Monster Cretaceous Heteromorph Ammonite Tropaeum Bowerbanki, found while fossil hunting on the south coast of the Isle of Wight #ammonite #fossilhunting #isleofwight
Wow what a dream find, Love heteromorphs! Met you and the family in a field near Ilminster couple of weeks ago, bumped into this channel looking for prepping tips and thought you looked familiar. small world. 😅
Lol it was great to meet you the other week, we thought you were the farmer at first 🫣🤣🤣 Thank you for watching, these heteromorphs are a real love of mine and a real pain to prep 😬 I’ll be doing a video of prepping some illminster finds soon. What tools do you use to prep?
Nice, looking forward to see you prep some Ilminster stuff😀 I'm just using a Zoic Chicago for my prepping atm, but I'm thinking about getting a dremel multitool for doing the odd bit of sanding cutting and tidying up. @@WightFossilTours
.Incredible the knowledge you have to identify the rock that an Ammonite will have protected. The size of this is unbelievable. Blessings on your way my friend.
Hello my dear friend. Unfortunately, the microraptor cannot be bought in my country. I would be grateful for the opportunity to watch the video of it in disassembled form, so that I can make it myself. Or, if possible, a drawing with dimensions.
So sorry for late reply, we are all good thank you 😊 I wasn’t so good at the beginning of the year, hopefully I’ll be uploading again soon. Hope you are well?
@@WightFossilTours Hey, sir! Sorry to hear you’ve been through a rough patch, but hope things are looking up. Look forward to seeing some new content. I’ve been going through some hard times myself recently, health wise. But I’ve moved to a new place that will hopefully give me a better chance of recovering. Life is crazy sometimes, eh? Most of the time, actually. Thanks for the reply.
@@WightFossilTours indeed. Where I live in Texas the land was under water twice. It was during the Cretaceous Period and later on I think there may have been some during the Eocene as I have found some corals belonging to a newer time.
Fortunately the sea had snapped it into 2 pieces of I would have never managed to pick it up. I put the separate half’s in my bag and carried them up the cliff one at a time, each half was so heavy that I nearly didn’t get off the floor with my bag 🤣🤣 It’s 23”x22” check out my instagram page I shared a picture of it earlier
what happened to this channel ????? last video was year ago .has it died or creator is no longer active ???? i ask because i enjoy the video,s ,so annoying when you find a good channel ,and it seems dead :(
Hi Ray sorry for late reply. We are well thank you, I wasn’t doing to good at the beginning of the year but I’ll be uploading again soon 🌀🦕🦖⚒️ Hope you are well?
I had to leave a huge monster on the beach, I tried to get friends to help me but they were too chicken and were hugging the cliff almost crying for their mums 🙄😳🤣🤣
That’s some weight to carry well saved from the destruction of the sea . See my sea urchin post today on Instagram- I’m sure I am wearing the same shoes as your Ones 😁
Lol thank you 🙏 it was a light one at 36kg 😜🤣🤣 My shoes were a bargain at mountain warehouse 💪 and I get scouts discount in their stall. I’ll check out your post now, I did have a quick look earlier and thought wow, I wish we had them in the flint like yours 🤩
