Love this little thing. Your review and the comments helped me to pick the right model for my needs.
Appreciate the video! Just bought one during Prime Day and it was delivered today. Keep on brother!
Awesome! Yeah you bet! Hope the video helped!
These are a life improver. I thought for a long time but now I couldn’t be without it. When I’m at work it does a clean every day and all my cat hairs and bits are gone. It’s also a cool rc car as you can steer it with the remote! Get one.
Haha they are pretty great to just hit go and watch it do your work!!
Wellppp you've convinced me! 🤣😝
Great review!!! Love the coffee on the corner!
Awesome! Thanks
Great review. I just bought mine on Amazon. I have mostly hardwood floors with a few area rugs. Excited to try it.
Thanks! It should do great for that! 👍
Well done ! Thank you. The company should acknowledge what you just did for them.
The Eufy is to be commended for not changing things. The brushes and filter remain the same, which means you can buy ahead and use parts if you buy a new one. One model to another, the brushes are the same.
Stick to the knitting, Eufy….its better business overall. Builds trust when things are consistent. Price is all important. Constant so-called upgrades, it’s a poor business model, make improvements, but keep consistent parts and operation so we don’t get stuck with obsolescence.
Safe now to gift an older person one of these robo-vacs. Previously I thought-maybe not. There's a learning curve, but once you have it down….
machine might get stuck under a low piece if furniture.
Remedy is easy, raise the legs. I’ve used those glass coaster things of yester year under cabinet legs
to make it easy for Eufy.
We can be confident now, buy for a family member. They often resist. Be ready with…vacuum under bed? Eufy vacuums under bed…and…it puts itself away.
Thanks dude. I got the most out of your video. Mine is running now...its the first day but I like it so far.
Got the black wifi one and it's awesome , it cleans every day at night when we are sleeping and does a fantastic job , it gets pretty funny when you program it with your own voice and hear it lol
Ha yeah nice touch! Glad you found one you liked 👍
Great review!!!
Thanks. Glad it helped
Most people's floor plan is already on Zillow, so not a big concern for me. Great video!
Ha. Great point. Thanks! 👍
The purpose of this tool is to clean and that it DOES!!!
We in our third day since purchasing this model and still picks up a lot of dust and yuk which we didn't know we had! We are shocked! Our home is 3/2 about 1450 sq ft. My wife and I will do almost anything to accommodate it to do its job. Can't imagine a future without it.
Seriously! Overall it does a great job! We’ve had just a few issues of it not fully getting on the charger and stuff, but it’s quiet amazing how much it picks up ... and gross ha
@@BeforeYouBuyReview It is supposed to come back to its charger and it does, consistently and we don't even provide 3 feet space on each side. You should get one that works correctly under the warranty.
It’s been behaving a better. Ours is a tighter space just sometimes doesn’t make it back
Bought it on Prime Day. Very excited to try it. Purposely chose this one over the WiFi smart vacs that map your house. I thought it might be possible for it to be hacked or tracked to get your floor plan. I didn’t know it was a real thing, just thought it was possible. Thank you for confirming it.
Yup, it’s all about user data this day in age. Pretty crazy to think about. I’m glad the video helped! 👍
It is a real thing unfortunately. Plus many of them aren't future proof now that we've moved to 5g WiFi (which is still not 100% btw). I really wanted a Roomba but couldn't justify the price. Plus, who honestly needs another device to connect to WiFi? I'm from Canada and we can get some very harsh weather. If networks are down for any length of time, the WiFi vacuums will be usueless
How much did it cost on Prime Day?
Thanks i bought one and it's very good, one tip i'll share is at first don't help it , let it get stuck, this way when it beeps you find out where are the problem areas, and deal accordingly, otherwise you spend your time following it, and personally we felt kinna foolish to do so. Yes at first we're all curious how it will do but after that just let it run and wait for a beep to help and solve the problem. Over all; its a fantastic helper, i have 2 cats and had to vacuum every 2 days now with this it picks up everything every day and i only have to empty the dustbin.
Great video! I just bought one ... but haven't got it yet. Looks like it can handle reasonably plush carpeting.
Question about spot cleaning. If that's what you want it to do, are you supposed to pick it up and place it on the area you need cleaned? And does it sense how large the (spot) area is? - or is it pre-set to a particular dimension?
Nice. Yes, there’s no intelligence from an app standpoint. You’ll have to set it in the spot and then it just kind of goes in a circle around that spot until you stop it
@@BeforeYouBuyReview okay so it does go in a physical circle. That's too bad I wish it went in a square. but thank you.
6:35: just flip the switch on the bottom. Personally I have a husky so it most definitely needs to be ran at least once a day.
8:00: unfortunately almost every robo vac (I can think of one exception by Roomba) needs to have a pretty decent path for successful cleaning.
I think I'll get this one as a house XMas gift. Maybe even sooner. I like the hassle free option of this I've. Plus eufy is trustful.
Good insight
Thank you. I owned a Roomba for 18 yrs and now I just ordered this. I have a 1 br apt and a cat so nothing big and no stairs. I hope I will not be disappointed. It is $149 on Amazon right now. Cheers
Nice. It’s hard to beat the price. Ours has worked very well for our needs and does a great job at the vacuuming
I could make a new cat with the daily hairs my Siamese provides 🤣🤣
Is it still good?
Very useful video
On prime day I bought the 11s max. I understand the only difference is better suction, however not necessarily better performance. Only $136 for a $250 vacuum. Still not sure about this guy. It gets tripped up on the rug under my couch. I love that it'll vacuum the hardwoods under the couch, however when it gets stuck, the brushes will come out. Any suggestions? I'm basically an empty nester and love the idea of never having to vacuum, though my house stays pretty dang clean consistently.
Good deal. Sometimes you get what you pay for though. I’ve tried a few other vacs since then and definitely like the more programmable ones. I never had brushes fall off though
Probably since this was done, they came out with a 11s Max. Wonder how it compares?
How does it work for multiple levels...do u have to buy one for each floor or can u pick it up and move it...will it find its way to its dock if u move the dock at the same time...how long does it typically run on a single charge for you?
Great questions. We often take ours upstairs and let it run around the bedrooms. We just let it run until it dies (few hours-ish) then bring it back on the charge. Unless room layouts are identical and dock in same location I don’t *think* it will find the dock
Just got a new vacuum but don't know how long to charge it before we can use it
I had mine for 4 years and it vacuumed my apartment every morning.. It just died today.. Going to buy another one..
Nice! They are great. Every day for 4 years is pretty solid! We run ours a couple times a week and still going strong
Thanks!
wooo got one for $159.99 + tax = Total $175.19. pretty great buy at the moment!
What about a home with a pet who sheds crazy ? Is it a good buy .. if not what do you recommend
I don’t have any pets, but it can picks up dust in the corners really well. I would think it would pick up pet hair as well.
Depending on how long your pet's hair is, you may need to untangle some of the hair from the brushes occasionally. Not weekly or anything. There are alternatives that cost over $500 that are better at not getting hair tangled in the brushes.
Anyone know if this can cross a threshold between rooms? My mom would love this!
Yes, crosses every threshold I have, wood, marble, metal.
Do yourself a favor….get some gorilla fluorescent tape, use three inches on the Eufy. Can be hard to spot, the standout tape helps.
My gripe with Roomba was it doesn’t like dark color carpets. If it would just stop, fine. But it goes into a tizz….holds a grudge, goes over and over the hardwood floor after that. After a re-charge, all is forgiven.
Roomba did a better job on the wooden front porch. Eufy doesn’t like the front porch.
Can’t go wrong because broken can be sold online. Jobbers are repairing for resale.
After more than a year, the battery was weak. I'd never change battery again….it worked fine, but it’s easier to sell broken. Itty bitty screws, forget it, just resell. Save the box.
Will this transfer room to room if there is a lip at doorway?
If the lip isn’t massive. I’d say if it’s an 1” tall or so (pretty high for a transition) then it could get hung up but I’ve never noticed an issue with transitions
I am having a problem with charging vs distance from an object(like piano)...a bit frustrated I don't have any good spots to charge it...
Bummer. Have you tried it? We have ours in a tight space and it seems to still work fine
@@BeforeYouBuyReview I moved it to an area with plenty of space 6ft in front and 3ft on each side..it will not charge....beeps red...i returned it today good riddance
@3:08 it can climb stairs !?! 🤯😱 or did you buy a second one for the second floor ? 😏😏 sneaky
I've used mine once and now it does nothing. The power button stays on red. When I start it, it leaves the dock then immediately stops and turns red again.
Bummer. Have you checked to see if it’s clogged? Hopefully it starts again. Thanks for sharing
I wish there was a few tenners more expensive one that did have a scheduling thing built-in... I don't want app controlled mapping crappy vacs... idgaf about price... I want it to empty itself at a base station, charge itself and vac every few days I say it should... how hard could it be to make a robot vac to not be ''connected'' :(
Yeah, I hear you. If you want it to empty, sadly you have to have a high end one that also is fully connected etc
Can you show a picture ofthe various pàrs?
Got it for $120 today on Amazon
Solid!!
How is the sound? I have a robot vacuum and I can’t stand how loud it is.
Great question. Most of them are pretty loud. I’m reviewing a Horniture Q6 Pro now and it allows you to have different suction powers. Just like any vacuum, if you want them to be strong usually they are loud
The black one which I have is quieter than my oreck
That’s awesome! I feel like overall they seem to be quieter in a large vacuum and are definitely doing a great job cleaning. Maybe it’s because vacuums a lot more than I used to lol.
Would this be good for picking up hair of two very hairy golden retrievers?😅😅
It would sure help! I don’t have animals, but it’s amazing how much hair from my family gets picked up. It’s so nice letting the machine do the work and not thinking about it
Mine broke after 6 months of use, the side brush motor gear went poof. The replacement vacuum is too sensitive, meaning it wont go under furniture anymore. Boost-IQ doesn't work either anymore on the replacement. Sighhhhhhhh. They have excellent customer support, but their products are not very good quality at all (meaning they wont last long). My old irobot 680 lasted almost 5 years before I had to replace the side brush motor/gears. When you pay 3 times as much as a regular vacuum, you sort of expect a certain amount of quality, and I dont care if it's a robot or not.
Bummer. Thanks for sharing! Hopefully ours lasts. It’s been about 4 months now and everything is working well still. 🤞
Hi. Was getting a replacement easy? Is the warranty only a year?
@@nuyorkerhere4583 You have to contact them via a contact form. Just search for "process a warranty eufy" and it was pretty much trouble free. In the EU you have a minimum of 2 years guarantee/warranty on any items you buy, and it looks like my replacement is starting to have the same issue as the original. I recommend not buying these flimsy robot vacuums.
@@vBDKv i just ordered this one. I was just asking ‘in case’ I need to contact them. Actually, I think they are fantastic for every day dusting, vacuuming. I just hope Eufy is as good as they claim.
@@nuyorkerhere4583 Oh I meant flimsy Eufy robot vacuums. There's something wrong with the plastic they use in the gears. 2 eufy vaccums in less than a year, and the 2nd one is already making gear noise. I only run them on hardwood floors, so it's baffling to me how they break so fast.
If you wanted a robotic vacuum cleaner with more programmable capability, why did you settle for this unit? Instead of whining, spend hundreds of dollars more than this unit for a more programmable unit.
Garbage machine!!! Don’t buy it
Tell me more. I’m excited to try some others but it has worked very well for us. What don’t you like?
@@BeforeYouBuyReview it worked a month without a problem. Then it started to stop in the middle of living room. When I tried to charge it, I realized that red solid light on top of the machine. Changed the battery but still the same. Not fully charging. So not working properly. Piece of Sheet
Bummer. Mine is still going strong 6 months later. Maybe worth reaching out to company
@@magiceyes08 You say yours dosent work properly. I wonder what the chances are if I buy one I'll have the same problem. I'm guessing next to impossible. I mean, are you telling everyone they are junk and not to buy one because they all don't work properly? Or because yours don't work properly. I'm guessing it's just yours that's junk. Probably not even using it right 😂
