No it is not necessary. But try not to over feed. This is because the nitrification bacteria in the filter will be slightly effected by medicine therefore is not functioning in full capacity. If there's no direction for water changes in the medicine, usual weekly water change be carry out. But do change water before adding medicine.

If found out early, just dose seachem stressguard and it will help to would to heal faster and also prevent infection. But if found out more then a week later, there might be some fungus or bacteria infection. Dose seachem stressguard along with neoplex or polyguard

Yes, Paraguard can be use on Channa. For quarantine we would recommend using Stress guard

Stressguard is not harmful to bio filter bacteria. It has mild anticeptic function. Can be use in main tank, quarantine tank and even during shipping
