Triumph has been offering 16000 km service intervals for their other bikes like Bonnevilles and Trident for several years now. Those bikes haven't had any oil drain issues.
I am really curious to know now that what's the actual oil changing interval for mineral / synthetic oils ?? When one maker with similar synthetic offers double interval.. what kind of such revolutionary invention have they developed ?? if there's something like that, other manufacturers would have also developed something minutely similar now and get rid of the 3k - 6k - 9k interval periods ??????? CURIOUS / CONFUSED
@@dhruvsaxenadstar I'm not an expert but this is my understanding. Primary factors contributing to the need to change oil are sludge/deposit accumulated over time, loss of viscosity and the oil capacity of the vehicle. Mineral oils need to be changed more often because they cause more sludge and lose viscosity at higher temperatures. Synthetics have been designed to produce less deposits and hold their viscosity better at high temperatures and hence need to be changed less often. Also, the 10000 mile intervals for synthetics is relatively new in bikes but have been around in cars for quite some time.
@@karthik.sridharmost non commuter bikes use synthetic oil, even then its recommended to change oil every 5k kms. Unless triumph has developed some revolutionary synthetic oil, how can the same oil last 3 times as much in their bike than other 300-400 cc competitors. My hypothesis is that this was done to reduce the service costs for owners over a time period so that triumph can attract those middle class buyers who otherwise would have been scared away by the huge maintenance bills.
@@leansnscenes7806 I'm not sure what exactly makes them last so long. But I do know Triumph is not alone here. Some Ducatis too have longer intervals (close to 10k miles) between oil changes. Some BMWs have had 10k km oil change intervals for years.
@@karthik.sridhar but those are huge displacement engines, not too stressed and a lotta engine oil capactity. Im hard pressesed to believe that a 400cc engine manufactured by bajaj that too making 40hp has the same oil longevity.
Thanks, this is one of the best detsiled and practical vlog i have seen till now in terms of clarifying a lot of buzz in markets and doubts of new buyers 😊

Bhai Bangalore RTO is the most expensive RTO by far if you are in Pun don't worry it would usually be around 25,000 in Rajastan its 30,000 or check according to your state you don't have to pay for RSA intro kit and Delivery Chargers(Unless you want it to be delievered)
To @srmotoworld i would like to put the following questions Here are my questions: 1. How intuitive are the switches and functions? 2. How is the ride quality? Is it firm or plush? 3. How much vibration is felt on the foot pegs, tank, and handlebar? 4. How big is the turning radius? 5. Does the engine run very hot? 6. What is the actual GPS or VBox measured top speed? 7. How smooth and precise is the gearbox? 8. How light is the clutch feel compared to the CB350? 9. Is this bike ready for E20 fuel? 10. How good is the headlight throw? 11. what is your rating for the NVH level on a scale of 1 to 10? 12. How linear and wide is the power band? 13. How good is the tractability? 14. Is there any provision for a centerstand? 15. Is the ground clearance adequate for Indian road conditions? 16. Since it runs on a high compression ratio, will it have problems with knocking if fueled with less than 91 octane petrol? 17. Does the mirrors give a good rear view? 18. What sort of mileage can we expect from it? 19. How good is the horn? 20. And finally, is it a better-built motorcycle than the Honda CB350?
Road Tax can Vary state to State: this 46k seems lile is for Karnataka, and we know roadt tax in KA is high Coming to RSA which i think will be optional For Insurance you have choice to purchase from outside too Introduction Kit seems like accesories like mirrors, leg gaurd, engine gaurd and saree gaurd (cost is high) but they are selling it like preium product. BMW also charges 10k for delivery So considering Delivery charges 17k is little high too
Triumph is a good brand but what happen when there is some problem in bike and you don’t have service centre nearby in your home town it’s a big drawback for Triumph User . You can go for services for such long distances but for minor issues we can’t able to go such far service centre . So I will choose Harley 440x as its showroom is in my hometown
Still I believe that the character of the engine, especially, the rideability, when to change the gear, is going to be almost same as we find in Bajaj Dominar. 10 to 15 % or lower difference may be there. I think, in terms of rideability, Harley X440 will be better. But I don't like it's backside design and silencer.
