Hello, great video. My mavic 2 had a fairly gentle crash into a bush and now won’t keep a level horizon. Everything works fine apart from that, I manually correct it in app but it will slowly tilt again and the auto calibrate function gets stuck at 20%. I’ve kind of accepted it now as I can correct in post but it’s annoying. Got told I needed an entire new gimbal/camera assembly for £580!

I have a problem with my Mavic 2 Zoom, some jitter on yaw axis appear from time to time(no error message for the motor though). You say something about some bad batch of yaw motors... Could this be the cause în my case? I bought the drone S-H, the seller swored it did not crash it, there were no signs but I couldn't see the problem with the yaw motor then but when it was too late to return it. The gimbal is mechanically fine, end points are ok, no springiness, no bendings...I now have to decide between buying a complete gimbal or just the yaw motor. Any idea, please?

Wow.. not so easy mine spuratically tilt camera mid flight first time i thought it was falling out of the sky smh could that same piece be whats bad.. and it hesitates to look up and down too
Hi, I falow your video and I replace my yaw and roll motor. Before I have only when I fly sideways a vibration from gimbal, not it says gimbal motor overloaded, and remain stuck at 60% calibration. I think I should replace the cable too? Need some advice please. What should I do next. Thanks for the help in advance
@@HyperFliteDrones thanks for reply. I m located in Germany. I just do something different. I reinstall the old original motor. But before I clean with 99% alcohol the motor because it was like is something inside(sand, dirt idk). I reinstall it back and now seems it work. I must just fly it again in the wind sideways, to see if the gimbal still has that vibration. I will keep update after. Thanks
@@HyperFliteDrones I just tested with the old motor and it do the same vibration by flying sideways. I might be received a bad motor also from drone parts?

Hi, I ran into an issue with 3 different complete gimbals, one pro and two zoom for me, where gimbals go limp after motor start up. Gimbal will make weird buzzing noise and go limp, sometimes it will take few seconds and it goes limp. Most of the time in all 3 axis. All the ribbons are good. It started happening after few firmware upgrades. I have two M2, one pro and one zoom. It happens on both drones. I tried swapping the gimbals between the drones and the same thing. The worst thing is that there are no error messages after gimbal goes limp. Any suggestions or possible fixes ? What are the chances of getting a faulty new gimbal motors if so many were faulty from the factory ? Thank you for the time.
Hello there is a pretty high chance of getting defective parts that are new. I’d say about 30%. If you would like to maybe have them sent in for service I can give it a try.
@@HyperFliteDrones Thank you for the reply. I do fix them myself, been doing it for few years, it started with mavic pro that I found in the recycling bin. Is there aftermarket gimbal parts that I just don't know about ?
