BTW, this is my very first video EVER... so, it's a bit rough around the edges. Hope you all enjoy! :)

She was forced to record which supposedly, finally pushed her over the edge and she dissapeared and hasnt been seen since 2002.
This doesn't make much sense. She recorded this in 1998 and was still in the band in 2002, or at least recorded for their next album. So she was in the band until at least 2001. If this pushed over the edge she wouldn't have worked on another album with the band @@woo_shynen8805
I recently found out who this woman is. Growing up in the 90's I believed "whoever this woman is* was the PERFECT woman. She is just so beautiful and her voice is very distinct. When I was 7 I would just watch Ace of Base videos and when I would turn the TV off to leave, In the back of my mind I just knew she was special. She is almost in a league of her own. Very few women are as talented as Linn. Thank you for the memories Ace of Base.
What I like most about Linn is that while some stars seem arrogant and full of themselves, she appeared to have a sweetness and innocence about her.
She never cared about the fame and never wanted what came with being famous. She's now living a peaceful life

Beautiful tribute to the ONE AND ONLY Malin! Ace of Base was a huge musical influence during my childhood and one of the reasons I got into the dancepop genre. All four members of AOB were great in their own way but there was something special about Linn. She had a powerful, vibrant voice that came to its right in the uptempo tracks and really shined on the ballads. She can take any song and make it hers and you can always tell it's Linn singing. We miss you Malin! Norway Loves AOB!

Believe it or not, I actually had a dream where I saw young Linn in the "Happy Nation era" at a bookstore! I kept whispering her name "Linn, Linn, Linn" However, Ulf kept telling me leave her alone, she wants to be left alone! So, I had to sadly watch her leave..... It was a beautiful dream nonetheless.

Yeah, imagine if she wasn't fed up and agreed to do multiple takes! I hate to admit it but even though behind the scenes Clive Davis may seem overbearing and a jerk, he knows what music the general public/fans want from Ace of Base. I don't think Jenny could have sang ETIR as well as Linn did here.

Linn was the most beautiful female singer of the 1990s. Just like Karen Mulder was the most beautiful model of the 1990s. Both of them have disappeared from the spotlight. Thanks for sharing this video. I haven't seen this much of Malin since 1994. I really miss her. Aob isn't the same without her.

Wonderful song. Linn sings like an angel. I like Annie Lennox but I can't imagine she could make a better version of the song. I think Malin's personal aproach to the song and her cherubic voice made this performance so special that changing even one note of it would be impossible.

Maybe the most important song for Linn.
Many of us here grew up wit Ace of Base songs. It's such a band that will always remind us with the warmth of love songs........viva Ac of Base
I still love this song a lot, even though it wasn't written by the band, and reluctantly sung by Linn. It definitely had sounded very different than the band's style, and I took note to that when I first listened to it, plus the fact that it focuses on "rain" when usually the theme of Ace of Base always involves the Sun. Although it was recorded in the "Flowers" era, it sounds more like from the "Da Capo" era, and sort-of reminds me of the style in "Ordinary Day", but once again, in Ordinary Day Linn sings "I can never see myself in the rain". Anyway, this is really a masterpiece, especially considering everything that was going on when Linn was forced to sing it, and doing it this well on the first take.
It's not really an Ace of Bass song. It's like they (I mean Clive Davis) were trying to make Linn go solo.
