Thank you! After dropping my Mavic 2 Pro the IMU showed data errors on both accelerometers. Using this guide I was able to remove and reinstall the IMU. It corrected the issue. Just to clarify, I reused the IMU and did not have to buy a new new one. This saved me from having to send my drone to DJI for an expensive repair job and probably a three week delay in getting it back. As it turned out I was able to get my drone back into service within 24 hours.

Thanks for the video man. I was getting an IMU error and it wouldn't allow me to calibrate anything. None of the sensors were working, etc. After taking the drone apart, I noticed there was some water damage on the connector from the IMU to the board. There was also a lot of sand inside the drone. I ended up buying the IMU and the board together since it was only 50 bucks. This cleared up all of the errors. I'm guessing some moisture must've gotten into the drone, especially since I fly this thing at the beach often.

Hi mate. Great video, thank you. With the odd screw problem, 3 are short and 1 is long because of the length of the legs on the board, when you look at it you will see what I mean. Thanks again

Gr8 video. I do have a question. After replacing the IMU sensor do i need to do some software work also? Like on cars if you change a part that is electronicly connected you need to learn your ECU that a new part is installed. Or you just start the drone and it works?

regarding your question: open up and service and remove the gimbal and disconnect the cable and connect them back in and test, i get parts off aliexpress or ebay.

Great Video, I just recently hit a tree broke the Rear leg which I can replace but also getting an IMU ACC1 Data Error. After several times to recalibrate still getting the same ACC1 Data Error. Should I purchase a new IMU from EBay? Will that fix the issue?

regarding the issue, we have purchased on ebay and aliexpress emu and fixed the issue, just a warring we had to return twice the IMU because we guess they keep selling the faulty IMU on ebay, and the ali express purchase worked like a charm.
Hello uFixTex....great repair videos & great knowledge of Mavic2Pro. I was flying my M2Pro yesterday..hit some tree limbs at low impact flying sideways, and now it will not take off. When I power on the drone and all props pulse 3 movements....the one that hit the tree only pulses 1 time and stops. Am I correct in believing that arm is damaged and needs replacing, or can I do something to fix it myself ? I know I can order an arm/leg but not great at soldering even though I have the gear. Thanks for help, maybe I can send to you to repair, but want to try "all I can do" if possible...Steve
send me an email, with a video few sec just when you turn it on, and you may just have to sync the rotors and that's all.
remove the battery and and short the pins where the battery goes in , inside the drone for about 30sec. this will reset the capacitors. the left pins with right pins short them (dont short the battery ONLY the drone pins)

Dude...thanks for your input...but I decided to do the repairs myself, and knowing I was a novice at soldering very small wires, I ordered a pro level solder station and watched a kazillion youtube videos before gaining the confidence to get started replacing my left front arm ! As always, Murphys law shows-up, as some of the tiny T-6 or T-7 torx bolts "stripped out" on me, and I had to get my dremel tools out and cut a line across the heads of two bolts, turning them into a straight-edge screws to get em out and proceed..which I did. You talk about being as nervous as a "whore in church" but I persevered and fixed my Mavic Two Pro, she's flying again and all things are good just in time to fly over some 4th of July colors...if there are any ?
Where can I get the gimbal ?, I had an accident with the drone, that one of the sides of the engine where the camera is moving seems to be broken, I also have an error in the IMU, I calibrate it but it keeps coming out an error.

Hey i was flying my mavic 2 the other day and crashed no damage but the forward facing sensors saying somethings in front but theres nothing like the obstacle avoidance is on like its working in reverse i can't go forward because it saying something in front. If you can help that would be great. Thanks
hi and thank you for the support to the channel, and regarding your issue make sure that the lens and crystals in this two corners are intact and there is nothing physically wrong, and report back.
6:02 I bet the empty circuitry is there for the Enterprise varient between the dual cameras and the attachments, I can see it needing some extra controllers. It'd be cool to confirm that though.
it is tru as it is the same on laptop the main pcb board is designed for all different models and depending the models for consumers they add and subtract components and futures, that way they dont have the need to print different circuit for different models, keeping the cost low.
Thanks for the great video. I have replaced the IMU but i am still getting these errors: ACC1 Desconectado... ACC2 Desconectado... GYRO1 Desconectado... GYRO2 Desconectado. Have you ever encountered this problem?

regarding your question: i would recommend you to remove all the flex cables and reconnect the flex cable.just follow this video and disconnect and reconnect the flex cable, one of the flex cables are not making a good connections,

Hi ufixtec, need help, replaced bottom infrared sensor board but keep getting error msg saying upper and lower infrared sensor calibration error. How do I fix, tried vision calibration with no success. Do the boards need coded in ? Ps subscribed to your channel
there is no codding, reset the board and let me know, after you put everything together remove the battery and you will need to short the two right pins with two left pins for 30sec, that way the chip set will reset. (the pins on the drone not the battery) .
How would you know if you need an IMU replacement. I’ve been often getting Gimbal Overload Errors -any idea how to fix that?
if you had Gimbal Overload, that's not the IMU its the 3 axis motor error. this has happened to few clients of mine , that the only solution was to replace the Gimbal, and this happens because you / people try moving or touch the Gimbal when the drone is on, and this damages the elbow *axis of the Gimbal. or also you have put on a heavy lens on the Gimbal or if you have fly too much over sea water or salt water and that damages the Gimbal.
You probably need to replace the cable..it get damaged very easily
Thank you for the video, it was very well explained I must say. I have DJI Air 2s which I crashed a few weeks before and broke one of the legs. After having replaced the leg I was able to fly the drone for a few minutes but it was not a very stable flight and I was able to land the drone safely. After landing I started getting IMU errors 30084, 30055 & 30056. I ordered new GPS module, IMU module and GPS flex cable to sort the issue. Replaced all three components but I was still unable to calibrate the IMU. It keeps getting stuck at 6% calibration and gives a calibration error. Any clue what might be happening here. Thanking you in anticipation and looking forward to your worthy guidance, please.

Hello, Ufix! My Mavic is with an error 1112. I can't activate it to fly. Suport DJi said he can't activate it because they reported it as a transport robbery, I was tricked by a salesman, I lost my money. Do you think if I change the logic board this problem can be solved? Thank you!
JASON you dont need to change anything you can modify the firmware and it will be fix let me ask a friend how he did i will mag you.

I just tried it today. Took me an hour. I didnt replece IMU, just removed it and re-installed. It must have become loose. Try it without purchasing new IMU before you buy the replacement part. You definitely need an electronic tool kit for phones and small electronics.

hi i am getting IMU calibration failed error code -71 after a hard landing on my mavic pro.(Not mavic2) I tried re calibrating multiple times without any success. will it fix the issue if i change the imu module similarly like you did?

regarding your question: yes we do get the issue about the IMU in the store and we replace the IMU board and it all works normally.
Hi there.I have a big problem whit my Mavic 2 zoom vision sensors.I cant fly because the app tell me that rear left and right vision sensors are working badly.I cleaned and i try to calibrate using Dji assistance 2 many times but when i star the process the calibration freeze on the screen following the blue light and i must restart the program whitout any sucess.Can be a malfuncion sensors?How can i buy them and replace?The drone never had acident.
the issue is with sensors and i looked for them and i can't find a seller that has them, the only solution is to get a crashed drone for parts and remove the sensors and use them. look for facebook market place for damaged drone.
If the GPS board is not good is it the reason not to take off or the canera not to move?
Its because it has fet in the water bt had a gud clean up it turn on everything bt won't fly
ya the gps is very sensitive part it can react with taking off and many other issues.
So u advice me to change the gps board in it then? U think it would be ok afer that in the future?
we dont know the damage that has been done on the main board with water, but we have repaired few drons by changing the GPS and started just fine.,

regarding your question: i had this happened to me once and i called the warranty and they explained the servers manage also now what they do is if you not supposed to fly in the location that you in at ,it will give you that error. the government is mapping hard on every state.
so its the server issue or the zone that you at its on black list.
I still don't understand how the drone senses that its battery isn't seated properly. I don't see any sensors for that. Do you know the answer?

Regarding your question, it is because of the battery contacts, they may be corroded or not touching the inside contacts of the drone.
clean the contacts of the battery and the terminals of the battery inside the drone.

just purchased Mavic 2 pro, within few days i am getting "Gimbal motor overloaded error" and then Gimbal starts moving erratically, no stability at all, many jerks are there. what is the solution for the same.
your gimbal was turned on when you had the protective cover, and or maybe something touched it when it was powered on or you touched the gimbal when it was on!, that will damage or it will set it off its balance. there is nothing you can do, just power on and off and if it doesn't calibrate automatically then you have to replace it or send it for warranty.
I own a dji mavic 2 pro. The problem that I am facing is that the core board doesnt detect sd card. I have checked with several sd cards. All the cards work fine on laptop and on other core boards. Also the sd card slot is perfect if paired with different core board. Kindly help with solution if you can.

there is only one tool set of the screw drivers you need and this is a cheapest, unless you want to buy the really cheapest one and then you will or may damage the screw heads.
