It's here at last! The intro to Giratina's boss fight is featured before the main track, and I went for a cover that mixes a lot of sounds from both the Legends Arceus theme and the original Platinum theme. The tempo follows the Legends version. Apparently Giratina *allows* the trainer to capture them later on after the huge boss fight which is supposed to show that they've changed ways from being totally evil to just *mostly* evil; I make a nod to that by ending the cover on a rather soft and dreamy major key melody taken from another part of the theme. Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy this take on my favourite legendary theme from the Pokémon series!

I still can't get over how Turnback Cave is named so well. It's a cave that's so deep it goes to the Pokemon equivalent of Hell. And then there's the outside being covered in the ashes of dead Pokemon. The theming is ridiculously good and (if I could feel emotions anymore, long story, don't ask) terrifying. (Again, I'm guessing here. Fear would probably be the correct emotional response, right? I don't wanna be a sociopath or Cyrus at all.)

If you listen closely after the flatline and during the riff, you can hear thumps that resemble a heartbeat. It makes me think Giratina rose from the dead to extract vengeance after striking it down once already.
Giratina was planning on destroying hisui with Volvo but when the player defeated it it became one of the protectors of hisui

One thing I always focus on with remixes of this song is how well the heart failure sound effect is portrayed and how well it's mixed with the song itself, which by itself should be telling you you're not just fighting just another legendary Pokémon but instead, a being that was banished from the universe for a very good reason and has now been unleashed. A song that portrays how utterly fucked you are the moment you challenged Giratina. And this song portrays exactly that. It's really rare to see a Pokémon remix that not only is a cover, but an improvement or enhancement in a sense compared to the original. The only ones I know of that really portray the songs well by doing them justice with excellent remixes are Vetrom, Zame, Falkkone and fellow Dutch person Bliizit. But it's safe to say that you, my good sir, are easily to be found among them. Because this remix and the others you made are just the most epic ones I've heard in a long while.

I like how low hp motifs was put in boss theme in some moments like saying “Call an ambulance, CALL AN AMBULANCE, but not for me”
I love the detail about the heartbeats, as if giratina was in the last strech trying to not succumb
i love how at first the beep makes it seem like giratinas heart stopped, but then it turns into a part of the song
God damn. This is the best remix I've ever heard of Giratina's theme, and that's no easy feat. Hell, it might even be better than the original.
Thank you so much! This has been my favourite legendary theme ever since Platinum first came out in 2009! Apart from the intro being from Legends Arceus, I wanted to make sure that just about every element from the original version was also in my cover. Even the bubbles!

Where is the energy in the song? It's like it's not even there... All I hear is the guitar and it's seriously disappointing
I honestly agree. Nintendo uses a bot to content match their music in videos through UA-cam's copyright system, and my original mix had the guitars turned down but it kept getting misidentified as the actual track instead of a cover. I was forced to turn the guitars up to avoid the copyright matching mistake, but the song has suffered from it. You've got to understand I'm more upset than anyone because it's my favourite legendary theme and it took me a month of work, only for Nintendo to force me to ruin the mix upon release. It's unfortunate and I'm genuinely sorry about the outcome.
