Hi! I love this channel because there are so many tutorials of really popular songs, like Taylor swift songs, which I love so much and I can learn it with the sheet music! It’s so hard to find popular sheet music for free and have awesome tutorials on the song I’m learning! I have a a sign request, Cruel Summer, by Taylor swift. It’s one of my favorite songs and super popular too! I hope you guys can take the time and make a video on how to play Cruel summer! Thank you so much!

Honestly, the thing I love the most about this is how Sangah was clearly enjoying how utterly barmy the song is. She's already got a huge grin on her face as we head into the second B section and then just breaks as the "DUN! DUN! DUN! DUN!" keyboard slams happen, then she sees this wall of notes coming at her when the key changes and she just starts laughing even harder and even mimics the "EEEEEEEEE!" at the end.

I loved at 5:13 how she started clustering groups of the same RH chord to speed up the song, and then she how she added a bit of syncopation/rocking feeling at 5:21 to the chords to add a greater sense of speed. I would pay for her arrangement...plus, the skills to play consecutive repeated chords/notes with the ease/relaxation that she does. Just wooooow!

So I'm not a piano player myself, however, I think I have a fairly unique relationship with it: My mom teaches piano, from preschool to highschool aged kids. So I'm surrounded by people who love playing the piano, especially with my mom. So I sent her this! First off, her reaction was that everyone wants to learn this song; aka, a lot of her students. But this is a great way to show this level of musical expertise to people who are good at the basics, but haven't gotten into composing or truly listening.
It's also a great lesson in how wrong notes don't break a piece. Slight imperfections are rarely noticed by the audience, and even so, they add a personal touch. And when you get to crazy songs like this, the notes will just fall apart... But it works, as long as you have the base of the song still there. It makes the piece feel complete.
Thank you for showing us the thought behind each step, it makes me feel connected to my mom, in a time that we're not very close :>

Gifted. Hard work meets brilliance. Just was explaining my kids the importance of memorizing a melody first then playing by ear, and then cross check the notes, is the way to go. Also known as the suzuki method I believe. Lots of love & blessings ♥️

Sangah right here - has some top tier professional skill.
The method you used, listening to the song by ear and then compare your singing with the piano notes, I also use it and I can play literally any easy song without even looking it up.
    Full.
The fact that even the man himself, SheetMusicBoss, has commented on this video, is a rare W.

Both renditions are beautiful. Like can I download them and just listen to them on repeat forever? I feel many people try to just mimic the song completely which takes away from it. Putting her own flair really made this shine.

Except this wasn't design for a piano, the chord doesn't have a chance to vibrate through fast repetition.

What I love the most about Rush E is that, even of the sections where every key is being pressed, you can still actually tell you are listening to actual music.
