I’m 49 and loving every minute of this. Still watch the cartoons too! Looking forward to receiving my Dragonfly… now I just need to make room for it! 😅
The worst thing about watching these unboxing is the fact that EVERY TIME I WATCH ONE I hate myself for only backing one. Great job Hasbro Joe team! Bravo!
OK I'll be that guy. The white "rockets" are missiles. Side winders. The nozzle on the back for tail rotor control is called NOTAR (no tail rotor). There would be a fan in the forward end of the tail boom that the nozzle takes for pedal turns. The main blades or Rotor blades. Helicopters do not typically have propellers. The green tubes with multiple launch capabilities are in fact rockets. The four missiles on the racks on either side or hellfire missiles. You guys should hire me I'm an ex helicopter mechanic worked in the Army on Cobra's and Apaches call me. Lol.
they could have been SIDEARMS (AGM-122) which were retooled C model sidewinders with diffeerent seeker heads intended for short range anti-radar application
Whoah!!! The Dragonfly is a notar????? Even more stoked that I got one now! Notar means it has no tail rotor, just like the rotor wing aircraft I work with. Very rare system that I think only MD helicopters use. Uses air shot through tail and out the end to counter rotor spin instead of a tail rotor. Super cool detail. Love it.
Had the original way back in the 80s. I loved it! My absolute favorite toy for a while. My brother liked Cobra and had the F.A.N.G. Chopper. We played battles between them quite alot. Nice memories
OUTSTANDING!!! The Haslab team hit another one out of the park! I am so glad I was able to back this. I can't wait to have it in hand. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.
As someone who works at a technical college specifically focused on Aerospace, I really love this. It will look great in my office, both as a toy, but also as something that our faculty can appreciate.
OMG!!!! This just brings a humongous smile to my face & a huge surge of memories & nostalgia!!!! I can just hear Wild Bill doing his Yee-Haw!!! YOOOO JOOOE!!!
This unboxing video made my rainy day bright! Wasn't expecting NF Crazy Legs to be my next favorite joe figure. Keep up the excellent work Lenny and the team that designs these haslabs.
Great work guys. This was a lot to unpack and do on camera. You guys did a great job of getting me even more excited for this set. Really looking forward to its release.
This Helicopter looks amazing, and you can see how much care and attention to detail went into it. From extra sticker accessories to the display stand, great job to the GI-Joe team! Makes me hunger for a LAAT Republic Gunship for the Black Series!
I'm glad I backed this! I'm really looking forward to it! This is my first Haslab backing but last fall I found a Razorcrest and I must say, these pieces may be a little pricy but the level of detail, thought and attention in these are just beyond expectations! Even down to the packaging details and forethought. Haslab really does it right on these projects!
The box and unit copter are a fantastic collectors item for those who remember gi joe from the green plastic soldier start toys, good luck, great showing.
So cool, happy to backed this. Awesome project, what I really like and enjoy is the design of the figures packaging together. I like to get this again for other projects in the future.
18:00 Those are 70mm Hydra rocket pods. The two big white missiles are Sidewinders and the 4 pack of missiles under the wing hardpoints are Hellfire missiles.
Also, thank you for taking the time to get this perfect. I want my toys just as fast as the next collector, but I'll happily wait all the time necessary to get everything just right!
I am glad it is painted instead of having to put a bunch of decals on that will deteriorate over time. Especially for the cost it is awesome to see they made sure you get your money's worth. I wish I wasn't too late to get in on the run but I have heard rumors of the Rattler, so I am excited for that too.
I'm no fan of the classified line but the 1/18 scale community got everything and then some. So boys lets step aside and allow the classified brothers to enjoy this moment. Here's to you Classified brothers!!!!!
Dear Lenny, congrats to the project, fantastic work, you and your team are awesome, can't wait to see this package in person! Thank you so much! Hugs from Hungary!🐍🐍🐍
It's a very nice piece.......... one suggestion that was a missed opportunity: They should have included an interchangeable effect instead of the stationary propellers that almost would look like a circular, disk like effect of the rotors spinning like in mid flight. That effect would have been awesome. No doubt some 3rd party like Ramen toy will make it.
I'm 62 years old and this video is making me teary I can't believe how cool this is and I can't believe I missed out on it but that was my mistake by being hesitant joining Hasbro pulse in the beginning actually was my first time ever to join something like this I suppose why I was hesitant...
The only criticism I have of this is Glenda's facial expression. She has this look of disdain, possibly just tired? Can't wait to get this in-hand! Great job guys!
My dream come true with this Classified Dragonfly! Love the original and this one is truly incredible! Look forward to getting it soon along with the figures!🔥🔥🔥
Flash's Backpack comes with Glenda !!! Flash is the laser Rifle Trooper. Grand slam was with the jetpack jump (1983)and the Heavy Artillery Laser !!! Easy to get Flash and Grandslam confused, they both had the same outfit !!! The Dragonfly is awesome, got mine today !!!
Hate I missed the other two Haslab products, but will receive this one. Wish I could get the other two, but looking forward to displaying this in my house.
This shows me that as big as this thing is. A skystriker would not be too big and should be added to classified. If we choose 1/12. We should do a haslab skystriker. Especially with how good this dragonfly turned out
That rotating tip with vents at the end of the tail boom is the NOTAR (NO TAil Rotor) equivalent of the conventional tail rotor system. Both tail rotor and NOTAR systems provide yaw control/stability to the chopper.
You guys have outdone yourselves on this one! Sad I had to miss out on it. I will NOT be missing out on the....Rattler?? Please, oh please, oh please!!!!!
Wow, this came out beautifully. I would have backed in a heartbeat but having just backed the Ghost, I had to pass on it. But man, those who did are in for a treat! Very cool chopper.
I'm so happy I got this! Ripcord was my first joe, then I got the dragon fly. So Ripcord was my copilot for a few months until I got fully into Joes as a kid (was still into star wars until I fully got into Joes.
Lenny...the rotating tail end is for the anti rotational thrust. Basically to keep the helo from spinning the same direction as the rotor in real life. The black rocket pods are just that. Loaded with 2.75" unguided Hydra rockets. Can't wait to get my Dragonfly.
Really looking forward to this! I got into collecting Classifieds a bit later in the game so I'm so annoyed I missed out on the HISS Tank! I was able to back the Dragonfly before the campaign ended though. I really hope that there will be re-release of the individual figures eventually because I'm missing 99, 100, and 101. I have pretty much everything else up to 118 at this point.
I'm 45 years old and I'm so excited watching this and going back to my childhood memories. Thank you so much guys.
My friend I’m 37 and still watching the cartoons..,
I’m 49 and loving every minute of this. Still watch the cartoons too! Looking forward to receiving my Dragonfly… now I just need to make room for it! 😅
44 and you damn right 😂. Still watch the toon on UA-cam and just bought issue #1 of Scarlett! Great time to be alive ✌🏾
I'm 46 and this was one of my favorite toys growing up...I kick myself for passing on it
So am I indeed. How beautiful toys and loving memories.
The worst thing about watching these unboxing is the fact that EVERY TIME I WATCH ONE I hate myself for only backing one. Great job Hasbro Joe team! Bravo!
I said the same thing
I get it. The excitement dies down with time.
Yea I only back one too 😢
You said it perfectly!!! SMDH!!!
Mark are you going to do a review?

I think the pods are specifically Hydra rockets.
calm down there, Larry Hama.(j/k)
Same here, 68S
they could have been SIDEARMS (AGM-122) which were retooled C model sidewinders with diffeerent seeker heads intended for short range anti-radar application
The Joe team is the template for these things. Unbelievable product, figures, and package as a whole!! Bring on the Rattler guys!
Hell yeah 🔥

04:34 Lenny dropping the hint of the next Haslab! 🎉🎉🎉 "Jet" confirmed
I heard too!!!!
Night Raven 😊
Nah, its not the Rattler. We are all going to be surprised.
@@thinktwice3211 Its the Rattler
@@6thElementOfHipHop Thats your guess.
Glad I have a G.I. Joe room to have this in
lol facts!!!😂🤙🏻
OUTSTANDING!!! The Haslab team hit another one out of the park! I am so glad I was able to back this. I can't wait to have it in hand. A big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen.
Wild Bill looking like Kurt Russel from Tombstone...perfect 😂
“You tell ‘em I’m coming and hell’s coming with me!”
You guys nailed it PERIOD!!!
That Ripcord is gonna sell like hotcakes when they do the classic version. What an awesome figure.
Ripcord is my second favorite Joe. I can't wait to get the original recipe version.
As great as this is, the best surprise to me was seeing Flash's laser rifle and backpack. Major nostalgia wave for me right there!
As someone who works at a technical college specifically focused on Aerospace, I really love this. It will look great in my office, both as a toy, but also as something that our faculty can appreciate.
This looks really really good! Even nicer than the original. The design is so much closer to the real Army Cobra or Navy Sea Viper Helicopters.
And that helicopter that dragonfly I can't find the words to describe this work of art it is too cool for words😊😊😊
OMG!!!! This just brings a humongous smile to my face & a huge surge of memories & nostalgia!!!! I can just hear Wild Bill doing his Yee-Haw!!! YOOOO JOOOE!!!
Would very much LOVE to see the Dragonfly next to the H.I.S.S. Tank for a comparative look.
This unboxing video made my rainy day bright! Wasn't expecting NF Crazy Legs to be my next favorite joe figure. Keep up the excellent work Lenny and the team that designs these haslabs.

That ripcord looks so sick!!
Love all of this! Glenda with the helmet on is giving me Corporal Ferro vibes from Aliens. "In the pipe, five by five."
What does that saying mean? I never understood it even after all these years later.
@@michaelgomez1499 Basically, "We're on course, read you loud and clear.". But, lets face it, pilot jargon sounds WAY cooler! :D

So cool, happy to backed this. Awesome project, what I really like and enjoy is the design of the figures packaging together. I like to get this again for other projects in the future.
Box art makes me think of Apocalypse Now
I can't believe he said Grand Slam. It's FLASH!
Love this! Great work Lenny, Emily and BMac! Love what you guys are putting out lately! Lots of great work
18:00 Those are 70mm Hydra rocket pods. The two big white missiles are Sidewinders and the 4 pack of missiles under the wing hardpoints are Hellfire missiles.

It is beyond awesome😊😊😊 awesome Beyond awesome beyond anything awesome that awesomeness has to offer😊😊😊
You two did a great job!!! Love the toy chemistry and dialog between you two! Keep up the great work!
I am glad it is painted instead of having to put a bunch of decals on that will deteriorate over time. Especially for the cost it is awesome to see they made sure you get your money's worth. Kinda wish we were getting Glenda in the Nightforce deco as well.

It would be so beautiful if I could get one so beautiful indeed😊😊😊
Ah snap! Very nice…mixed feelings on Wild Bill’s demotion from CW4 to LT but true to the classic toy fo sho.
This is absolutely excellent. Thanks for sharing!
The only criticism I have of this is Glenda's facial expression. She has this look of disdain, possibly just tired? Can't wait to get this in-hand! Great job guys!
She looks like she wants to speak to a manager!
Looks spectacular! Can't wait to get it in hand! Keep up the good work Joe team!
Ripcord and Crazy Legs both look fantastic!
Oh I can’t wait thanks guys!!!!
Lovely. The attention to detail on their products is always nice to see. Jeeze, do I dare even take this out of the box when it arrives?

OMG! I can't wait!!!! The unboxing isn't even half way through, but I had to say that. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Soooooo. When do we get a sniff at those “associated” dragonfly figures? Is there a fire team or some type of accessory pack?
This is so good, so glad i backed one. Amazing job well done Joe Team!!!
Zombie fly? Now I want two or three 😮
One of those stand stickers is going on my truck!
I'm so happy I got this! Ripcord was my first joe, then I got the dragon fly. So Ripcord was my copilot for a few months until I got fully into Joes as a kid (was still into star wars until I fully got into Joes.
Wild Bill looks awesome

Awesome guys, but u did forget to put Wild bill in the cockpit.👍👍.Can’t wait to get mine in hand. The yellow fins are going black for me.
Super hyped for everything so amazing to see it all! However Flash had the Laser rifle not Grand Slam 😅
Lenny...the rotating tail end is for the anti rotational thrust. Basically to keep the helo from spinning the same direction as the rotor in real life.

I caught that move at 40:33 - 40:46. My wish was granted and the mainline RIP CORD will be a deluxe figure with a functional parachute.
