    Nothing better than being in your shelter area cooking some food as it’s raining outside. It’s so peaceful.
    Liked your campsite on night one. Those views on your day 2 hike was really beautiful. Loved the fog over the mountains and the views of the river.
    Surely Restless doesn’t start crying after mile 10😂🤣😂.
    I sleep better in my hammock too. I take my tent on solo trips but with groups I usually always bring my hammock.
    Awesome views on the walkout too. Really cool video Jason. Best first name in backpacking!!! More footage of Timmy next time please. 👍😁😁

    • @jasonwish-
      @jasonwish-  5 років тому +1

      Yep, I felt bad for not filming Timmy more! It was really nice to have the tent for eating during the rain, but a hammock would have been fine too with that light rain. If I find a better pad maybe I'll continue using the tent...its nice having both options for sure. Thanks, Jason!

    Great job on your video! The music really added a lot to it. West Rim is a good trail. There are some waterfalls worth seeing though they are off trail but not too far away. Looks like you had good weather. I was on the Black Forest Trail recently and we got a lot of rain.

    • @jasonwish-
      @jasonwish-  5 років тому

      I loved the Linville Gorge area....we did about a 12 mile section but would like to go back and hit the entire loop sometime. That was Pine Creek....looked like a great yak river! Thanks Pete!

      I have an eyeball question about your lake Vesuvius trip
      Did you have to buy a permit for the car for a 3 day hike or any type of permit for that matter did you have to purchase
      Me and my brother will be going up that way June 1st
      Saturday this weekend me and him will be putting together the trail that we wish to go on
      So if permits are required I would really love to know and if so how much are they because I am a little out of my league on that area Napa hiking just for that area what bikepacking for that matter generally I just go and I just stopped camp constantly with me and him three and a half hour drive I just want to know the details before we get down there as much as possible thank you and have yourself a fantastic day

      I think I got them on Amazon. The brand is Bonne Mamman, product of France. The smallest amount for purchase was like $33 for a box of 100 packets. My wife will never let me forget it either, lol.
