Ram bhai rocked it when he gave directions to a guy. 🔥
Thanks for watching the video, Alaka :)
Can't just imagine,, how hard life would be without sight .. May God bless you bro
Everyday life for you is so challenging ..but I appreciate the smile you maintain on your face .... You hide all yr pain and anguish in that smile of yours !!
Hats off to you Raam
I got a chance to meet Mr.Ram in-person ,such a inspiring and motivating gentleman, truly agreed with the thoughts .We need to do the introspection in the society. Are we doing justice being a human with vision?
I really appreciate this. The protagonist here is Ram bhaiya who is my senior and I have been in touch with him with respect to my dissertation writing. I can surely say he is a gem and can fail very big intellectuals out there.
He is exceptional and this documentary is really showing their plight and obstacles which is not even in the eyes of big bureaucrats. It's pathetic to say when we are saying we are developing , I would say have a look in their aspects and you will realize how developing are we in true sense.
Although I can see but still I can feel their pain and sufferings.
Everyone should introspect and ponder over this big issue pertaining in evil eyes of us.
Thankyou creators for bringing in such a beautiful piece of work which is an eye opener for all of us. Really a good job🙌💫
I appreciate BBC News India and senior video editor Anshul Verma for making this short documentary about the struggles and hindrances which we go through on daily basis. Because of journalists like Anshul, BBC journalism is respected and stands out the most. Anshul deserves all the credits. Anshul Verma expertly directed and completed the work of the producer, director, reporter, cameraman, video editor, and assistant to guide me through during the shoot.
It's time to spread awareness of disability, inclusion, and accessibility among able-bodied people. This brief documentary tries to explore accessibility issues and built-up impediments in Delhi, the nation's capital. It's also interesting to observe the difficulties a blind person has accessing daily life activities. It would be interesting to know what my fellow disabled people think.
Wow yaar!
So nice
Thanks Ram. We are fortunate to be able to witness and work with you.
Hi. My name is Rita, and my vision is low. I love the way how you described all problems which you face in dayly life. Hope to become your friend if you are not mind. By the way, i am from Russia, and realy love Bharat

True. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family.
delhi is not a coma patient friendly city.
I am sorry to see that even simple things can be so tough just because of a lack of care on our part. But it's good to see Ram live so fully.
Thanks for watching, Ariba. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
Because he is born blind. The late you lose your sight the difficult it becomes.
delhi is bad. here blind people cant even see anything
This ableist world has reduced us to a mere inspiring object.
People with disabilities our daily dealing with such problems but able bodied just romanticise that and ignore the real problem.
It could be a tiny but much needed step in order to make them realise how ignorant they are and romanticising our disability doesn't help.
Its your nice initiative and surely it would be eye opening for many people. Looking forward to more such videoes around disabilities and their inter sections. Please do stories about Dalit Bahujan Adivasis, women and LGBTQAI marginalised disabled
Thanks for watching our content. We hope to continue to make such films. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)

Thank you BBC for showing us the world of a person without an eye. It is always a treat listening to Ram Singh, a person full of wits. We need to grow as a society and develop an environment, friendly to our visually challenged friends. I just hope that we shall collectively put our efforts in bringing this change.
For those who want to help visually challenged students by recording books for them, please join "Let's record" initiative by "Vargashikshak".
Thanks for watching the film, Aman. Please share our channel with friends and family :)
@@bbcnewsindia Please also make film on transgender persons life in Delhi
We go through these difficulties everyday
After watching this I feel we need to put braille everywhere on every product and directions… like the way we put English, Hindi Urdu marathi and other languages
…hope this will make a difference even if it’s small
The one who raises voice on such Vishu is only BBC.
It is an example where we could see how the government and society is failing to involve them into main stream
delhi is bad. here blind people cant even see anything.
Very inspirational. Hope you are doing well Ram and friends.
In Delhi, Where the heaven for scammers, It's even hard to survive for the common people without any disability. It's like everyday war. I'm not talking about women safety.
सलाम है 🤲🏼
You are my motivational brother ❤ram
I don't have words really amazing. Thank you BBC
Much needed video.
Thanks for watching, Prateek. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
I can understand buddy, when we can face such problems in a state like Delhi, then we all know how problems will come in other states.
Absolutely right mostly important to society to disable
thanks to this video
In India, for normal persons itself is difficult, we can't imagine blind peoples suffering 😢
Our Society must think about all section of people and our government has to think extra mile for ease of life of differently able people.
delhi is bad .. here blind people cant even see
Thank you BBC to addressing these kind of issues
Thanks for watching, Gowtham. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
BBC
May I ask you.
What could be the reason that other Indian TV channels did not plan such inquisitive programme.
Kindly reply.
Thanks a lot for such a kind, responsible and inclusive programme.
Ram studies in JNU it seems. Keep it up my man.
It will take another 100 years for India to become like Europe.
Living with disabilities could be challenging. We should thank to allah SWT. He has at least provided us with good vision.
wa ramoo wa god bles u welden buddy excellent jop i appreciate u unbelievbable
appreciate BBC News India
Although its very good documentary however i just wanted to bring to your notice that there are mistakes in Braille appearing on screen in the beginning. Maybe you can be mindful of this in future
I just came to know about this channel from a trailer by Nikita in BBC Hindi. Regarding the city's, public services and infrastructures: it's also same in Nepal and its capital city Kathmandu!
Thanks for watching our videos, Jiwan :) We hope you'll share our channel with friends and family.
✨✨
Even government could not make Delhis buses/ systems for disabled people friendly. Somehow the Metro is little bit good, there is a person to help. Truely saying, People of delhi don't have time to support any person like this.
Treat them as differently abled, not disabled. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
Bahut khoob bhai
Thanks for watching, Yuvraj. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
Life can be so disheartening at times
i am confused how they understand the direction and route for home and other places .
Take one path and memorize it don't take any other path at all
Never imagined i would see the blinded kid from slumdog millionaire again
The disabled persons take a full part in the development of their societies but people forget their role.
True. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
Hi BBC
Society needs to be humanist and sensitized towards the person with visual impairment
Only seeing them as inspirational porn or Completely neglected and ignored, will not help instead of it apart of golden mean, needs to be carve out
3:26 By the way, Ram bhaiya lied about his girlfriend.
Nice video
😂😂
as per 2016 act every thing as to be made accessable to PWD person ,but, ignorance prevailing.
very nice video 🫶
Meanwhile indian bycott BBC🤦🏻♂️
This is their way of winning over Indian's again
Thanks for watching. Please share the video and our channel with friends and family :)
Sorry to say but you have very negative thinking. I also have a friend who was born blind but i was shocked by his positive attitude. He never talk negative that people don't help him he instead say mein teri help karu.
He was my crazy friend from childhood miss you ayush. I dont have contact of hik anymore
This is the most stupid document ever met. Mr Rama is very poor and mobility and orientation. Please unable to move him on his whole. Unfortunately BBC has published this document from and in Cable person I am in Delhi. Delhi is a very good place to move around, you can’t expect braille labels in open market while purchasing clothes do it. Does he have braille labels in his house for the toilets, kitchen or anything so that is too much expectation so I have better mobility hub been moving in Delhi for so many years and I don’t face any problem. There are certain limitations me how to limit this
