Title should have been. Peace sells, but who's playing. What a miss
Doh!!! I can still change it!! That’s brilliant. Thanks!
Here’s what I’m gonna do with that idea. I’ll make another video. But I will switch the audio. For example, you’ll see Marty, but I will have one of the other guys audio beneath. Peace Sells… But Who’s Playing??? You dig??!? Another guy came up with that idea in the comments of my Tornado of Souls Video. But your idea for the title is PERFECT!!!
Excelent video, I liked it. :D
And what about Jeff Young, isn't he playing Peace Sells? Please, can you do the video with In My Darkest Hour?
Thanks man! I forgot about Jeff Young. I’ll add In My Darkest Hour to my list. Please Like, Subscribe, Share, and Hit the Notification’s Bell if you haven’t already!!
NOBODY CAN play Chris Poland solos, but you missed Jeff Young and Glen Drover versions.
But anyway, for me Jeff Young and Teemu were the only guys who nailed Poland solos in general.
I know. I couldn’t find any suitable videos of Glen. Honestly, I forgot about Jeff. 😬😬😬

@@shotgunndunn That concert in Argentina has some cool versions.
@@shotgunndunnWill the 2005 live in Argentina get you copyrighted?
Only one way to find out! Most likely. They released their claim on most of my MegadetH videos. What do you want to see from that video?
@@shotgunndunn well... I thought it would be fun to see the clips from there of Glenn playing the solos of Holy Wars and Peace Sells and add them to the respective videos :)
I like how Chris didn't even try that crazy lick that Poland does at 2:53
Marty and Teemu nailed it for me. Both captured the same feel as the album. Al had some cool stuff of his own going which gave it a new spin. Broderick was good but I don't care for his tone. Kiko was amazing as well. You can definitely hear his jazz influence shining through, but it lacked that feel that Chris Poland had. Teemu would be my choice for best played overall.
I agree especially about Broderick. His tone is just awful! I believe that really affects his feel. And lack thereof. Teemu is quite impressive. I LOVE Kiko. Al has amazing tone!! I never cared for Poland’s style. Like a squared leg in a round hole.

Hangar 18 next? I really wanna see a comparison in that!
Fo sho!! I’m still searching good enough footage of all of the players that Dave has had. I REALLY want Lucretia. I only have Marty and I think Chris for that one. Still digging!!
Marty Friedman🔥

That solo is a Chris solo... not Broderick! That's a heavy bleus solo only Poland can play!
Marty Rules!!!!!!

Marty is the best megadeth's guitarist
what no glen drover😂
Surprisingly I couldn’t find any suitable content of him playing this. 🤷🏻♂️
- In my mind, the way that Marty plays live is the one that got stuck in my mind (besides the original). He is the man... and there is no argument.
- I completely agree that Pitrelli is underrated, his solos in TWNAH were a perfect fit for Megadeth... Jeff Young for me is the one that should never be on Megadeth (IMO).
- You could use the Drover solos on the Argentina 2005 concert (That One Night Live). His vibrato and style are unique!
- I completely disagree that Broderick is overrated. I think he represented a turnover on Megadeth solos, after Pitrelli and Drover, setting the band on a new Plateau. After him, I could see that you could be a great solo guitar player with accurate technique and composition.
- Kiko is a master! Composition, technique, stage presence. A big loss for the band...
- Teemu is the new Jeff Young for me. I am still not into that guy... (lol)
Broderick in MegadetH is overrated. Not Broderick in general. He’s a monster!!!

Kiko reminds me of Zakk Wylde's tone on this one 🤟🏻
I think I can hear what you mean. He’s got that little bit of chorus effect on. Kiko is MUCH cleaner than Zakk though!!

Marty felt a bit like he's holding himself back on that one...
I liked Al this time! I think this solo suits him more than the Marty solos as it is bluesier in nature.
I saw the video of Glen playing that from 2005 (great Peace Sells graphic ESP on that one btw!), his aggressive style more so typical shredder type is actually really benificial on this song.
Chris has a bit of the same bug that bit Marty on this one that this solo doesn't really suit him, but he let himself a bit more loose and I like it. (btw he's not using stock Ibanez pickups on this one, it's the Dimarzio D-Activators he used before making custom versions. I think it is because of the amp he used)
Kiko really made an entire new interpretation! I love it!
Teemu is just so technical and sharp on this one! He can't hide his background in power metal :)
You should redo this video because it lacks the man himself Chris Poland you can use some of his newer footage with “Kings of Thrash” as opposed to the old ones (where you can barely see him) as nowadays he tries to be as accurate to the record as possible, back then he used to always improvise on the fly.
This video also lacks Jeff Young and Drover.
I’ll search for that! Thank you for your comment. Please Like, Share, Subscribe, and hit the Notification’s Bell if you haven’t already!!!
Marty Megadeth play the original....❤

he don't, Marty just can't play Chris stuff, he change a lot in other songs
lol broderick is the best lol fuck feeling lol
Right?!? All chops. Zero feel. Thank you for your comment. Please Like, Share, Subscribe, and hit the Notification’s Bell if you haven’t already!!!
Out of all the solos here, I think Chris Broderick's solo was the weakest one....
He's a monster guitar player and I think that was his downfall.
He had too much technical ability and not enough feel and soul in the playing.
I agree with your assessment of Chris. I do feel he was much better here than on Tornado of Souls in my other video. Thank you for your comment! Please Like, Subscribe, and hit the Notification’s Bell if you haven’t already!!!
