I watched the entire series on this, VERY WELL DONE! I've been thinking about this very mod for a while on my truck. One minor thing I think I'd do in addition, at each wheel, I would so whatever had to be done to make the entire wheel well at each corner look as great as you've made the brakes look. Again, Thanks for a very well made and informative vid!
I feel like the video series could have been squished into one episode but overall, this was highly informational. Great tutorial, loud, clear and well put together. You did a great job man. Keep it up.
These are very good videos you make, great explaining of what your doing, lighting, sound, camera positions, etc etc. I'll be following your golf axle replacement video soon for mine! Keep up the good work sir. :-)
If you push the brake pedal in it will stop the fluid from leaking. You get the pedal holder on Amazon. This pointer came out of my Bentley manual..fyi. Thanks for the VID.
I mounted the calipers and hooked up the brake lines, but when I sprayed them down with brake cleaner as shown it stripped all my paint off! Now I gotta remove them and redo the paint job.
Hey I’m looking thru the comments , I’m trying to figure out where you get the caliper adapters for the accord , the links you have on the description don’t show where you got them or what particular adapters you got , please if you can help ? I’m in the process of upgrading my brakes !! 😬
I am sure the pins should pass above the two outer spring arms with the middle resting onthe pin. With the orientation you have it in the pin is doing the work so no nee for spring clip.
pins installed correctly. thats how they are from factory. no other way to install them. pinns also pass through brake pad metal backing(that how they are held in there)
Thanks for all the details! But why not stick with Honda/Acura rotors and use the ones for the 2015-2019 Acura TLX?? According to the specs they're 12.6 inches with a 64.1 Center Bore and same 5X114.3 bolt pattern. Wouldn't that have a better fitment than Nissan rotors??
The TLX rotors are smaller in diameter and thinner. The height is also less. Not only would they not perform as well. But there would also likely be fitment issues.
So do you need to bleed the brakes? What if I wanted to: Replace my brake lines remove and paint my calipers and reinstall them what order of operations here? love the vids!
I'd do it in this order. Clamp brake line. Remove caliper. Paint the caliper. Add the brake line to the removed caliper. Attach the caliper to the carrier which is on the hub. So at this point, you should have 1 brake line attached to the car, and your new one attached to the brake caliper. The next step you should do it quickly to reduce the amount of lost brake fluid. Remove the old line and replace it with the new one. Spray water on all of the parts that have loose brake fluid on them to prevent the paint from getting damaged. Bleed the brakes, and you're done :)
Great Video. I am doing the same thing to my 2015 ex l v6 coupe. I have the original 18x8 oem wheels, do you think I'm going to need a spacer for these to fit until i get new wheel?
I was trying to install my calipers onto my Dodge Neon only that latch spring was facing backwards. I thought, being new at this, somehow I installed the calipers incorrectly. Turns out that was not the case. In fact, the guys at Advanced Auto sold me the wrong part! But that wasn't really their fault either, as the discount part was erroneously saying this would fit my 2000 Neon. So, I had to upgrade to the more expensive deluxe caliper at a much heftier price. I was a bit upset about this as I had to bum a ride to their store to the parts swap and literallys start the entire install over again. Thus my whining paid off as these guys gave me a price break and split the difference between the first part and the second. The moral of the story: if anything weird happens to you - be cool how you talk to those busy dudes working behind the counter at your local auto parts store and you might get a price break like me.
Can I re use the same banjo bolt that was on the old caliper on to the RL caliper ? Or are they the same size ? If not ill reuse it and just change the washers .....
When you disassemble the pads from the rotor a few thin shims came out also (sorry, I called them spacers). When you reinstalled the pads the shims were a no show.
Hey!! Great Vid man!! i learned a lot. I have a 2009 Kia Spectra my question is will this work for my wheel set up? Plus i have a 4X114.3 bolt Patern. I have...BBS rims 17 Inch, Off Set 42, and 8 inch wide? Thanks man!! Love Your Videos Ricky
hi this very innovative your video, ask these caliper can be installed in a 2006 honda odyssey and buy parts have k I appreciate your help and congratulations for that amendment
After a while have you experienced "Squeaking" from your rotors? The inner ring of the rotor there's a gap that the brake does not touch and due to the rotors heating up that area absorbs all the heat which combined with the air and sometimes wate cause it to rust prematurely. Are you having those issue with your rotors? Can you post a photo update of the calipers and rotors on DA?
works fine with stock master cylinder. stainless lines help with that since they dont expand as much as regular rubber once. as long as you have it on all 4 corners
I have the same brakes, do your brakes ever squeak when the outside temp is cold? Mine squeak when its cold outside but after 5 min of driving it goes away, is this normal from brembos?
Well I used the new banjo bolt and copper washers that came with the new Stainless Steel lines, so yes. But every time you take the banjo bolt out, you should replace it with new copper washers :)
@Milanmastracci Awesome Video, what rotors are they Stop tech ? If so are they good rotors I been thinking of getting some Stoptech rotors but don’t no much about them
Hi, planning to buy 4-Piston Brake Calipers for my accord cd5 front. my wheels is 17 what is the good size for the calipers and rotors thats looks good not to small i want a looks bit bigger that goods for 17 inch i like your vids :)
The adapters that I have are only good for the front. Because the rear brakes have a hand brake, it isn't advised to install a set of brakes like this in back there.
Hey man love your vids. I just have a question. I'm purchasing a 2001 Nissan Maxima 5spd and I'm going to do the evo 8 brembo swap. But I wanted to know did u order stainless steel RL brake lines or are they universal. Also did u order aftermarket RL pads for the caliper or aftermarket pads for your Accord.
Lots of haters on here. Give the kid a brake. Make your own video. Showing your real brembos.
Give the kid a "brake". I see what you did there lol
Ha brake😂
I’m so glad you made a video about how to install wheel spacers 😂

Keep up the good work sir. :-)
I have an accord coupe 2011 I watch your videos like everyday just trying to make my coupe like yours good stuff man
If you push the brake pedal in it will stop the fluid from leaking. You get the pedal holder on Amazon. This pointer came out of my Bentley manual..fyi. Thanks for the VID.
super concise speaking and explanations. new sub. very nice man. I appreciate the way you go into detail.
I mounted the calipers and hooked up the brake lines, but when I sprayed them down with brake cleaner as shown it stripped all my paint off! Now I gotta remove them and redo the paint job.
Hi,
Great video and keep up the good work
Just wandering if you would know the colour of the
Brembo calipers.
Thank you
You explain everything so well. Thank you 🙏🏼
Glad you think so! Thanks Jeff 👊
Great camera focus and detail - terrific
Thanks Robert :)
you have done a good job brother...
Thanks man :)
Nice video wondering what size is the hub centering ring for the bigger rotor?
Great video nice and clear. Thanks from UK
Great series of videos; many thanks.

Great video! Would you happen to know how to install or any modifications needed to install TL type S brembo on the 8th gen accord coupe.
Thank You.... this was very helpful
If I upgrade my crappy factory single piston brakes to two or four piston calipers, do I need new brake booster too?
I am sure the pins should pass above the two outer spring arms with the middle resting onthe pin. With the orientation you have it in the pin is doing the work so no nee for spring clip.
pins installed correctly. thats how they are from factory. no other way to install them. pinns also pass through brake pad metal backing(that how they are held in there)
Hi Milan.. what are my options for 2016 honda civic.. I want bigger calipers to help with the stopping power and the look
Very good video it's helpful for me to do myself tq.
Well done mate. Thanks for your time.
Great job! Thanks for sharing your experience.

since this is a rotor upgrade as well, whats the hub/bore size on the new rotors?
So do you need to bleed the brakes?

your work is amazing!I am just doing this on my car, where can buy the 3m copper nbc? do you have a link?
ANY reputable auto supply.
Hey sir what kind of brake fluid did u use when u installed the big brakes?
Nice. Im loving your videos
Thanks Marvin :)
Great Video. I am doing the same thing to my 2015 ex l v6 coupe. I have the original 18x8 oem wheels, do you think I'm going to need a spacer for these to fit until i get new wheel?
Yes you will need a 15mm spacer to get it to clear the wheels
@@milanmastracci thanks!!
Good vid man im doing the same on my cobalt ss turbo
What break system do your recommend to go on the cheap for a 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T 5.7?
I was trying to install my calipers onto my Dodge Neon only that latch spring was facing backwards. I thought, being new at this, somehow I installed the calipers incorrectly. Bro u r the best
Can I re use the same banjo bolt that was on the old caliper on to the RL caliper ? Or are they the same size ? If not ill reuse it and just change the washers .....
Where did you get your fast brake kit to buy and what year RL calipers
Hi I have a 2015 for explorer sport do you think it possible to install brembo brakes
Niiiiice!!.... does that kit fit more yrs, what yr RL are they from??
Hey, what happen to the pad spacers. Great Job Buddy.
I'm not quite sure if I understand your question.
When you disassemble the pads from the rotor a few thin shims came out also (sorry, I called them spacers). When you reinstalled the pads the shims were a no show.
Hey Milan quick question, have you ever put a complete turbo kit in a car. If you have how hard is.
I haven't, however it isn't too difficult if you know how turbo's work, and what they need to work.
+milanmastracci so you think I could make a project car and add a turbo to a 2006 Mazda 3 2.3 without it blowing up
let me know how that goes if you do it ive got a 05 mazda 3
What brembo calliper are u using and disc and were did you get adapter

can you change to golf headlights into LED and make a video about that??
Hey I Shared Your Video! Good stuff Milan.
sorry i didnt see you had another vid showing the caliper install.
nice video man, do u know if I can upgrade my 2011 Honda Odyssey brakes ? which kit car brakes should I use?
Do you know the actual part number for the rotors the link is not coming up ty.
one tip though, always test fit your parts before removing the old part entirely.
nice thanks :D definetly got a new sub here.
Thanks man :)
Nice job dude !!!👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Thanks :)

What size wheels do you have on your car for the caliper to clear them?

If you are a member of Our8thGens on Facebook, put a post on there and I will show you a pic of them :)
+milanmastracci I'm not but I'll look for the group and comment there, thanks.
will this fit my Honda
possibly hahaha
Mighty car mods
Very informative!
Are you going to make a video about how to bleed the brakes?
Is there a website to buy them calipers. Please thank you
would've been nice at the end of the video if you displayed the final finishing product on the car
After I unplug the caliper and the brake fluid falls , where do I add more brake fluid or what do I do ?
I have a set of 2012 genesis brembo caliper . Can I fit them on my 2002 bmw 330ci ? And yes what do I need ?
Don't you need to replace the master cylender to get enough brake fluid pressure for the new callipers ?
works fine with stock master cylinder. stainless lines help with that since they dont expand as much as regular rubber once. as long as you have it on all 4 corners
mikhael kozik that's cool !
I have the same brakes, do your brakes ever squeak when the outside temp is cold? Mine squeak when its cold outside but after 5 min of driving it goes away, is this normal from brembos?
Have you inspected the brake pads? Make sure they aren't overhanging on the rotor. That could make the noise :)
Great tutorial! Subbed!
make a video rear brembo calipers change , because not so much video doing that . i like to change on my car but didnt find the clearest
Do you think those brembo brakes can fit my 09 accord sedan 2.4l ivtec EX?
Hi Mil, do you replace the copper washers on the brake line when installing
Well I used the new banjo bolt and copper washers that came with the new Stainless Steel lines, so yes. But every time you take the banjo bolt out, you should replace it with new copper washers :)
Excellent
GREAT INFORMATION
@Milanmastracci Awesome Video, what rotors are they Stop tech ? If so are they good rotors I been thinking of getting some Stoptech rotors but don’t no much about them
will those calipers work on a 9th gen civic (2012-15)
So i did this upgrade and now my pedal is soft, i bleeded my front brakes and still the same thing? Should i bleed all the brakes in its rotation?
I would bleed them again, and make sure the master doesn't come close to being emptied when doing so. I've got a nice firm pedal feel with my car
Do you have videos on how to bleed front brakes?
Do you know what’s the size of the hub rings I need to mount the rotors so they don’t move
Lol, what happened?
Idk, but great video again bro 👌
I had to reupload it because of an editing issue :) Its all good now
+milanmastracci hey man sorry to bother but i shot a comment over on you " Does the gold spit flames" vid if you can help me out, thank you great vids
dat cursing! hahah
i know, i know, content flags :'(
Thanks so much for this. I've been a complete idiot in regards to this
Hi, planning to buy 4-Piston Brake Calipers for my accord cd5 front.
my wheels is 17 what is the good size for the calipers and rotors
thats looks good not to small i want a looks bit bigger that
goods for 17 inch i like your vids :)
Great job
very detailed~
Thank you! 😊
Did you used spacers on ?
16-inch wheels suitable for installation what brake
Thanks for the video my friend. It seems familiar with stoptech calipers, is it?
hi
i have a proton persona car its 2013 and i need to change acliber like your car plz help me which size is fit to my car ? and thanks
so where did you get the caliper? I have looked around for some flat faced calipers. my FRS has those stock grey ones that show the pad.
usualy junk yard. i have 2 spare once from when i got them from my junk yard guy
Outstanding.
Where did you get the adaptors trying to do that to my 09 tsx
great video man! but rl brakes aren't made by brembo
Wait so when changing the pads on those how will you push the pistons back in? Cause those brembos are different from regular calipers.
Nevermind lol just realized they have L bolts on the side..
I've got a sweet tool to push them back in. Once I do a brake job with them, i'll show you how to do it :)
+milanmastracci Lol cool cant wait!
would i need an adapter only for the rears or will i need 4 adapters all the way around?
The adapters that I have are only good for the front. Because the rear brakes have a hand brake, it isn't advised to install a set of brakes like this in back there.
+milanmastracci I'll keep that in mind. thanks a bunch
nice video buddy
Thanks man!! :)
I would shit on it with my 04 TL
@@Faze_XAUUSD hope your transmission doesn't give out lol
Dont know if anuone asked yet but, wat year is that accord? Im thinkin about doin the same to my 04 accord! That shit looks dope.
what's the torque spec for your calipers' mounting bolts?
I would say 50 - 60Nm is just fine. because the bolt is used on shear load. Make sure your just use Locktite.
Do you have a link to a web that I can buy some brambos for my 300C Hemi?
HOW CAN I GET THOSE CALIPER adapter for my accord 2000?
They’re asking double on amazon because you plugged the link in your description.
Did you use oem accord banjo bolts or have to get replacement bolt
I used the OEM bolt 👍 still holding up great
milanmastracci thanks I got 06 oem calipers and I read that the oem bolts was to long
Yeah I read that too but it seemed to be okay for me :) I was skeptical at first but I'm yet to have a leak or anything
milanmastracci OK thank you again I’ll be starting my project soon
You are the best
Those brekes do think can work in Honda Pilot 2007
Where did you buy the caliber adaptor?!
