I have conflicted feelings in this season. On one hand, its actually good. On the other hand, everything is overdue and many scenes are so dumb its obvious they wanted to drag it with below bare minimum effort
The thing is, Risk is the first time we REALLY see Adrien vent to Marinette about his feelings. And we ACTIVELY see him praise Marinette for listening to him and helping him and making him feel better. After that shift, he continues to see Marinette as a confidante. And I think somewhere along the lines he fell (more) in love with her because he realized he could share things with her that he couldn't share with anyone else. Like, we know he already had feelings for a long time (thanks to Lazy, obvis.) but once he realized he could share his heart with Marinette, the boy fell for her, hard and fast. Not even Nino has that much insight into Adrien's home life. And the idea that he couldn't share his heaviest burdens with Ladybug because they involved his identity, probably helped him to make that strong emotional shift.... Ironically, that realization is also the same reason Marinette started noticing her feelings for Chat Noir bubbling up. She realized she could confide in him and share something private with him, namely the heaviest burden in /her/ life which for Marinette is being a superhero. Something Chat Noir can understand, which she believes Adrien can NOT fully understand (especially since he can never know).
It was pretty obvious Adrien had feelings for Marinette before the umbrella scene he was determined to be friends with her and it upset him when he wasn't making progress, then in Animan he stared at her family picture as Cat Noir, he wants her to smile and be happy and comfortable around him his feelings for Ladybug clouded his true feelings it had to take him falling away from his love for Ladybug to see and feel his true feelings for Marinette I started watching Miraculous last January '22, and didn't know about Lazy til about mid year

THANK YOU for saying this ive been wanting to say everything you pointed out also i want to add this for any heart broken Ladynoir fans: having them fall in love with every side (whether its their real or superhero side) means that when their identities are revealed they wont (like in the past) fall in love JUST because of their identity but instead realize they always have loved each other. ex: in Chat Blanc and in Empheral the only reason Adrien falls for Marinette is because he realizes she is ladybug and hell he even says "i just realized my best friend is the girl I'm in love with" meaning if some other girl was ladybug hed love her instead. and Marinette in Empheral only falls for Chat Noir after she finds out he's Adrien and starts to notice him more for it. but the way the story has progressed now has allowed them to fall completely in love with one another and the reveal wont be the cause of it. :)

I deeply appreciate that the entire Miraculous community has quietly agreed that the Puppeteer episode was the *cringiest* due to the museum incident and immediately knows what you're talking about when you call it *that* episode. or the forbidden episode. The amount of secondhand embarrassment I get watching it is insane, and I've only seen it twice. Even the still it makes me recoil. It's like a jumpscare.

Y'know, it was stated wayyyyyy back then that Adrienette is the endgame. Like come on, its pretty obvious. I kinda feel like Miraculous Ladybug is some kind of guide to recognize the good and bad about being in a relationship thing. In season 1, Marinette falls in love with Adrien, the development of the love square, the creepy-stalker mari we know before. To the progress of seasons, they now have a character development to a good in-depth of each other's lives and feelings. Wow, talk about season 5 might be my biggest wish come true for Adrien and Marinette to be together, or might be also a heaven-hell scenario (based on the spoilers been floating around rn) I can't - 😭😭😭😭 (I also noticed I may be pointing things that wasn't necessary or anything, but eh I just write what are my experience and opinions about it😅 dont attack pls)
I love watching Lazy since half a year, because if her theory and other explaining about the ships but most importantly humor i love she makes it funny its sound and not to mention this video got more better now.. I admit, this season Adrienette is just so cute its giving me diabetes. But at the same time, im done with the ship, its just so waaaay overdue and rushed and we dont actually see much progression. Heck, their progress only exist since S4 finale. Throughout S3, she spent more time in sabotaging any girl that got close to him and breaking into his house instead of being a better friend. And Adrien never shown to have conflict with his feelings towards Ladybug and Marinette, if he's actually been in love with Marinette since that cursed episode S5 is only good bcs we finally get what we wanted, but if you look back, you'll realize that everything we got was nothing more than compressed file that shoved into one season without any build up or care
But look they have to date in order for the reveal. No dating No reveal simple. When do people even want Adrinette to start dating? For me personally it doesn't seem rushed at all. They had a relationship growth within a good span tbh, I can't say they didn't have a relationship growth within 4 seasons lol

Any time they dated when they revealed their identities they were a perfect couple.
I admit, this season Adrienette is just so cute its giving me diabetes. But at the same time, im done with the ship, its just so waaaay overdue and rushed and we dont actually see much progression. Heck, their progress only exist since S4 finale.
Throughout S3, she spent more time in sabotaging any girl that got close to him and breaking into his house instead of being a better friend. And Adrien never shown to have conflict with his feelings towards Ladybug and Marinette, if he's actually been in love with Marinette since that cursed episode
S5 is only good bcs we finally get what we wanted, but if you look back, you'll realize that everything we got was nothing more than compressed file that shoved into one season without any build up or care
But look they have to date in order for the reveal. No dating No reveal simple. When do people even want Adrinette to start dating? For me personally it doesn't seem rushed at all. They had a relationship growth within a good span tbh, I can't say they didn't have a relationship growth within 4 seasons lol
