A very good Vlog and very informative. Here I would like to add some of my experiences,
1. After first service the vibration issue is resolved (not completely by slightly) which is acceptable. You'll feel vibration only above 85kmph at 3rd gear and over 6000RPM.
2. Heating is not the issue but the nature of every high performing machine and this one is 400CC with 40BHP power. City ride of course will heat up this powerful machine.
3. Post service, City ride mileage comes around 24-25kmph
4. I had toppled my bike a couple of weeks back and got the left mirror broke and the handle bar was slightly imbalanced.(no other damage at all). I was very tense and disappointed. But when I took it to the showroom, to my surprise they got it fixed without any insurance claim. I was worried about the handle bar. But they fixed it nicely. Yes the mirror cost me Rs.927 over the service charge of Rs.2038. Kudos to the Triumph service team.
4. I got back my vehicle the same day which I thought that it might take a day or two considering the damage.
4. Speedometer will always show 6-7kmph more when you ride it to full throttle. Some may take it as an issue but I'll take it as a precaution so that as a rider I can control over speed when needed.
5. You can easily cruise at 75-80kmph at 4th or 5th gear.
6. Over all this vehicle is worth the money. Guys, you won't find any bike with all the features at 10/10 rating. But then you always see the major aspect considering the price point and Triumph Speed 400 justifies the performance.
I would always recommend this one over Honda 350RS, HE meteor, HE interceptor and Honda Hness.
Ride safe and ride responsibly.
Does the radiator kicks in frequently in city traffic?
@@amitdash10 yes, it does. But don't bother about that, it's loud so catches your attention. But, it never distorts the performance of the bike.

You can't complain about it. It's a powerful 400CC engine. The radiator will do it's work to keep the engine cool as much as possible.
Can we install aftermarket exhaust??? Can we lower down the handle bar ..to make it more aggressive like continental gt??
It has been 2 days since delivery... I have ridden the bike from delhi to bareilly.. Approx. 300 kms.. Certain issues are there..
1. Everytime u switch off/on the ignition after riding, the fuel guage and DTE differs vastly. I was riding with 3 bars of fuel guage, but after having some tea, when I put the key back, it shows no bar... It's too worrying thing.
2. My bike doesn't start with just a soft touch to the self start button. I have to press it for a longer period.
3. Sometimes false neutral becomes a issue.
4. The bike has faulty speedometer too.. There is a speed difference of 12 kmph once u r riding above 80 kmph... Below 80 kmph the gap is not that much..
The last one is not an issue at all
Every vehicle has it except one i think

And the second issue is subjective to certain bikes
1st one is on tip toe scale
Some complain some not but still debatable if it is to few models

@4:04 hello my speed 400 engine heats so much I can see the gum coming out of middle of the engine sealing line ... And, it will take 4 hours to cooldown.
And, my bike stalls too many times in 2nd gear when I dont rev

I'm getting some form of metal vibration noises starting at 4500 RPM apart from the engine vibrations above 6000 RPM....is that the case in all Speed 400s?
Speedometer error can be corrected with software flash: Engine speed, Transmission Ratio and Tire diameter to be updated!! For digital however for analogue, change the hardware, Recall!!!

maine kal test ride li, bhai bilkul sahi bta rha hai ek ek cheej, is price me jabardast bike hai ye, mujhe nahi lagta 2.33 me iska koi comptetition hai, badhiya basy sa sound, superv power or kya kmaal handling u turn lete time pta hi nahi chlta tha magnet ki tarah chiki thi slow and fast .haan is se upar jayoge to offcourse or jyada feature or thodi jyada power k sath ktm aa jayegi, ya double cyllinder interceptor jo ki over all 80k-90k mehngi rhengi atleast. mujhe lgta hai engine ktm se thoda sa jyada refined hai vibration k maamle me but interceptor makkhan thi twin cyllinder. but vivration feel nahi huye jra bhi agar practically poosho smoothness ki baat hoti hai
HI Bro, have you changed the engine oil to MOTUL or Any other brands?? The service centre uses HP Prolube which isnt that good . If you have changed it Please do a detailed video how to change it because the service centres refuses to use other oils. thanks
There is a gap in what dealership took for registration process and what amount challan was generated by Vahaan. Showroom said it's brokerage fees and number plate charge. Is this fair? Moreover they're asking for ₹500 extra for RC smart card home delivery service.
No mention of helmet bill and they won't provide 1 either.

can u recommend any riding shoes so that less impact.. i owned highness.. avenger.. in that gear lever was double long size ..so shifting was easier
All shoes will have left show top wear . Try changing to toe heal shifter from after market
If the rc mentions manufacturer as bajaj, what does the insuarance document say??
Also, is this the case with KTM bikes as well because they too are manufactured by bajaj

New Bullet 350 &
Speed 400
Confusions:
1. Loving the design of all three
2. Bullet & Pulsar ka main fanboy hu pehle se. Abb speed bhi pasand aa rahi hai
3. I want a bike for daily office to home commute & monthly 2-3 long rides, so I want that laid back comfort of bullet,
quick pickup for aggressive cornering & overtakes like pulsar. Does speed 400 provide both the characters?
4. Mileage bhi aas-pas hi hai teeno ka.
5.On road Price difference mein to pulsar better package hai.

If your are.migrating from shine 125 ,surprised to know you completely ignored Cb350 highness or RS . It fulfills all your concerns . I matches fuel efficiency of Bajaj 250 , laid back relax ride of RE classic 350 or bullet 350 and aggression of Speed 400 upto certain limit .Speed may outperform Cb350 by small marjin but it nahi outstanding fuel efficiency best for daily office commutes . Speed 400 looks ordinary even to age old classic 350 form RE . Just test ride all bikes before deciding

I went to the showroom too
They told me that it might improve after first service and they can't do anything now
It's showing around 41-43 in the instrument cluster but I could get only 18-20
yeah, I got 21kmpl first month, my car gives 18kmpl on the same roads. I'm pretty sure we'll able to clock atleast 28kmpl after a service.
You have to live with it now , it can increase by 35 kmpl if drivennlike ct100 or splendor 100 c c😂

gear shifting at red light to neutral is also not very easy i am finding
Why are you switching to Neutral? Just turn it off on signal using kill switch.
On my old bike, I would not shift to Neutral for months. There is no need.
But if you still want to, there might be a clutch cable setting issue. Because on my Speed 400, there is no Neutral issue. In fact it is so easy that I sometimes switch to Neutral from 1st while riding when I actually want to go to 2nd.
Only Kawasaki bikes have active Neutral finder as a feature on all their bikes. None of the other brands have it. But is it even required?
normally when say we are at a signal for 50/60 secs.. shifting to neutral ..as otherwise i will hav to hold clutch lever..switching off the bike in 1st or 2 nd gear is an interesting option..
When the bike is idle in 2nd gear I am also feeling diffucult to goto neutral... When the bike running it is easier to goto neutral.

People ignored Honda 350 only because there was no showroom near by , trusting bajaj will be disastrous if honda too is ignored . Triumph engineers cannot handle customers how can they service you whom would travel 400 kns one way only for service .Plus Speed 400 hs fuel consumption under 35 kmpl

Maine bike 23rd August ko book ki thi aur do din pehle hin dealership (Shree Bharat Motors, Bhubaneswar) walon ne call kiya tha aur bol rahe the ki abhi full payment kar dijiye phir 15 din baad apko gaadi mil jayegi. Kya ye apke saath bhi hua tha aur kya mujhe abhi se payment kar deni chahiye?

Totally depends on the perspective of the individual. For me , it's Speed 400. If u r into aggressive looks, u can go for scrambler.
For me it's scrambler, like the bulky look of it

I am facing heavy heating issue even the tank is heating and unbearable heat it will burn your foot...I have fuel guage issue...and gear is very hard...and some time it won't start after 2 to 3 trail start
Heating issue happens if you immediately start riding after a cold start. Crank the engine and let it run in idle for 2-3 mins before you take it for a spin

I have taken the delivery last week, they have provided MRF tyres in place of Apollo Alpha. Pls clarify.
Triumph used both tyres. Some bike have Apollo alpha H1 and some have MRF.
