One of the things I really enjoy about your videos is how you explain the anatomy of the animal to help explain the cuts of meat. It’s something I’ve never seen/had explained to me and you perfectly summarize where cuts are located, use cases for them, and how to clean them. Also the camera work and editing the last year has been stellar, great work Max & Sophia!
I have to say, the Editing, the HumoR and the also the information you provide about the cuts, are so you unique to your videos and it's quite amazing! And yeah why not use a Tuna slicer
I love these videos! Relaxing, Light humor, very informative, nice choice of music, and I always get hungry watching them 😅 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐. Keep up the great work brother
Absolutely mouthwatering I’m watching this at 1100pm and now I really want some steak also congrats on hitting 4mill I’m been watching for a while and I gotta say the camera work and editing is getting pretty nice great job to max and Sophie again congratulations on 4mill
Hey max, if you haven't already could you do a video on cooking steaks with different types of oil (Vegetable, Olive, Sesame, Sunflower, Peanut, Avocado etc) and which one you think personally is best?
As someone who works in a grocery store meat department, the work down of the chuck roll was amazing, the chuck eye is my favorite, as is to my cutters, thats why i always ask for one before they cut one
I NEED more youtubers to preach about the Denver steak. I always like the wagyu videos, but I love some of these other cuts. Denver, chuckeye, etc are budget warriors
Pray for me my brothers. I have decided to do a fast from all things beef for new years. I have survived 1 month so far. No burgers, no steak, no brisket, no ribs. Its been a struggle maybe i cheated a bit by ordering bison but i am technically still winning. For each month i survive i will replicate 1 recipe from a steak house chef as a reward. This is #1 on my list so far.
Hi Max, your videos are never boring🤩🤩I never get tired of watching them. Your expressions of disgust are so funny, when you taste something.😂😂😂 How about roasting a steak🥩 with turmeric powder and ginger? 😜😍
when you think about it all you really did was made a salt-baked crust using the Umami powder since you have salt in umami powder you add a little water and poof flavor salt-baked
Loved this video. Chuck roast can be very delicious if cooked properly. I do have a question. So, I thought the other test was to determine if the seasoning wrap added more flavor. Wouldn't the results be affected by seasoning them before they went into the smoker. Or am I wrong?

@PokeGamerZ it’s super fatty and it takes some time to reach the meat
@PokeGamerZ First i though WTF! but on second thought i do get your idea but i think the chicken would solidify and not sponge up the tallow
What does he do with his project meat after??
Congrats on post 5 million sub
I was on low volume when I watched this and i want to know was I the only one to hear mommy powder
I have to say, the Editing, the HumoR and the also the information you provide about the cuts, are so you unique to your videos and it's quite amazing!

Thanks so much man!
Max takes steaks to the NEXT LEVEL it’s actually insane and creative

I know I’d never in hell do such thing 💯
Had me weak lol
You madman! Congratulations on the 4mill 🎉🥳🪅
Ayy thank you! 🙏
0:00 “wrapping your meat” 💀
When you took that whole spoon of powder I fkn lost it 💪🤣🤣🤣🤣
Man has such a nice sister 😢
When you read off the ingedients in your umami powder, I couldn't help but hear Uncle Roger say, "Haiyaa. Just add MSG. MSG is the king of flavor."
Hey max, if you haven't already could you do a video on cooking steaks with different types of oil (Vegetable, Olive, Sesame, Sunflower, Peanut, Avocado etc) and which one you think personally is best?
Show what u do with the project meat for your videos!!
of course we still watching MAX .
beautiful journey . 👍🏻😋
Would be cool to have some friends do the testing with you like Guga, but great experiment 🤩👍🏻 Would love to try the Umami one 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Max eating a spoonful of blue cheese powder: that's delicious
Also Max: spits it out in a slow mo cam
The powders are dried out ingredients so they'd act as dessicsnnts (sucking the moisture off anything so they can rehydrate themself).
Only watched 3 of your videos and I'm hooked! Keep up the amazing content and the hilarious edits 😅
Looks like a very similar way to cooking salt baked cod. Ingenious!!
0:00 he’s right lads. And not just in cooking.
Standard UA-camr shocked thumbnail. 😂🤣
I love watching cooking videos cause I’m always satisfied at the end

Hey Max, I've been watching your content for a while and none of ur vids letted me down. Very underrated and keep up the work :D.
Ily you max you always make my day.
The amount of effort this man puts in his videos just to entertain us is insane! W vid as always, keep up with the grind😎👌
Ok fake MrBeast, might have to buy another channel bud

This was wild, but awesome. I LOVE a good smoked chuck roast. Need some umami powder!
The Control was Phenomenal😂😂w
love ur vids max
I love the over the top hand movements as if you're conducting an opera behind the camera.
Why not compare with basic salt shell ?
Dried Chile??? @ 4:12
🔥🔥🔥
Wow! I subbed when you were at a few thousand and you’re almost at 4 mil. Absolutely insane!
Do it like how you would do salt baked fish or chicken; mix egg whites with the powder and create a batter to cover the meat up.
What did you do with the shells? I think they may do well in a beef stock for sauces or deglaze for veggies in a stew like a condensed base.
Hey Max have you ever cooked lamb? If so I would like some advice on how to prepare it.
I have! My favorite flavor combination is olive oil, balsamic vinegar, garlic and rosemary. Also cumin sometimes. A good base for a marinade!
The more you know 👍
Always looking forward to the next 🔥💯😊
I NEED more youtubers to preach about the Denver steak. I always like the wagyu videos, but I love some of these other cuts. Denver, chuckeye, etc are budget warriors
Wow, happen to hop on youtube this morning. Supprised by a new video from Max the Meat Guy 👍
Thanks so much for watching!

MSG - stand for make shit good 👍
Are you going to try this method (or a similar one) on brisket? Would love to see that! Love the content Max 🤙
Big chuck roast/steak fan here, it's cheaper normally slightly but still just as enjoyable as any other cut
Dude turned from an ordinary cook to a samurai chef
I never knew umami powder was a thing
pretty cool thing to learn about 😋
Many people around me still wrap the neat in aluminum then wrap the aluminum in clay mud as the shell for cooking
Bro the 1st 3 seconds of this video 😂😂😂😭😭 im fuckin crying dude
4:28 It is the Savoriness and Robustness
That doom music was perfect😂

the editing in this video was peak lmaoo 😭😭😭
My man running around with a whole katana. Btw. Your sister single? I feel like I’d get along with her brother.

Umami is the pure meaty taste that makes you drool. I think, that's the way to decribe it
happy 4 mil, you taught me a lot with these videos, i didnt even know what marbling was lol
Anyone else take a shot every time Max says, “as you can see”
Entertaining video as always
I know it's probably been a few days, congratulations on 4 million subscribers Max
You missed a golden opportunity to say "max and cheese"

Was there any reason for not wrapping the roasts in the paste and then in the butchers paper ?

Damascus steel machete interesting. Would like to try all three, do seem taste.
Denver steak is definitely slept on
Now Cook in Clay.
Anyways know if at 2:06 it's a song or a sample if anyone knows please tell me I need to know of it
so hear me out... yk how people butter age some cuts? could you technically cheese age them to? if so please show us how!
Anyone else wonder what he does with all that meat when he finishes the video? 🤔
Personal use
The shell will also radiate heat back into the roast, making it cook quicker and more tender compared to the butchers paper. 😉
You should do a vid where max has to guess the cut/ type of meat . Idk just thought it would b interesting
Congrats on passing the big 4!
I love your vids it is so satisfying to watch.I just love meat 😂
Can you do an Umami powder meat vs a MSG one? I think MSG will be a superior Umami flavor
Does smoking them all under the same roof (grill) getting the flavour smoke mixed make a difference?
The vegan teacher is scared of him….
New name recommended mighty meat max
“Wrap your meat is a very important step”
Me: *crickets*
I have an idea for you, cook a steak, then make it into ground beef for a burger
In a way I hate watching these videos because it just makes me want to eat the delicious steaks that he makes
The way he said wrapping our meat
