is moved. Otherwise, I am really happy with the final result.
Great video, looks as good as expected. Still wish it could have been backwards compatible with the original Phantom though. And where does Sabine sleep? 🤔
Please make a video where you take the 3 large panels/Segments from one side of the Ship, so it can be displayed on a shelf. Can they be detached easily, for different display options?

The Ghost evokes cherished childhood memories of unboxing Star Wars vehicles at Christmas!
They need to make a phantom 1 that is compatible as well and sell separately
Yeah phantom 1 is vastly superior
21,000 orders right off the bat, I reckon
I know someone with 3D print one . When they do I’m there
Yeah, i didn't like phantom 2 at all.
I almost backed out when they said phantom 2.
Does the rebels phantom not fit that'd be cool
I would love to see a future figure release of AP-5
Yes, and possibly going do phantom with s1,2 hera, and maybe since we only have s3 Sabine we get her and ap5, or s1,2 or 4 Sabine, part of s4 is same one but with vambraces, want late s4 Sabine, and s1 for show lol, need new tooling for droids, tvc C3PO is bad, can use same body for ap 5, maybe ap5 and assassin droid 2 pack
I didn’t back this but I’m so happy for those that are waiting with bated breath for theirs. Roll on next year when the Cantina arrives! 😃👍🏻

Yes. We just need lights and sounds like toys 40 years ago and they would nail it. Millennium Falcon from A New Hope next please!!
@@josecarlosmediano840If only...
Agreed. Packaging / packing is much improved. I think the turning point was after the Victory Saber damages.
A Screen Accurate AT-AT would be awesome too!!! Not those deformed monstruosities
This was a wonderful, step-by-step guide in putting this magnificent ship together. Thank you for the video, made it super easy, barely an inconvenience!
Build seems easy but what about dismantling without breaking parts. Could we see how to take it back apart safely? Thanks
Yes, I'm curious about this too!
Looks like the same connectors as the BMF mandibles… and those did not disconnect without breaking.
😮@@stacyauckland
@@stacyauckland So we cannot dismantling it without breaking it?
@@aristokristandyo6572 why would you be dismantling it? those connections seem like once in they are locked in for life on the side hull parts.
Now what you need to show is a full teardown video. That's the scariest part. I'm so excited to get this home!
Oh god no just tried that won’t budge
This ship is a masterpiece along with the Jabba barge. I wish I would have had those.

but I’m still incredibly excited. 😄

When you realize this guy has the dream job of all of us.
I just set mine up. It's incredible. Awesome Christmas gift to myself and my son (but mostly to myself) 😊
An LED light kit would make this Ghost even better.
Are the side panels on the ghost removable after initial assembly in order to store them if you need to put it back in the box or put it in a smaller shelf? Thank you.
Great question! I want to know also.
They said early on that it comes apart so you can display just sections at a time.
@Shagbert I think they were referring to the Removable Panels on Top, to Display the Different Interior Sections.
Those wings look permanent like the Falcon front. They give us loose furniture also that should be permanent.
They specifically stated in an early update that the sides would be removable so the Ghost could sit on a shelf with standard depth. They also demonstrated this feature in that update.

Im glad they using corner protectors. Im so excited, and i jjust cant hide it. Im about to lose control and i think i like it
I would get an Empire Strikes Back At-At for 3.75 figures in two seconds!
I’ve got one. It’s not in scale with the action figures, only 19” tall. I’m planning to make one in scale; 32” tall, with interior.
I cannot believe how big that is!! I can’t wait to get mine!
Yup. It'll look great in my basement in the box!!!
I am not even a Star Wars fan, but this thing looks amazing!
Looks epic! Thank you for the video. Please consider the Ebon Hawk for a future Haslab!
Got mine a week ago. Omg...it is massive! But i have not yet even opened the second internal box. Lol.
It’s happening!! Can’t wait to see closeups of the final figures.
looking forward to receiving mine in France

Put the Ebon Hawk on Haslab
The stools, chair, and picnic table should have been able to connect to the ship.
Tiny magnets hidden inside the pieces could have worked.

Great job showing off the ship and it's assembly.

The ladder in the cockpit does it go anywhere?
It goes down into the cargo hold, accessible from the front ramp, but we really havnt seen it yet. Guessing there is not much detail in there.
Can you make a At-At walker for 3.75 figures please?!
They did
Huge!
Does the original Phantom seat in the shuttle dock?
Sabine and Chopper are still availble. Same with the E-wing.
No it doesn't snap in. They mentioned that previously.
I have no room for this. Why did I buy two?
One to keep, one to sell?
That's ok, I bought 3. Good thing I have an attic, lol.

Is it possible to disassemble the Ghost again? Are the side wings easy to remove without breaking something? I just ask if i want to store the Ghost back into the box for reasons now unknown?
Yes I have that question too. It seems that it's not easy to disassemble it again.
They said in a previous video that the sides would be removable but we haven’t seen how easy/difficult it will be…
It looks incredible, looking forward to getting mine.
This thing needs a flying stand like the Razor Crest had.
Now for the 6 inch AT-ST chicken walker...hey Hasbro
Why no paint weathering on the bottom?
Exactly. What irritated me was he was saying we could hang it up and put landing gear covers on so it won’t look unrealistic.
One minor disappointment is the table and stools dont have a clipping system, so if one were to fly it around they will move about.
Also hoping we get a phanton 1 in the future as well as the rest of the S1 figures.
Im debating whether or not to open the crew or not.
My plan is to use the older rebels figures and the new ones they released at retail. But also the ahsoka team
@Tarriq I bought 2 if each of the rebels crew thinking of doing the same thing I also bought 2 of the Sabine and chopper 2 packs... I normally open but they just look so nice as a complete cared set
Idk if I’m gonna open them all, but I’m definitely opening Hera’s sexy Twilek self!
This is nice. Great job. I received my Dragonfly - truly nice.
