Thanks for all your comments, it's a demo sung entirely by Linn, her exceptionally unique voice makes this demo a jewel. Most of us agree with that she was a great source of originality for Ace of Base. She would've been a great alternative-rock singer. I'm glad you enjoy the music!
+momanvgu Linn sings here that she's one in a million, but that's WAY off--she's one in 7.5 billion. :) She puts her absolutely distinctive stamp on everything she sings, and for me she makes any song of any style in any genre--even ones I don't like--rapturously enjoyable. Although they are all highly talented, Ace of Base are SO much less without Linn. That's why, as things are established now, they won't even try to make another comeback without her--from experience, they know that it's futile, and if she never has that change of heart that would be necessary for her to come back, then Ace of Base are done for good. Perhaps this is unfair, but for many of us, once we had a taste of Ace of Base with Linn, nothing less will do.
+angel.articles I totally agree, and furthermore the timbre of Linn's voice is my favorite sound in the whole universe. :) What is it about her and that voice and singing of hers? I suppose it's a glorious mystery that requires no explanation. All I know is that Linn always sounds extraordinarily beautiful, adorable, and cute, but in a way that is completely respectable and can be taken seriously, whether she's rocking like in this song or breaking our hearts with "Everytime It Rains" (a song she didn't like, herself, but it doesn't matter--she made this song great, like she does everything else).
Speaking of this song "Everytime It Rains", that by the way is one of my favorite, it would be a song she composed because of a love she had with someone, and this person is gone (died or separated from her)? It's just my conjecture, I would like someone say about this, if it's really a real fact that have to do with the lyrics.
MarcBr she didn't write the song. It was written by someone else. Jenny recorded it but then Clive Davis demanded the "blonde one" to sing it. She didn't want to she was forced to take a plane and record it. She did just one take and maybe if someone else had sing it it will sound like a generic pop ballad but even she wasn't comfortable doing this the song is a masterpiece because her voice makes it unique. You can hear how sad she was singing it but it just makes the song a rare jewel...

You can see her transition alone from life is a flower to cruel summer exponentially with the relegated performances to less and less granted interviews. Her voice is so. it seems she can exist without the band and the band cannot exist without her. Jenny was really exceptional, but linn's effect was phenomenal. Sadly her drive did not last - something unexpected for a band built by blood and friendship/ Linn, we don't care even if your hair is gray. People loved you not by twerking and shaking... just you.

Well sadly he's still around. Our dear friend "rbrtck" has a long history of mixing truth, half truths, and false claims in countless videos of AOB. Examples: he claims that Jenny refused to do any collabs with Jonas and Ulf. I disproved this with receipts from Jenny's own channel, and now rbrtck pretends he never mentioned it. Another example: he claims Ulf got the AOB name from a really obscure natsi submarine base. Again he failed to back up his defamation. Another: he claimed the guys mistreated Clara n Julia. Aside from the admittedly questionable ghosting, there is no evidence of so called mistreatment Moral of the day: be aware of deliberate attempts by bad faith posters to push misinformation

And unfortunately (for us), Jenny is also out. Although she still performs in a solo act (with backing singers and musicians) known as "Jenny From Ace of Base", in July this year she said that the band were still a family but would no longer be working together. This probably has a lot to do with the major controversial move that Jonas and Ulf made several years ago to replace Linn (who had quit) and Jenny (who had *not* quit) with new singers, and it sure seemed to threaten to tear them apart as a family (read more about it in one of my comments above). One or both could always change their mind(s), but for all I know, Jenny may well be farther away from that even than Linn now, and they've agreed that Ace of Base are the four original members, no more and no less. I bet that Jonas and Ulf would still be happy to move ahead with just Linn :), but that wouldn't sit well with Jenny, so really, it's all four or nothing now, and the ladies currently aren't playing. I don't blame them, either--they were never treated with the proper respect by the record companies or even the guys in their own band. By the way, the same thing happened to the replacement singers, whom Jonas and Ulf coldly blew off when they couldn't continue with the new lineup (literally ignored them until they went away on their own). Good luck getting anyone to sing your songs now, guys, including (or maybe especially) Linn and Jenny.

For future readers to know: one of the many fanfic statements this rbrtck has written, includes the allegation that Ulf and Jonas tried to push L and J into a sexual image. That literally never happened Rbrtck under another vid claimed that Jenny tried to convince Lin to return to AOB in the post 2009 period (after the infamous split with Ulf and Jonas) But let's ask ourselves : why would Jenny (who cares about her sister) try to convince L to return to the band, which L clearly hated since the mid 90s? Why would Jenny want to do that to her beloved sister? Rbrtck is what we in the AOB fanbase call a "linnier", sometime who is so infatuated with L to the detriment and antipathy toward the rest of the band (in this case, the guys). To see someone spread toxic miss info and miss truths is really sad to see.
one thing I really regret is that she shows no signs that she lives (provided she does) and how at all. She could at least do this to her fans. I do not think that anybody would try to force her to sing if she does not want to and people now understand pretty well how she respects the privacy
I think she just doesn't wanna be seen or photographed at all. However, as you state, I think it's kind of unbelievable there's no recent sign of her anywhere. As a fan I just hope she's happy and healthy 🙏🏻
