What a happy grin I had on my face as the camera showed us the first bit of scaffolding removed and Francis was backdropped by the beautiful roofs and almost seemed to know how good he looked! It definitely is a magic moment and there have been many! I'm so impressed by the two of you, with so much going on, that you can calmly produce these videos and take us along. Right you are about a lot of us "chomping at the bit" to get the luxurious interiors going! .... My great-grandmother was hard to wake also!

It’s so special to see every little bit of progress accumulate over time and reveal just how much has truly been done. It’s very inspiring in light of my own life goals. And there really is nothing quite like the weather-proofing pieces of progress. Roof and windows. Perhaps the MOST satisfying for me to see in a way (I realize) because of how much they protect the place. Definitely not a ground-breaking revelation or anything. Of course they’re what we all want to see taken care of. But far more satisfying than I even thought.
Just. Wow. Not kidding when calling the grand reveal of the central section grand. Now it resembles a delicious, decadent wedding cake with fruit on top all the more.

people, like yourselves, restoring these old homes/buildings has brought back all these old building skills that were almost lost...one of my brothers is/was a stonemason, but when he learnt his trade there were no stonemasonry courses happening, thus he had to do a brickies trade course..after many years it was realised that they needed to bring these old trades back and so he became a stonemasonry teacher himself...he is now retired but the courses are still being run...old cities are now trying to keep the old buildings, where they can, and to restore them they need tradesmen with the right knowledge to do this work..I'm an Aussie, and you guys sound like you might be Aussies too..well done on the work so far..
