Good to know. Have you also tried Bitpay debit card (Visa)?
I really need to be blogging out your videos and then twittering them. There is so much content, I feel bad I am just seeing your stuff now for the most part dude LOL.
I always like the videos cause of the cool music that goes along with your intros and the information is also very helpful to a newby. Keep up the good work. P.S. the price of Bitcoin surpassed gold today, Whohoo!!!
Thanks so much, glad to have you here!
what are feess like please and is it only bitc?
Hey Paul - if you are making transactions in the native currency of the card (Euros in this case) then there are no transactions fees. If you use an ATM to take out cash you unfortunately get hit with a 3 Euro fee, and if you are using the card for purchases in another currency then you get hit with a 3% forex fee.
Of course these fees are not ideal, but if you live in an area where you can get a card that converts to your local currency, you can then spend your bitcoin for essentially no fees. I recently went to England with a Wirex Bitcoin/British Pound card and was able to pay for most of my trip without worry about fees. These cards are great for travel.
talisepman90 fees are ridiculous charge me $40 to move $159
I hate the music 😂
Is this only in Europe or USA as well? So can someone in the US order this card and be able to use it in USA? please share/ thanks
hey just liked and subscribed very interesting and informative and great for people looking to transaction and listing the pros and cons throughout the video is a great bonus
good for beginners too
I'm gonna get a Uquid card. I'm also planning a trip to Asia soon. Does it matter if I load my card with XRP, ETH or BTC? What option did that atm give you? Thanks.
Has anyone tried singing up for this card using a phony name and SSN? I say this because I know when singing up, it asks for this information and for people who actually used their real names and SSN then the IRS can track their BTC earnings in USD and tax their a*s later. Thus, for anyone who has successfully been able to sing up for the card using a fake name and SSN but used an address where they can still receive the card, then there is no real way for them to be tracked exactly and are somewhat safer from the IRS or government for that matter. If there is anyone who has tried this please comment and let me know, thanks :)
Gr8 vid thnjs again .. happy days to you both .👏✌️
Hey, you should do a video on the new Brave web browser, which integrates Bitcoin micropayments!
v great suggestion! That's actually on my radar as something I wanted to cover :) I suppose it's time to start testing it out more!
Good luck! Just discovered your channel and I've been working my way through your videos.
This is Jesus' BTC wallet. You know what to do.

Thanks
Did you ever do a video on this? Either way it's still a good time to make one since their ICO just ended - I don't really consider it a "crowdsale" with so few people able to participate, and then with the majority of coins being bought by an even smaller number. But I do dig the idea of it, and I have used the browser recently although prefer Chrome...The developer has a great resume ( JavaScript and Mozilla ) ... I guess time will tell lol. Lots of things to consider these days more than ever, so I'm loving your videos thanks for the great info!
how about a private key (:
Why would you be spending btc? Wait a few years as the value is rising compared to the dollar and products and services the dollar can buy. Use your paper currency to spend and save your BTC.
Is there a card like this this I can buy and use in canad that site says they will not send to canada ?
Appreciate the information. I'm new to Bitcoin.
Cool info. Fruity glasses
LOL I'll take that as a compliment.
The grinch without a mask.
Funny end to the video, Ben. ;) Question, though: Did you try to look up any Bitcoin ATMs in Hong Kong to see if they were cheaper for acquiring HKD?
Ha thanks :)
Unfortunately I didn't have much time to check out bitcoin ATMs in Hong Kong. I'm in Vietnam now, and the next major city I hit is Ho Chi Minh, which has one. I'm gonna try to hit that one up :)
THANKS BRO FOR SHARE !!! GOOD LUCK
Bitwala is dead. You can get an anonymous virtual visa card from Satoshily and spend online, without ID checks. Click "virtual visa" on your account homepage.

Thanks for the video. I am trying to get schooled on how to use my new Bitpay visa debt card. Loading it from Coinbase would be nice. O K I will keep looking. Meantime I am going to subscribe as I need contact with people that know how to do the Bitcoin card thing.
DisneyLand HK was such a letdown when I visited last year. I could have spent my money elsewhere.
You deleted your interview with Kenn Bosak?
Thats pretty cool, I'll try it out
And does it also work online? You know for sites that only accept credit cards but not bitcoin?
computerdude323 It does actually! I've connected it to some of my renewing memberships like Netflix and Xbox live as well. They've also introduced a mobile app since I made this video, which is pretty nice.
BTC Sessions neat, thank you
Personally, I can't grow a beard. You're a very likable guy. Thanks for the info
0.63 BITCOIN = 7.56 extra BITCOIN

Have you tried Cryptopay? I have signed up for that card :)
ben why didnt you just withdraw it in euro cash .. then go to an actual money exchanger, most of the time you get more bang for your buck
What are Bitwala's plans for expanding their service to the U.S., and dealing with USD?
I guess this is a question that should be aimed at Bitwala, but I just thought someone might know off hand.
I'm currently unsure about that. I'm up in Canada, so I'd love to see them add CAD support as well. It looks like they have a basket of services in regards to international money transfers and paying bills online with bitcoin, so I'm hopeful that they'll open up to other local currencies.
We're working on it, but can't provide an ETA yet. Stay tuned!
Bitwala Thanks for chiming in and sharing the video on twitter. I look forward to trying more of your solutions out again in the future!
OK, thanks! Looking forward to you operating in the US.
Heyy, any updates on this??
what is your fav bitcoin debitcard
Where can I get/apply for this card
Is Paycent a VISA bitcoin card?
Hi you got very good video for introduce btc, do you think it will be great if you can make a video that can show how btc can be profitable or how you gain on btc? =) Thank u
No way you could do this hammered!
I can try! LOL
does youtube pay you in bitcoin?
Hi, I'm Canadien too, but French.... yes yes yes how know . We Can't born all parfect lol just joking. But my question is... This card is to use my bitcoin for buying stuff like a normal debit card??? Do it will exchange automaticly?? If i anderstand, I take my btc from my btc wallet and end to my btc debit card account and then use my card anyware??? And i don't anderstand what it said bellow for canadien. Can I use it yess or no ??? Thanks for all ... :)
Hey yes you're right, you can use it anywhere in Canada, and actually anywhere that accepts Visa. There are a couple things to note though.
1. You have to pre-load the card with bitcoin, and it will be converted into Euros (which the card is denominated it). I do this through the Bitwala app on my phone now, though you can still do it the way I do in the video as well. It's a much quicker process now too. Typically it takes 30 mins or less.
2. When using this card in Canada you're stuck paying a 3% fee for your purchases because it's converting Euros to CAD. This is unfortunate, but I believe pretty soon there will be cards from other companies that offer CAD.
I hope this helps!
How is this the better then a credit card? Can someone elaborate more on that,
If you're using it in the native currency of the card (Euros) then regular purchases are free. So I suppose the best use case would be for international travel. I get paid at home in Bitcoin. If I travel to Europe and use this card, I can avoid changing money at the bank, therefore avoiding forex fees. I did this in England with another card this past May. Instead of $30-$60 to exchange my Canadian cash, I switched over Bitcoin into 1000 british pounds and it only cost me about $4.
Friend send plastic to colombia ?
Currently what's the best card for people living in canada?
hamza houdini honestly there's not really a great option if you're spending IN Canada because none of the cards convert to Canadian dollars, so you'll get hit with fees. That being said, I really like Wirex. You can get a US dollar card which is great for trips down to the States.
okey great thanks 😀but if I buy online I don't have to paye fees for cad dollar?
hamza houdini if you're paying via a US website with US dollars then you'll pay no fees :)
Thanks again Keep going love your vids 💪👊
I like those Debit Cards but mot of them want to see ID
I'm in Nova Scotia and I'm really looking for plastic for my Bitcoin, without the charges... Any suggestions?
Unfortunately for us Canadians there are no cards available denominated in CAD as of yet, but I think a couple are on the horizon. I asked Bitpay and Coinbase about their Visa cards, which they both said will eventually be available up here. I think the first one for Canada may end up being from a company called Shakepay. Right now they only have virtual cards, but once they're out of beta I think they'll have a physical card, as well as the ability to use tap with your phone. Hopefully that happens soon!
Well that sounds like a plan at least. Keep everyone interested posted please.
Çhris Koylass will do!
is it safer than the paper wallet?
A paper wallet and this are actually quite different things. Paper wallets are typically used for long-term storage of funds offline. A product like the Bitwala card is meant to be used as a regular way of spending and moving around your funds.
If done properly, your funds on a paper wallet should be much more secure as the private keys would have never been on a device connected to the internet. I believe Bitwala is still a secure platform though. Just a totally different use case.
how does this work with the price of bc going up and down .
The market fluctuates because of people buying and selling the coin.
Worst place to make a video. Public place full of noise.
is this still working?
hey my friend,, can I use there debit card in EEUU USA?
Yes absolutely. You can use it anywhere that takes Visa. Just keep in mind that when you use it outside of the EU, there's a conversion fee of 3%, which is pretty large.
the music was distracting
Waiting the BCCPAY.
Hi @BTC Sessions, I have been trying to get a bitcoin card that can ship to Nigeria, yet to find any, do you have an idea?
Hey there! To tell you the truth I don't think there is a Visa Debit card available in your area yet. All the ones I've seen are only available in USD, GBP or EUR, and they only ship to certain countries. That being said, I've seen a lot of companies popping up in the past few years, so hopefully they start to expand more!
I think right now there may be a few Nigerian Bitcoin exchanges (though I haven't checked to see how legitimate they are) and besides that you can always use Local Bitcoins. Sorry that I wasn't much help, but I'm not too familiar with the bitcoin scene down in Nigeria!
BTC Sessions thinks, there are quite a number of local exchanges like bit . com, nairaex.com, hope to get to the stage of having debit card someday. I can't wait....
Yeah absolutely. I'm patiently waiting for a company to create one denominated in CAD. Right now if I want to use a card in a foreign currency I get dinged with a 2-3% conversion fee.
What I'm REALLY waiting for is a bitcoin wallet in my phone where I can just use tap and instantly convert bitcoin to whatever the local currency is at the point of sale. A guy can dream, right? Haha
Will you get a credit score with this.
Ethan K. No, it's a debit card. You only improve your credit score with credit cards.
it it 2019 now... does this card still work?
non !scammm
There is actually a third case
people can use it for money laundering
Ajax Edm ha that would be ill-advised, considering that you provide personal information to Bitwala and transactions on the bitcoin blockchain are traceable.
watta great vid, nothing like washing
very informative
Thanks a bunch!
Does this have Tap n Pay?
Unfortunately it doesn't. I'm hoping that a tap option comes out soon, ideally that I can use right from my phone. I know that a company called ShakePay has been working on that, but it seems they've disabled tap in their Beta until further notice. I'm sure it's just a matter of time until we see something like that though!
The only reason I purchased from shakepay was for the TnP feature. I believe it's legal matters that has disabled shakepay's TnP and not a coding issue. Either way they won't say. I believe visa has a copywrite/trademark on tap n pay!
Peter Murphy brutal. Nothing like copyright law to stifle innovation!
I purchased the virtual visa that comes on my phone. Without the Tap n pay features no business wants to punch in all numbers by hand.
do you mine bitcoins
Unfortunately mining has become very specialized, so it wouldn't be profitable for me. You currently need very expensive equipment and cheap/free power to be a successful miner. The rising value of BTC has been much kinder to me than if I had tried mining.
KISHAN SOLANKE no he doesn't.
hey there u say in a video that u r Canadian , i a Canadian too so how match fee do u pay if u use it on daily base in Canada ? like for gas ?
I would say that it doesn't make a lot of sense for daily usage in Canada unless you're a die-hard BTC fan and are using it for the ideals. You're going to be paying a 3% conversion fee for every transaction until they have a CAD denominated card available.
Also, I've since learned that getting gas can be tricky. Don't use the card for a pre-authorization at the pump, as it can mess with your balance. You won't actually lose the money, but your app will read your balance incorrectly. If you need to use it for gas then I would recommend paying in the store beforehand. I haven't run into troubles with any other transactions though.
thank u
Just fraud. I create an account and I verify as well by email but now I can not sing in to account with same information, system said as like cardinal is not matching. How funny. They provide debit card too, it is just joking. Do not believe their promotion. Shit the off now
I like it
Very nice video. Now I understand what it means to win in bitcoin mining, Mr. Samuel Raphael has an intriguing strategy that cuts down losses and ensures winnings always.
How can i get in touch with him?
Bitcoin mining is for real, just made 1.2 btc with Mr Samuel Raphael amazing strategy, considering the huge profits generated 20% commission seems very fair
@@marypatricia222
I started investing with Sir Samuel platform last month and i wish i have started my investment a long time ago.
la video est trop cool comment avoir la carte visa
I'm going to copy and paste this part in every fucking bit pay video I see.
So we need to build a card. Allow that card to communicate with trezor.. offline... Or nano.. offline.. Swipe with a card through a swiper enter your pin off line. Load funds directly from your trezor to your card for what you need for the day. Don't use these cards. Only spend bitcoins when business start loosing to amazon who excepts it they will be forced to except it as well.use your job to pay for your everyday needs or trade Bitcoin to friends and have them buy you stuff. Goddamn..
Lol if only this guy realized how much bitcoin would be worth in December 2017...
Van Ryan tell me about it...
Hope you still have some
