Holosun 507C X2 install on my Glock 45 MOS

Haven’t gotten it to the range with the red dot yet but I’ve put a lot of rounds through it, it shoots like a champ!

I have the same gun with the same light. I carry it everyday. I love the g45 over my g19. The g45 just feels better in my hand.

G45 isn’t a big gun in my humble opinion. It’s one of my smaller carry guns. I generally carry my G47 though

I have a Glock 45 also and I would say with its full size grip, it's at about the limit of comfortable CCW.
My EDC is a S&W MP 9 Shield 1.0, which is much smaller and more comfortable to carry.

I jus bought the holosun 507c and i have to get my g45 optic cut do i need to buy that plate set as well?

I wouldn’t buy those plates, they have bad ratings. I only used it because they came with the gun. I’m actually planning on changing it to a DPP titanium plate

Can I mount it with an rmr cut without the plate? Or do I need to have the plate?

The optic hangs off a little bit on both sides is that bad?

A lot of optics hang off a little bit. Same thing happens if ya use a trijicon rmr.

So you used the same screws on both the plate and the optic?

No, the screws for mounting the plate are a different length than the ones for mounting the optic

Technically no, but it’s easier to handle just the slide, and no way to possibly offend the UA-cam safety police lol
