I didn't like how the story was presented in the first part of Revelation, as Teela appeared weak, conceited, undisciplined and selfish, inconsistent with the badass readhead she always been. Aside from that, the story had a lot of potential though (if she turned evil bc of the disappointment and a manipulation from Skeletor, and then came back to the good side to become the Sorceress, she would have been more consistent with her attitude and definitely a stunning twist, imo). The music was great (I love the transformation theme), as were the animation and design of all the male characters. Yes, there was a need for more He-Man in Revelation, but I'm happy that his personality was consistent with his character, apart from the deep repressed hatred towards his father, which seemed too gratuitous imo (a Randor's single line in the first episode). I really hope the development of the story got better structured in this series. I surely hope so, cuz I want more MotU series! It would be great to me to see more of the Adam/Cringer friendship, cuz they are such a goofy duo together, lol. Gwildor's voice is surely on point, lol.
There never was a bait and switch. Well... assuming you can read. Netflix's plot summary (released before the first trailer even dropped) clearly said that, in Revelation, it would be up to Teela to unite both halves of the power sword to save the universe. But again, I'm assuming the whole bait and switch crowd can read, and that expectation might be a little high (especially with Clownfish, who we know are both illiterate).
@bigtomboye ClownfishTV... you mean the two untalented hacks who got fired by Disney and couldn't get a real job so they just film their rants on UA-cam and try to make a living out of being professionally offended? How embarrassing it must be to be their kids on career day at school!
I am really excited for this season, and is great that there will be more He-man time, & romance between Adam & Tella. Can't wait to see it within 2 days. But, the only minor complain I have, that it is just 5 episodes.
That is because according to kevin smith on his UA-cam channel people who watched season 1 part 1 didn't come back for part 2. Probably because they didn't like the story and it certainly didn't help that kevin smith responded to the people who didn't like it by claiming they just weren't hardcore enough fans
I was never a big game out there but I like it it's a pretty cool new series even though people are saying bad things about it I think that this is a better updated version a lot more grown up and a lot more action
@@bigtomboye At first I thought the same... buuuuuuuuut, I have to admit, this season was GREAT unlike that first shi**y part. It was almost everything I wanted and even something more (in a good way)
How can you claim no race or gender swaps when they've already made King Grayskull black for no reason? Also, if I had to guess, Adam is going to be King, and hand the power over to Teelas black lesbian friend, what ever her name was. They're going to be like, OH turns out you're a decedent of King Grayskull that we made black JUST to tie all this in.
He’s talking about this season! We know King Grayskull was made black (which I hated btw) so you’re two years out of date! Plus was it every confirmed that Andra was a lesbian or is this another fantasy from the bate and switchers?🤔 Other reviewers have already stated Andra is barely in the show and has just a few lines, so we’ll see.
Wow, can you get any more racist? And you’re way off. We know that Adam won’t step down. He will become King. It’s been done in other media. Adam/ He-Man and Teela have a child or a chi D is found who becomes Dare and takes up the mantle of He-Man as He-Ro. And who gives a F if Andra is a lesbian or not. She’s still the current Man At Arms. She is a great character! We know she is the one who helps Adam this season when things happen. Which would be spoilers if I continued. Take your racism and bigotry elsewhere!
@FNHot... Were they "woke" in the early 2000's when Zodak was given a skin color change? Were they "woke" in 1985 when She-Ra got her own cartoon? Were they "woke" in 1983 when they aired the He-Man episodes "Teela's Quest" (all about Teela) and "The Witch and the Warrior" (all about Teela and Evil-Lyn)? You keyboard culture warriors need to learn your history before you spout off your opinions and make fools of yourselves.
Awesome work, my friend!

😢Yes that was indeed such foul character assassination of an ultrabadass😮 So frustrating, she was soooo top-tier in every other version🤔
Love that Ted is doing this. I’m super excited. Great video as always, pal!
No bait and switch?

Oh, very very probably - just exactly like the first season.
@MOTU_CTR 🐠 uh ohhh someone's jealous of Clownfish's literate success writing ✍️📚

Thank you and good journey.
Looks like they have listened. I will give this a chance.
I thought Shatner would voice Gwildor. Now I'm wondering if Shatner is voicing Scrollos?
1:26 Billy Barty would be very proud I know I am
