I think one thing that would encourage me to continue these lessons is songs I could play at the end of the week after consistently practicing. Any recommendations?
You can set the video to play at slower speeds on UA-cam and it retains the correct pitch. Setting wheel in the corner of the video. I hope this helps.

I bet I have $2000 invested in various things for music. I really think I'm done. I can't put in 4 & 5 hundred hours a year. I'm 70 years old and work 40 plus hours a week what was I thinking. As a beginner I would find it most helpful if middle c was highlighted in these videos. In this way one can determine bass: left hand or clef: right.

Playing Adele in the correct key isn't any harder. It's not like you're reading sheet music, so just go with the correct chords.
