- Hi everyone! I just wanted to give everyone a quick channel update on what I've been working on!

This is pretty exciting. Thanks for working on something like that for us! I've always been fascinated by 1.0 .
I remember finally making the journey from Gridania to Uldah, and when I entered the city all i remember is seeing rows and rows of players crafting. There was no recipe book, it was all from memory or whatever people recorded on websites. And if you wanted a black cloak, each individual piece had to be dyed black before the final craft. Seeing the rows of players crafting really felt like i was immersed in an economy, so I did the only thing I knew how to - offered a TP Taxi service to players for Gil.

So is project meteor still in development? Haven't seen any updates at all in awhile 😕
The only thing I saw recently is one of the main devs was working on a bunch of Lua stuff. I pop in their discord every now and then but mostly have distance myself from their project to start my own. I'm not cut out for programming lol :D
@@slerplederp6655 that's so fair. I haven't touched my own copy since I got it working cause I'm afraid of breaking it
Is the Discord still open to join, or is there still even a Discord at all? The link in the repository doesn't work
PM has it closed because it's mainly a development discord.
@@slerplederp6655 Oh okay, I'm also racking my head because I keep getting the "Unable to detect DirectX device" error that crashes my game and I just wanna recreate the CG characters as a party to watch the cutscenes with X_X
@@TheEpicSuperstars If you mean by going full-screen, minimizing the game and it crashing with that directx issue that happens to everyone unfortunately. Not exactly sure why, but if you put the game in window mode it shouldn't happen at all.
@@slerplederp6655 The thing is though, I've been playing exclusively in windowed mode, but I do alt-tab a bit.
