      ok this site does not tell you how to heat your food up. makes you go thru and make a plan before they tell you that and in the FAQ there is not answer. MICROWAVE GARBAGE that costs more than if order a fresh meal from a local place and super small portions.

      @@uwirl4338t depends on the quality, if you mean regular industrial prosciutto, then yes, but there are also much other artisanal ham that are the same quality as iberico, like culatello or capocollo.

    In Hawaii Spam is pretty popular. It gets used in a lot of dishes and a popular snack food is Musubi (a Japanese influenced rice cube).

      @@wacotexas3011 no and yes, the reason why it became so popular is because during WW2 they brought for the GI's and then became popular among the locals and yes it lasts and cheaper. they dont do a lot of agriculture in that state because they dont want to disturb the land. Teriyaki and Portuguese sausage flavors are manufactured specifically for Hawaiian people!! would be cool if he gave a little 30 second history lesson on it. My friend lives over there and he tells me the people go crazy for the SPAM JAM!!! like a BBQ cook off with spam!!!! lmfao!!!! CHEERS!!!

      @@wacotexas3011 It goes back to WWII and is also cause of practical reasons. Across the Pacific Islands there are different people groups that live there to this day. But there is only so much land and not a lot for agriculture. Some islands are just atolls or super small. Spam became popular because Americans going from island to island during WWII brought the canned goods with them. For populations that were starving because of the war, some American planes would drop cargo onto islands (I believe even as far west as Papua New Guinea) with canned goods to eat.

      @@Garvin285 Possibly. But, you can't get the same flavor, texture, or taste from those gross ass things, that you can from spam. Obviously not every person alive is gonna like spam, or Vienna sausages. But, spam is more versatile than Vienna sausages, and can be thrown together in almost anything. They've also got several different kinds, and flavors. Each flavor going great with eggs, on some toasted bread with melted cheese after being grilled, or even in ramen noodles. Try it with gross ass Vienna sausages (of which has a fraction of the flavors spam does) and people wouldn't be such a fan of spam, Let alone Michelin star chefs like Gordon Ramsay. Spam is a staple of several down home, comfort meals. Just because don't enjoy it, you haven't tried it, or you just have no intention doing so. Doesn't mean everyone else has to agree with your incorrect and asinine opinion on anything.

    A meat mass that is heated in the oven and then put on a roll.
    Try doing something like this with Wagyu A5.
    It would definitely be fun and taste good too!

    You can just tell how much love and energy is in it.

    Prosciutto is very similar to spanish iberico ham, we use the leg of the pork, depending of what the animal has eaten it will have a different taste, here in Spain we usually feed them acorn that's why it's called jamón de bellota.

    I was smoking Spam weekly for about a year and slicing/frying in and putting it on an egg, spam and cheese sandwich for breakfast. I usually soak the spam in water for about 4 hours first to pull out some salt and they smoke it for 20 to 30 minutes on low heat. It is actually pretty tasty.

    Cold grinding equipment is another great tip! The friction causes quite a bit of heat, Ive also heard of ice cubes in the mix although i haven't tried this one myself (id worry it would make the mix a watery sludge. Edit: for spam it wouldnt matter i guess)

    Two ways of serving spam. (1) pan fried with ingredients that need fat or salt. (2) Boiled to release the fat/salt to make a broth for soup/rice/noodles ect.

    Hear me out ......
    Step 1 slice the spam into quarter in slices. Cut it thicker if you don't want it as cooked and crisp
    Step 2 fry those in a pan on each side until crisp. 2 mind each side should do. Take them out of the pan and chop them up into cubes. Add into a smol bowl
    Srep 3. Crack 4 eggs into a pan and whisk add a dash of milk and spices.
    Step 4. Put a smol bit of salt free butter into a pan pour your eggs in. On one side add the cubed spam and 3 slices of cheese. Growing up we used craft singles haha.
    Fold into an omelet and flip until done.
    Enjoy. Horrible directions but if you're kn a budget you can make these for like less than a 1.50$
    Only need like 2 slices of spam. Slices of cheese and a few eggs

    I love spam. I just sprinkle sugar to both sides before frying it and it goes really well with plain rice. Just a note, don't fry it for too long or the sugar will burn and harden onto the spam so the taste will be like you're eating a fossil.

    As a Hawaiian. Living in Hawaii all my life born and raised. Spam is essential over here. Even at our McDonald’s they sell a Spam,eggs, and rice platter. Instead of biscuits and gravy and eggs like the mainland.

    I love spam. I got a taste for it when I broke my fridge, and I needed some sort of meat I could keep in my pantry until I could afford a new one. Never use a knife to chip ice out of the freezer. I punctured a line, and got a face full of refrigerant.

    If you dont like spam make sure you fry it in small slices make it extra crispy then try it again. Ive heard of many people who dont like spam but have only eaten it cold or in the microwave

    Didn’t see real Wagyu a5 here….just some replica….stop clickbaiting. There are only 9 certified vendors that are allowed to sell „wagyu“ everything not bought from them is not real wagyu. The packaging gave it away it’s not from them since the packaging is always the same and comes with a real certificate. It’s also soooo hard to get since it’s not a massproduction that you won’t even get your hands on it.

    The best way to eat Spam is to cook it until golden brown on a cast iron skillet with some American Cheese melted on top. Put that between two pieces of bread, and that's an amazing sandwich which may or may not be terrible for you. Either way, it's delicious nonetheless lol

    Ok so since you tried spam which is pork try luncheon loaf (iberia brand) its chicken and taste like spam. Great alternative for people who don’t eat pork. Great experiment im sure your version was the best!

    This is pretty fun to watch with the crazy high quality meat, but if you wanted to help people figure out whether they might want to try this, it might be better to also include a version with like a regular good steak you can buy at the store for $15

    I grew up on spam. My uncle would always make fried me spam sandwiches with smoked cheese habanero slices. He wasn’t much of a cook but I miss his meals.

    Spam reminds me a bit of the German „Leberkäse“ which is a Pastry out of ground pork or beef and baked to have a nice crust
