Why do people blaim single cylinder for vibrations?? My Suzuki gs150R 14 year old doesn't have any vibrations even at full throttle 109 kmph,, it doesn't even feel that there is bike in between your legs at 100kmph,,take ride Suzuki v storm 250, gixxer 250,,butter smooth motors, take Honda single cylinder, highness, no vibes. So, why only bajaj, KTM, tvs etc have these vibrations in their single cylinder..

Next time, drain a little bit of Engine oil, just out of the showroom.
It is mineral oil, 20W30 Factory assembled engine.
This oil is Non synthetic and Deep orange in colour.
The New bikes these times have Gray Silicon paste engine housing gasket sealant.
That clogs the Engine oil filter even before 500Km.
The Local service center uses 5W30 semi synthetic oil BS6.
The BS6 norms has choked a perfect engineered bike.
    Resolutiom for Heating/Vibration issues:
    Use, SERVO BS6, 4T ZOOM10W-30, JASO M2
Second, "under the exhaust bend pipe" is a port, for water drain, just after the CAT. It is blocked from factory, open it with a wooden tooth pick

The best video of Vikas Rachamalla is where he gives tips for riders to be safe on long rides like keeping one finger on brake lever, riding with lanes in mind etc etc

Technically in general the peak of the torque curve is the limit after which motorcycle straining can be felt and is the true vibration. In this case i guess 6500 rpm is the max one should hold maximum. In case on RE engines the peak torque generally hits below 4-5k rpm and maxing above that rpm oce in a while is fine but holding isn't ideal. In other hand ninja300, street triple, these engines torque curve peaks at 8k to 10krpm , where steady holding at 7k, 8 k rpm is fine i guess.

Hi Vikas. Very informative video.❤👌👌👌 The kind of OCD you mentioned about new bike issues is true, I felt it too.
I felt that Dheeraj's voice was bit low while he was speaking. Your voice is super clear as usual.

Thank you vikas sir for the clarification. I am also an owner of a speed 400 and I feel there are vibrations at higher RPMs specially after 5k. But I think it might be normal, since I came jumping from a 150cc category directly.

I bought this bike recently and what i noticed is the suspension is like the old Bajaj Pulsars which do not hurst your back, I have been riding Honda Hornet which looks slightly bulky only by the looks but not by the weight. I ride to work only and i am not like the riders who travel very long distances. I have lower back pain caused by the sciatica nerve which runs from lower back to the foot so doctors told me to avoid riding the bikes but i do not have an option. So riding the Hornet to work and back specially in the places where these rumble strips are placed everywhere now a days literally causes so much unbearable pain and stiffness in my lower back😢. I finally made a decision to buy some heavier bike so they can take the bumps easy on my back, I got rid of my Hornet even before booking this bike and went for a test ride after watching so many videos that this has the best suspension and good for bumpy roads and when i tried it for real i thought that is an amazing bike which offers a good riding posture and offers very smooth ride so i booked it and got it delivered. I am very satisfied with this bike and i recommend this bike for people specially with back pain if they cannot avoid riding two wheelers like me.
My honest suggestion for the riders, it is definitely fun riding the bikes but please take care of your back's. Avoid hitting the bumps or rumble strips with full throttle even if you are riding the heavy bikes like Dominar, RE or Jawa cause the back pain doesn't start instantly it develops over time and by the time you realize it you will end up seeing the spine specialists and physiotherapists which helps but in my case i suffered a really sharp needle pain in my lower back that made my problem even worse now. When i sold my Hornet i had to wait for this bike due to delivery timelines so i borrowed bikes from my friends and brothers and nothing comes close to this in terms of the smoothness this bike handles the bumps.

I have a speed 400, have driven around 300 kms as I’ve just got it. I was searching for this exact question of vibrations in the bike and to some extent I feel re-assured. However, I want to know at what RPMs are these vibrations normal that you are talking about? The speed 400 has been made to go to approx 165 kms, and while I do not want to get to that range, it would nonetheless feel a little disappointing if vibrations get too much to handle even at 110-130 kms.
So, is it fine to ride the triumph speed 400 at 130 kms with some of the vibrations? Will it be detrimental to the engine or the driver?

At what speeds do you feel vibrations and at what is the max comfortable cruising speed for you?

  • @content-consumer
    @content-consumer 10 місяців тому

I think the vibration is increased after service because the bike goes through an ecu upgrade as stated by company.

Hness is good , speed u may need to wait for 6 months to know better. As of now I am also confused as it's cheaper than even duke 250 😑

Vikas bhai, I'm confused between Speed400 and CB350 RS. Both are close in price. Will this Triumph be reliable and refined because the Bajaj Tag attached with it stops me from deciding. Would love to see your podcast exclusively on Speed 400/Scrambler 400x.

    • @siva0529

Cb350 don't have out right acceleration, if acceleration is what u need look at duke, speed or CB300 . Overall CB350 is very good.
