Garden (Courtyard) Top 5 September plants

A late September look at the courtyard and my top five plants looking great at the moment.
Still some nice pops of colour, interest and some bloom, after that blast of sunshine at the start of the month.

Garden is looking lovely Hugh and wow still so much colour. It has been a huge difference in our temps too 7c nights and 27c days but we all know that’s coming to an end as it starts getting later in the fall. Have a super week keep safe, Ali 🌥️🇨🇦

As always, it looks fantastic Hugh !! Just love the variegated plants and the acers do soo well in your climate. If there were trees here, I'd definitely plant one under it 😂😂😂

Thank you! Yes, getting that blend right of foliage and flower colour is always a treat here. Oh, now that would be amazing to have a Japanese maple growing there - worth checking if friends and neighbours in the area have any. Have a great week, Hugh 👍🏻👌🏻

I love the Japanese maple and aquatic pot!!! I want to create the same. I can hardly get over how beautiful everything still is. (Where’s the green thumb amoji)

My Japanese maple is much darker leaves. Different kind? My Cannas blossomed out. Orange and red. Elephant ears are growing. Mirabalis grew. Several bushes but geez ..they open only in rainy dark days. I'm not doing those again. Marigolds and zinnias are doing well. Learned my dill plants reseeds😂
The yellow primrose lilac didn't bloom yet. I got to make sure I'm alive again in spring. 😂

Lol, yes well worth hanging in there for all the spring colour Molly 😁😁 could well be a different japanese maple, there's plenty of different varieties. Sounds like you had some great successes this year, and yes, we know what's on the way for sure. We've some storm fronts here over next few days. All the best there Molly 👍🏻🤗
