As soon as Jim pulled over to greet Francine, I knew he couldn't leave her behind, and that she'd found her safe place with you. So thank you for having such big hearts! And I'm guessing 7 puppies!
Glad y’all are ok! I wanted to send a message, but I didn’t know how. Thank you for rescuing that mama dog. She really didn’t have a chance left out in a storm!❤
Francine, is a perfect name! She is a fortunate pup, that she got rescued by loving, kind people! Glad things went more on a positive note, for ya’ll.❤
I am guessing Francine will have 9 beautiful puppies! She is a lucky dog to have people who will truly love and care for her now. Thanks for having such big hearts!
So I turned off video when I saw the pregnant dog bc my heart just cant take it. Then I said to myself, “they are gonna do the right thing!” So turned back on. Love yall and thanks so much for taking care of that beautiful furry pregnant baby! Keep on rocking! ❤❤❤
It's always fun watching fellow Cajuns getting prepped for pending disasters! Like you good folks, my area just west of Lafayette was spared as well from a direct hit. Well, truth be told, we were actually spared from ANYTHING related to Francine, once she came on shore, the skies here started clearing out and the rain completely stopped. And, word from friends in the areas that were hit directly is power is already being restored in large chunks, so the power should be on everywhere sooner rather than later!
I just knew you would bring the little mama home and so glad you did. Poor thing 😢. Good luck the storm misses you 🤞. Prayers for the people that got hit 🙏.
awe she's so cute, she seems like a sweetheart I'm glad you rescued her. when I was little my mom rescued a golden retriever who was abandoned at a truck stop, her uterus was infected and had like 20 pounds of pus inside of it. the vet removed it, and we took her home. She had severe hip dysplasia but instead of putting her down we took care of her and gave her so much love. she was the happiest most grateful sweetest girl you could ever ask for, and we took care of her until we sadly had to put her down because she was in too much pain and couldn't get around anymore. We made sure she was loved and did our best to give her a happy life.
8 puppies I've been a lifelong dog lover, and I'm 60. Thank you for taking her in under the threat of a heracan. I'm glad you were missed by the. God blessed you for saving her life and the life's of the puppies she's about to have.
You guys are the best thank you for taking in that precious baby mama.May God continue to bless you and keep you safe with this coming storm.❤️❤️❤️🙏🙏🙏🙏
Thanks for giving Francine a new loving home. I really hope you get her spayed. Here in Tennessee we got a little wind and 4.5" of rain. No complaints! We really needed the rain. So glad y'all are safe but, great planning.

I knew that you two would never let that momma dog stay out with the storm coming. That just isn’t in your nature! So happy you got a video out! Love you guys like family! Stay safe!

Love you guys for taking that girl in -- it breaks my heart that people do that, abandon their dogs -- but then there are kind people around, and you've proven to be the kindest kind!!
It's refreshing to see people who aren't just happy that the storm went somewhere else, but concerned for the people who got hit by the storm. I remember when Harvey came a friend from church tried to claim victory because they prayed the storm would not come here. The caveat is Rockport was literally destroyed by a Cat 5 storm that spent 8 hours with the eye over that town, and 2 weeks later after all the rain made its way down to our town, that guy's house was flooded by 5 feet of water along with so many others. Sad for all that have been adversely affected by Francine.
Definitely a humbling experience to live through this type of storm! I’ve been through some really bad ones that forever changed our landscape and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. 😊
@@CajunCountryLivin Linving through Harvey was also a life-changing experience. Seeing Rockport being destroyed and then getting zero media attention afterward because of the massive devastation of the flooding in Houston was painful, but then two weeks after Harvey left all that water ended up flooding most of my hometown, again with little to no coverage. It feels like you are going through it without anyone knowing.
Thank you for taking Francine in!!! I would guess lucky # 7. I look forward to seeing the new pups!! As always thanks for bringing us along your journey! I'm glad you all are safe!
Thanks for the update on the storm and that you all are safe. Honestly, I was a bit concerned about your safety. Take care of Francine and her 6 ❤puppies!!!!!! Take care folks.
Thank you for showing how you prep for the storms. You guys have such warm hearts. It is a shame that someone put Francine out on the side of the road. Thank you for taking her in. Another great video, from great people!
Y'all are awesome! Thank you for taking her in. It is very likely that she didn't wander there.... more likely she was dumped. Unfortunately, there is no shortage of heartless individuals out there. God Bless You.
Thanks for looking after that poor dog 👍 some people can be so cruel ; as you said “ it was probably a pet what with the collar mark “ the dog was probably a faithful dog for some body ,yet the mongrels dumped it . Well done you guys !

Hi Jim and Lydia! Your love and kindness is always so great to see. Thank you for taking in Francine and her soon to be family. I'll guess 8 puppies, she looks pretty packed.
