So Eddie now that they are changing the staking rates you can only stake up to 3 months so if you started now you would have to upgrade to the 5000 cro stake after the 3 months correct?
@@markyymarknft6662 no it’s only if you decide to withdraw/unstake or change your card privileges. You can restake after 3 months indefinitely, essentially somewhat compounding (just a little) your interest on a quarterly basis.

Yeah it really is a future card to be honest. Fiat currencies in many countries due to this pandemic probably only have a few years left before those systems collapse due to hyper inflation. Crypto (especially limited supply ones like Bitcoin or Zachary) will retain or gain value in those situations. Having a method to spend that currency when your fiat is worthless will be immensely important to the continued flow of society and survival for yourself. Very exciting stuff

It’s not on every purchase. All that happens is the amount in purchases plus amount in balance is compared against the amount you put in at the beginning. If that’s more than the amount of money you moved directly into that account, only then did you realize any gain, and a portion of the difference is taxed

This isnt even credit - it is just accessing my own money. Inexcusable. Support is just chatbots and emails that take a week for a reply. Didn't realise there was a limit/month that you can top up your visa card. Have had to wait a week and a half for the start of next month so I can top up my card and use it, sigh.
In case you haven’t found your answer you instantly get your card when you hit that “stake” button on the CRO tokens :) Don’t know how long it takes to receive the physical card tho as only just applied for mine today. Looking forward to using mine!

Hi Eddie! I’m about to sign up and include you for the referral. Just two questions. I have been reading everywhere including the website and couldn’t find: 1) The stake gets 6% interest 2) After 6 months if you keep your stake your get automatically upgraded. My thought was to start with the card with just the free Spotify and then after 6 months get the automatic upgrade to get the free Spotify and Netflix.
Hey Justin! If you start off with the red card, later on you’ll have to stake the difference to get the indigo blue/ jade green. Overall, you get a higher interest-rate with the indigo/jade. Sorry, wasn’t sure what your question was ~ Let me know if you have any other questions!
Let’s say your purchasing something with btc, are you selling the btc then paying with usd? If you are, are you required to pay the capital gains tax for purchasing something with the card?
Not yet, you could essentially have enough passive income to actually pay bills and groceries totally tax free from those interests :O but i think as more people are getting into this, it might not last like that for long

You won’t earn interest on the CRO staked for the visa cards, this is information coming directly from a customer agent I spoke with today. The CRO you stake for a visa card only grants you access to the benefits of the card you choose. Future staked CRO aside from the staked once for visa card, will then benefit from the interest percentage granted from the chosen card tier. Dont know were you've gotten the info about interest on the card staked CRO from Eddie, but it aint right.

You had me almost sold on getting on this platform as I definitely want a one-stop-shop experience, but now someone needs to make a video that makes sense as to WHY I would use an asset that can gain in value (crypto currency) and buy something that will not gain value, like a pair of jeans. Also, if Bitcoin changes so drastically how will I feel after using the credit card and the rate just changes to where either myself and the shop are getting screwed. Some people daytrade and want an easy way to use their gains. If you make about $100 a day trading you may want to use some of that money without having to sell the crypto, take a fee, and then transfer it to your account occurring ANOTHER fee, and then waiting days for the money to be available.

Do we have to keep the initial CRO amount for whatever tier we choose staked forever in order to take advantage of the benefits - or just keep staked for 6 months and then unstake the CRO while srill maintaining the benefits? You have to keep the CRO staked to maintain your perks. If you have a profit, you can unstake, take the profit and stake again to keep the perks. But a new 180d period will begin.
From what I'm reading on the card details it says: "After the holding period, you can transfer your tokens back to your account, no strings attached". But there seems to be a checkbox for staking and non-staking benefits. Basically you get to keep the card, but if you don't stake you lose most of the benefits (e.g. Spotify) and CRO rewards go down. My question would be...What happens if CRO price drops causing you to be below the stake amount; will you lose your benefits even though you initially staked above that amount?

It took mine 3 months and they said i entered my address wrong..... I autofilled it with my phone (I doubt it arbitrarily changed 1 digit on my house number) now they want me to pay a $50 re-issue fee

They keep dropping the interest they pay and I can't take advantage of the exchange (the 50% off sales on coins they do) which isn't their fault but still pisses me off. And I get charged a 3.5% foreign currency exchange fee on top of the 3.5 % debit/ credit fee because they don't directly accept USD. They also told me that I wouldn't be charged that anymore after the first time..... once again bullshit..... but the good news i haven't topped off their piece of crap card so they haven't gotten their $50 re-issue fee and they email me at least once a week asking for it. Eventually I will want to use the damn card and will have to but in the mean time they can wait ......just like I had to
How can I change my currency it seems to be set on euro on the fiat, I did go in to set up a new currency but it did not give me other currencies to choose from only the euro.

You won’t earn interest on the CRO staked for the visa cards, this is information coming directly from a customer agent I spoke with today. The CRO you stake for a visa card only grants you access to the benefits of the card you choose. Future staked CRO aside from the staked once for visa card, will then benefit from the interest percentage granted from the chosen card tier.
Dont know were you've gotten the info about interest on the card staked CRO from Eddie, but it aint right.
Plus now, CRO has gone up to .14 which along with the 5,000 CRO requirement puts the upfront cost at $745 USD!? Too rich for me

You had me almost sold on getting on this platform as I definitely want a one-stop-shop experience, but now someone needs to make a video that makes sense as to WHY I would use an asset that can gain in value (crypto currency) and buy something that will not gain value, like a pair of jeans. Also, if Bitcoin changes so drastically how will I feel after using the credit card and the rate just changes to where either myself and the shop are getting screwed. I still can't wrap my head around the integration of crypto currency in a fiat world.
Some people daytrade and want an easy way to use their gains. If you make about $100 a day trading you may want to use some of that money without having to sell the crypto, take a fee, and then transfer it to your account occurring ANOTHER fee, and then waiting days for the money to be available.

Do we have to keep the initial CRO amount for whatever tier we choose staked forever in order to take advantage of the benefits - or just keep staked for 6 months and then unstake the CRO while srill maintaining the benefits? I'm thinking as soon as we unstake the CRO (even if done after 6 months) we lose the benefits? Can someone clarify?
Pretty sure you can unstake after 6 months. That way they can give you the opportunity to upgrade your card too.
You have to keep the CRO staked to maintain your perks. If you have a profit, you can unstake, take the profit and stake again to keep the perks. But a new 180d period will begin.
From what I'm reading on the card details it says: "After the holding period, you can transfer your tokens back to your account, no strings attached". But there seems to be a checkbox for staking and non-staking benefits. Basically you get to keep the card, but if you don't stake you lose most of the benefits (e.g. Spotify) and CRO rewards go down. My question would be...What happens if CRO price drops causing you to be below the stake amount; will you lose your benefits even though you initially staked above that amount?

It took mine 3 months and they said i entered my address wrong..... I autofilled it with my phone (I doubt it arbitrarily changed 1 digit on my house number) now they want me to pay a $50 re-issue fee

@@dave1976lyons add in the fact I was a royal indigo/ jade green staker(back when it was MCO @$3000) I have 10 more days left. They keep dropping the interest they pay and I can't take advantage of the exchange (the 50% off sales on coins they do) which isn't their fault but still pisses me off. And I get charged a 3.5% foreign currency exchange fee on top of the 3.5 % debit/ credit fee because they don't directly accept USD. They also told me that I wouldn't be charged that anymore after the first time..... once again bullshit..... but the good news i haven't topped off their piece of crap card so they haven't gotten their $50 re-issue fee and they email me at least once a week asking for it. Eventually I will want to use the damn card and will have to but in the mean time they can wait ......just like I had to

Do I have to Purchase and Hold the CRO for the card in one transaction? For example I already own 100 CRO, can I buy slowly and after I have enough CRO just stake it for the card or it has to be done in one big purchase of the exact amount of cro needed for the card?

Hey JP. You have to stake 400$ worth of CRO, so if you already have the CRO, you can stake for the card without having to purchase.

It is not letting me send crypto to another wallet, says an email has been sent to me but it has not. I have tried at least 10 times, so tried withdrawing to my bank but transactions with GBP is temporarily down. Would a card help me get my funds out? Please help
I tried buying on here but every time my money came out and immediately went back into my bank. My bank said there was no reason for this and on their end and everything was fine yet I was unable to buy from Crypto.com.

There's a huge list of restricted merchants for the cashback scheme. Casinos are on that list so no cashback.
I think on some casino sites you have to play with the deposited funds to be able to withdraw the money so there is some risk involved

It looks great but I’m still not sure because I’m thinking the benefits might get soaked up by the mining/conversion fees when you buy or receive or sell the tokens. Have you done any wider analysis comparing standard fiat debit card vs this crypto card in terms of overall profit when making the same purchases for a week?
