I did my 6 with a 2X rivet gun (much smaller than yours) and an in-line pressure reducer. I set it up so that 3 quick pulls of the trigger were just right every time.
When I was choosing my tools from Cleaveland I waffled on the 2x / 3x choice. I’d read that there would be a number of rivets that would be really difficult to set with a 2x, so I chose the latter. It’s taken some getting used to. But, with no prior riveting experience, I imagine I would have struggled similarly with a 2x gun.
I`m sure it will be nice to have some work close to home . Also , you got to be the first UA-cam video on my new dual 27" monitor setup .
I’m pretty stoked about being able to drive home on weekend so I can chase kids off my lawn.

Hey, i have a question, are you DJ Solomun?😅
Just saw a video of him and, yeah,.... just wanted to know...
That’s hilarious. I had to google him. I saw one pic that even had me wondering. Lol
Someone needs to invent a rivet gun with a power setting dial and a binary trigger
I’m pretty happy with this gun. The ability to tease the trigger is important.
