      @@GT1900garage A 71 GT, Orange, Manual.Before too long, I'll have a place where I can start the restoration. Lots of body work, so I am learning a lot from you.

      @@GT1900garage i know people who worked in the plant in Kaiserslautern,where the motor was built and the front and rear axle,the car was built in Rüsselsheim i suppose

      Thanks for the comment, It of course take some effort, but not as much as one might expect. Besides, it is fun addition to work with the car itself.

      Yes, it is. Apparently 1972 model, registered late 1971

    Yeah the engine was under the bulkhead, that is why the valve cover is halve high and low. I think he blow oil too over the valves the rings are bad now. Oh the engine was with hydraulic tappet like the Rekord D. To set the valves you don´t need a feeler gauge.

      When time is right I may need to build a test bench for engine to check it running before putting it in...

    How did you disconnect the steering column from the front suspension?

      Let me get you back with this one... I need to go to the garage and check was it only slot and locking screw !!!

      I figured it out, I was able to get it out and off. Got the brake pedal and gas pedal out. I think I’ll tackle the engine next.

      Kyllä on. aika selkeä mielikuva, tarkka värikoodi vielä hakusessa. En sitä vielä ole julkistanut koska tässä on vielä hetki duunia ennen kuin auto menee maalattavaksi. Mieli voi muuttua.. Mutta on yksi niistä jotka esiteltiin jaksossa #19

      Einfache Arbeit, ich habe eine ziemlich gute Dokumentation zur Verfügung. Ich spiele die Videos einfach rückwärts ab, wenn ich mit dem Zusammenbau des Autos beginne 😅
